Comfort Inn and Suites - טינטון פולס

I have stayed at this hotel twice. I absolutely love it. It's like staying at a mini apartment. The rates are reasonable, and the rooms are very cozy. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again in the future.

Room had a mildew smell. Carpet was very old a d neat up. Lock on the door was coming off. Water pressure was so low.

General condition of hotel and room is poor. The rooms are dark and the TV's and carpets need relacing.The TV's are old tube type and require two remotes to opperate. The stairways are wood which is spliting and peeling paint badly.The only plus was friendly, courteous employees.

For the most part it was good. There could be better towel service. There was a light in bedroom without a bulb. The clock radio was non functioning.

Our suite was very spacious. Good privacy between the rooms. The sofabed was quite comfortable.

We have stayed in this hotel several times and I have to say it's really going down hill quickly. The rooms definitely need a good cleaning and some maintenance.

The rooms are old, the bathroom fixutures have been neglected, the sheets were clean but the blankets were filthy. The HVAC is outdated, the doorframe was coming off the wall, and people smoked in the couryard all the time. The breakfast room staff argued with each other in public. The TV was a tube type and required two remotes to opperate. House keeping needs much to be desired.

Have been a guest here off an on for years. Am usually very satisfied...However this past stay there were serious problems with the housekeeping. A used womans razor was left in the shower, as I reach off the bed to get my watch, I noticed garbage behind the nightstand.

Shower had no water pressure. Overhead light in bathroom didn't work

The security lock was broken. The staff did offer to move us to another room but it was late.

I booked several rooms at this hotel because of my past experince I told several other people to book at this hotel because I have had a great experince, but all our rooms were dirty dusty smelly and had what appeared to be blood on the walls windows and in the bath tub. My brother had to change rooms. I will thing twice about booking a room at this comfort inn for sure. Now this I am sure was isolated but it was very disappointing. The staff seemed to be more interested in personnel things then there guests.

I enjoyed the conveinience of the location to the shoppes and event I was attending. The customer service desk was great, as was the breakfast. I was concerned at the food particles and dirt left on the sofa bed once opened. It had not been opened and cleaned. The comfort of the sofa bed could have also been better. The indoor pool , although a great plus for booking, was located in an unheated, cold room in the middle of winter.

The owner of this hotel should be ashamed of himself. The interior of the hotel was discusting. Paint was falling off all of the wooden stairways. There were no towels available on the second day of our stay. There was trash and garbage in the hallways both days. There was trash everywhere outside the hotel.

This place is not as bad however the price could be better. It looks real nice from the outside yet no flat panels in room, bed makes squeeking noise when you lay on it, could use more chairs, and it needs an appliance upgrade all around. The room had a weird smell as well. Again not bad but for the price I think it's a lil over priced for the features.

The only negative response I have is that the maid came to our room even though we left a "do not disturb" sign on the door. We stepped out for breakfast and were back within 1/2 hour.

We were put on the 3rd floor. We checked in late, about 12:30am. There was yelling in the hall. At about 6:30am someone was slamming doors until 10:30. I didn't here anyone talking but it seemed to me the slamming was the staff. Not a very restful sleep.

Hotel in very poor condition. Asked for a king size non smoking room and the room stunk with smoke odors tried to open closet door and it was totally off it's runners. We changed our room. Breakfast room was to small to handle the number of guests using that room. We left our I-pad charger and blackberry charger in a plug in the room. It took four phone calls to find out the hotel had our I- pad charger but not our blackberry charger which was in the same plug.the hoyel will mail it to us for a fee. Bad experience.

THe breakfast is a selling point, having the use of the indoor pool too. tHe suite with sofa bed and fridge and microwave made it affordable for a family of 5

The hotel was in very poor state of repair. Not at all what I would expect from the Comfort Inn chain. Many items broken in room and corridors had wood so worn down and bare of paint that you felt like you were going to fall through. The only positive was the breakfast was nice. Would never stay there again.

people were nice but my suite had no extra tv and the carpet was soaked from rain that somehow flowed into the room.

The rooms are very well laid out almost like a suite, which suits us perfectly as a family of 4. Kids can sleep while we watch TV down the other end of the suite. Problem was that everything was very much out of date and not maintained... Old style TVs were in the rooms and the bathrooms were not clean (bath needed resurfacing, drains did not drain and smelt bad...) Turns out that the hotel has recently been taken over and is undergoing improvements. Hopefully they take care of the basics because honestly the hotel was very nice other than the maintenance issues...

The pool was out of service and was the reason we booked there! It was a bit frustrating but hotels.com and comfort inn cooperated to refund us money for the rest of the trip.

Our stay was great. The Hotel staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. One of the hotel staff members suggested a local beach for us to visit in Long Point. We ended up going there all three days of our visit. The only downfall of our stay was that the swimming pool was closed and there was limited vending machines.

OIUtside of hotel was good. Inside was old and dingy. Room was very musty smelling as air was off in the heat of the summer. But as they say, you get what you pay for.

Good hotel and easy to get to. Will stay here again.

overall I would not recommend this hotel! What was stated as queen sized beds were pretty comfortable but what they hd labeled as a queen size sofa bed was no bigger than a small love seat. We had 4 adults staying in the one room and there was not enough places for us all to sit down!!!! 2 fit on sofa bed seat and one on the desk chair! The other big disappointment was that the big lobby was not air conditioned. They had the front and rear doors open wide letting in all the hot and humid air. Very very uncomfortable. As for the free continental breakfast it was just okay but because it was terribly hot and stuffy in there we could not stay and opted to go to an air conditioned restaurant!!!! Also we didn't know the pool was closed until we arrived. Keep in mind it was the middle of summer and 90 degree weather out. I have stayed t other choice hotels that were much better than this one.

Room was a nice size for us, a family of 5. TV's are old and we could not get HBO because of this. Girl at check in not helpful, did not explain anything. Pool was out of order our whole stay. But beds were comfortable, clean, convenient for the beach and a great price. We would stay here again.

will NEVER stay at that location again

We made a last minute reservation for a funeral. I chose this hotel over another because we wanted our kids to be able to use the pool after the services. The pool was closed--no explanation. The front desk woman didn't know how to credit my stay to my Comfort Suites account--she seemed to barely know what she was doing. Also, our bathroom water faucet broke completely. However, the room was clean & suited our needs for a 1 night stay. I wouldn't want to stay longer than that though.

This hotel is not maintained well. The hot tub was out of order. Televisions did not work or had poor cable reception. In need of TLC...

Good value for the money. Staff was friendly. Hotel could use some updating. Breakfast was good. Hotel is centrally located and close to shopping and restaurants. Beds were comfortable and room was quite large. Would stay here again.

Great front desk people so clean and huge rooms loved it here best hotel ever will deff be going back!!!!

I have stayed at Comfort Inn & Suites in the past. I booked this one to be close to my parents for Easter Morning. Me and my 3 kids stayed one night. It was not good. The rug on the room floor felt damp..I tried to feel if there was water damage but could not see any. It definitely felt damp though. The bed was hard as a ROCK - literally! The floor would have been more comfortable. There was a sofa bed, which we used, but the mattress was STAINED and dirty. We covered it with the sheets provided but there was NO extra blankets. The bathroom tub filled even though we kept hitting the drain button. Like I said, I stayed at Comfort Inn & Suites in the past but THIS ONE was really bad.

Staff was very courteous, let us check in early, which was nice after a long drive. Room was clean and comfortable and this is really all we were looking for. Only disappointment was that the next morning when I was looking forward to a soak in the hot tub I found the heater wasn't working so the water was tepid and there was an older woman with a horde of young children screaming and splashing in the hot tub and not the pool. I lasted about 5 minutes and gave up. Staff really should intervene in cases like that and ask guests to be courteous of other guests. But the breakfast was good and my kids looooved making their own belgiun waffles so I kindof forgave them. All in all, a good place to stay if you're not looking for fancy. If you want upscale there's a Double Tree next door, but I liked this price-tag much better. I'd stay again.

What a dump this place is!!! Do NOT stay or even think about booking this house of horrors. The location is the only good thing about it. The rest of this place is uninhabitable by any human being.

this is a basic hotel if your there to get some rest. Rooms are comfortable however the door to my room stuck and I would have to use force to get in. The indoor pool & hot tub were disappointing pool was very cold and hot tub felt the same temp as the pool. Breakfast is very good and beds were comfortable, like I said basic hotel you get what you pay for.

A thoroughly dilapidated property, with non functioning security door near my room, broken treadmill, and the worst breakfast selections I've ever encountered in a hotel! All in all an unpleasant experience!

Arrived 2 hr early..no room available yet..(due to christmas guests leaving )we arrived on 26th...Entrance very clean and pretty...returned after lunch..mall very close for eating and shopping..very convienient location and just off the parkway....Room was very clean and cozy..the suite was great for my grandson who had his own sofa bed and was separated from mom & grandma...the only issue we had was when you went to the pool...you had to walk out into the cold thru a garden area...so to go to the pool,,,you needed to wear your coat and shoes...otherwise our stay was great for the "great price"..I am sure if it was summer,,the price would have been 4 x the amount....I would recommend this hotel and I will now look to stay at other Comfort Inns and Suites..and the parking was free......Breakfast could have had a better assortment...
