first room air conditioner faulty. Moved to second room. Not on clean list so missed a day. Three days later, missed another day of cleaning. Breakfast was fine as was the front desk.

Very convenient if you are going to the BB&T center. They even had shuttle transportation to and from. Friendly staff, not somewhere I would go for luxury but location was convenient.

The hotel was as expected. Clean, well maintained, decent staff and very convenient location.

This LaQuinta is not in as good of shape as the one next door. I was placed in a smoking room, next to the elevator shaft and was extremely disappointed. They did move me the next day to a non-smoking room. The TV's were very nice and the location was convenient for my business trip, but I would probably not stay there again. It's my understanding it had recently undergone renovations, but I would say they are not all complete and I'm not sure the minimal upgrades were enough. Definitely not a good value for the money. At a lesser rate, perhaps it would be.

I appreciated the shuttle to go to BB&T. I found the room comfortable but could of been cleaner. There was no shower cap no alarm clock. and the bathroom fan very noisy. I don't think I would go back

My wife and I spent our anniversary here and I must say it the perfect location to get away for all the noise. Its not too close to a lot of sights but that didn't matter cause we just wanted some silence and relaxation. Other than that its a nice place

The hotel didn't have adequate space for a breakfast area. Small lobby.

I stayed at this same hotel a year and a half ago and it was in dire need of cleaning painting andrefurbishment. Everything now was upgraded and new, and smelled great and overall was very pleasant. Breakfast was a little crowded, because it is such a popular place.

We found the breakfast selection to be less than other hotels we stay in. A real problem was the size of the eating area. It was not sufficient to sit the number of guests in the room at one time.

Hotel was ok but the la Quinta next door is much nicer.

Fine for a one night stay, but not a place I'd return to if in the area again. The room had been smoked in before and my pillows and side of the bed were still infused with tobacco smoke. Mattress too firm. The small fridge and microwave were convenient touches. For the Feb. rate we paid, I've stayed in newer, nicer places with no smoke in Naples, also near a huge shopping meca, but we weren't there to shop, so I don't consider it's proximity to Sawgrass, Ft. Lauderdale or Miami a strong enough draw to return.

This is a very confusing area because there are two La Quinta's across the street from one another. I arrived late and was not sure which hotel was the correct one. The bed was old and uncomfortable. There were clear dents in the mattress where previous guests had been staying (for years). The temperature in the main areas of the hotel was uncomfortably high. I did not stay for the continental breakfast because there were not enough tables in the seating area and the temperature was unbearable. I will say that the staff was pleasant, but my overall stay was unsatisfactory for the price.

This hotel was nothing fancy, but the rooms were clean, convenient location, and great price compared to nearby hotels.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was standard size with enough space for the time we spend in it. Located near Sawgrass Mall made it great for shopping but far from the beach. The one negative was there seemed to be a musty smell in the halls which was unpleasant.

Staff was rude. I called for an early check in and was advised that it wouldn't be a problem. I got to the hotel and the clerk turned me away and told me to come back at 3:00, the regular check in time. Come on, am I supposed to believe that no rooms would be clean before 3:00? I had to call and speak to a supervisor. Miraculously, a room was made available an hour later. I would have cancelled my reservation if not for the supervisor.

Very nice staff.

Everything was fine except the coffee machine didn't work in the morning so we had to go buy coffee at the gas station

Very nice property that is kept well by the staff. Room was clean with absolutely no odor or signs of pests. Same for the bathroom- clean and no odors. Comfortable bed, nice sized TV that worked perfectly (including the cool ocean waves channel to help you sleep!). Internet is free, easily accessed, and speedy. Very close to the BB&T Center and Lester's Diner For the money paid, this is truly a great find if you don't mind crashing on the west side of Broward County. Couple of minor quibbles: Breakfast room is too small (probably because the hotel is doing so well) so there is a lot of traffic and competition for breakfast. It can be difficult to find a place to eat if you don't want to bring food back to your room. Parking is fairly tight especially if you come back late, but not terrible. The room has a really nice desk/mini conference table, but there isn't a second chair small enough to function next to the table. Despite checked in as a couple, we didn't get enough towels so next time we will ask at check-in. Lastly, keep in mind this hotel is a tad out of the way, but right by 595 so getting into Ft Lauderdale or connecting to 95 or the Turnpike is straightforward.

I stayed there just for the location. Room was smelly, sofa sleeper was ready for the trash, hotel was pet friendly but not human friendly. There was dog feces on the carpet 8 feet from my door, barking dog next door and did not see housekeeping for lenght of entire stay. Had to call several times for clean towels and a very load AC. Deluxe Suite 415 is not a suite and surely not deluxe.

The hotel is in a convenient location. It is clean and the staff is great. The free breakfast needs a little help with selection and food quality. The maintenance department needs a little help with plumbing repairs.

The staff were very friendly with the exception of one receptionist who worked the evening shift. Hotel rooms had a smokey smell, however, it appeared clean. Hotel advertised wireless internet access. This was untrue as it could only be accessed in the reception area. The hotel's location was ideal for the purpose of our stay as we only needed a comfy bed to sleep in at night as we were out all day.

2 major beefs. 1- unable to get wifi in our room had to go to lobby to hook up. 2. This was due to major renovations which were under way. Much needed. Our room was lovely but the lobby and halls were old and tired.

The room was decent. The hotel had a musty smell in hallways. There was no fridge in the room. One day housekeeping didn't finished their work in my room and left me without clean towels. The air seemed to run all the time to keep the room cool. The back area of the hotel was eerie at night - minimal lights and remote - not entirely safe feeling; although there was an entrance from there. The hotel was nice enough for my needs, but I would probably not stay again. It was a last minute booking due to an overbooking at my original hotel. Hotels.com was great with communication and accomodation of re-booking though.

The girls in the reception had a hard time trying to cover for faulty issues in the building all over such as dirty floors and not vacuumed carpets, room access locks will only read the supervisor key, the chairs at the desk are filthy, the speed or capacity of the internet service is poor and fail constantly.

we requested a non smoking room as we have an asmatic child and were given a smoking room. after calling downstairs they insisted it was non smoking,. we found two ash trays in the room. the next morning we were told that indeed it was a smoking room with no apologies. we found the staff to be very rude and unhelpful. at check in we were sent across the street to the second hotel and then told we were in fact in the first hotel. (at 11:30 p.m. with 3 kids)

We loved this Hotel, it was very well located and I loved the Bed Dressing, very nice cleand and pretty, not like most hotels on this category, The only point was that like I had to move one bed to make a big one because I have 2 little twins, the carpet was sooooooo dirty under the bed, so that means there is no clean very well after a client leaves the room. But otherwise everything was very good, definetly I would stay in a Quinta Hotel again.

Leaks - wet carpet- moldy room. Great location next to Sawgrass Mall.
