Room was just fine, nothing fancy but everything worked. The staff was pleasant. The breakfast was better than I'd expected, they had fresh bananas!

We were looking for a clean cheap place to stay. And this place was neither. We had 2 rooms and both were dirty. For example, the shower had dirt trails on the sides. Thinking it might have been a stain, I used my wash cloth and it wiped right off - YUCK! The breakfast was small with nothing hot with hard donuts. The only plus was that the location was convenient as it was off the main highway - easy to get to.

I became ill during my stay and the staff went over and above making sure I was being cared for. I can't say enough about Irene and others who made sure I was OK.

Easy check in & check out. Breakfast was satisfactory; other competitors are better (i.e. sausage/bacon; waffles, etc.)

The room was outdated and in need of a lot of repair - the ceiling was damaged and there was a crack in the door that we could see right outside. The bathroom is tiny with hardly room to shut the door unless you step in the shower first. The free breakfast offered was lacking in variety and appeal. I can't really say anything positive except the price. But you get what you pay for.

Good rates, good rooms, but could improve on free breakfast.

This is the second time we have stayed at this establishment and we were prepared with our own towels- the ones in the room are thin but the bed is comfy and our king room included a sitting area. The staff were friendly- it seems to be family run because there were small children in the office. The room was not completely clean- we found a bottle cap and a cig. butt but the bathroom area was spotless. The motel was in a prime area- close to all the attractions we wanted to visit in Hendersonville NC. I loved the price of the room but was very upset with the free breakfast. There were only doughnuts and cereal there. No danish. No bagels. We had to go to breakfast at a local resturant. Overall- I would recommend this estabishment to anyone that needs inexpensive accomidations and is not looking for alot of extras. I will go back there again.

You get what you pay for. If you just need a place to drop your things and sleep this will work. The rates are unbeatable. Their service was really not so great. When we arrived they would not give us a non smoking room even tho the non smoking room next to us was vacant our entire stay. On thanksgiving day we were locked out of our room due to a problem with the locks for a few hours. The front desk staff was unfriendly, we had problems with the locks again on Friday and the girl was quite rude. Two mornings we went down to grab some coffee (that is all the free breakfast consists of) and both times the front desk person was asleep!!! We won't be returning.

Breakfast items were not very well provided. No bananas. There was some difficulty at check in when part of the party of 3 arrived in advance however they had a copy of the confirmation showing three - they were my sisters, offered to provide their credit card to secure the prepaid room until I could arrive however they were denied access until I could be reached (I was flying in) to approve. This was clearly not my intention. Hotels.com should have made me aware that all parties should be noted on the reservation should the primary party be delayed.

Somewhat dated and worn - typical for this price range. Acceptable for a place to sleep then hit the road again.

Bathroom door wont lock in a 5 person room. They couldnt accommodate us in another room and were ready to refund out money and strand us, since it was a busy weekend. We had to manage and stay, but hotels.com took care of us for the inconvenience.

You could tell it was an older hotel that needed some remodeling. Our room was clean enough that I was comfortable sleeping in it. We had a king bed that was just way too soft so we woke up sore both mornings. Considering the price it wasn't a bad stay, but it might be worth the money to look for a better bed. .

As a 2-star hotel, this fits the bill. Pillows are lumpy, bed is sloping. But, room was clean, and it was generally quiet. However, when people walka by at night, its like they are in the room with you - there is no sound buffering. Otherwise, it was good for the money.

when we arrived we were given a room that had a real bad smokey oder (it was suppose to be a non-smoking room) the room needed some major remodling and the tv did not work. I went to the front desk and was given a new room that was cleaner with less smell and a tv that worked. the hotel just needs to be updated real bad.....and if you want breakfast just eat out at a restruant----breakfast is bad, watered down juice, weak coffee

Overall decent place to stay for the price and the help were very nice.

Stay was fine. The hotel did say that Hotels.com had reserved two rooms for us instead of one. I called hotels.com and they assured me we were charged for one room. Still waiting anxiously for the credit card bill.

Only two complaints: The light bulbs were all very dim. It was very hard to get work done. This is a silly way to save money. The room smelled musty and needs to be aired. Otherwise, everything was good.

We asked for a non-smoking room and the room stinched of smoke. We could not take a shower because the shower would not drain.

This is a good place to stay if you are on business and on a budget.Right of I-26 only 15 Miles away from downtown Ashville. Clean and comfortable stay for the price you pay.

The room itself was nice but the first night we were there we noticed a blood spot on our daughter's bed GROSS. Next night they didn't change the bedding and the other guess next door was up fighting all night. The front desk didn't do much until I called them for a second time. Over all I don't think we would stay at this hotel again.

The only negative things were, first morning the coffee was empty and we had to tell the desk. They did make more right away, but they were unaware that there was none available. There was no fruit either morning that we were there, we asked but they didn't have any.

OK. However, it would be good to have a link to other Days Inns. We asked for details of Days inns in Charleston (our next stop) and were greeted with 'not able to help'

Great motel / outstanding staff / very clean / all necessary amenities / very quiet location

I've stayed here before and It's OK for the price and convenient for my purposes.The Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner with some mildew around the floor.The free breakfast should be free as it is about as basic as you can get.

Hotel stay was fine only problem was bathtub, backing up and I told the desk clerk when we checked out.

Older facilities, not much updating done. Mirror was not cleaned and not enough towels for number of people registered. Staff friendly.

a/c poor rooms smelled of heavy cigarette smoke in non smoking room

Checking in at the desk was easy, even though I had just booked on a website just minutes earlier. Checking into the room, there was a musty smell. FYI, Room 118 at this hotel, while listed as non-smoking, is right next door to a smoking room, making it also a room that smelled like it was a smoking room. The bathroom had broken tiles and mold/dark spots on the wallpaper. Overnight, the A/C began dripping condensate into the room. We notified the morning clerk of this issue when we went up for the continental breakfast. This issue was not corrected prior to our return at 9:30pm that night and it seemed like the A/C wasn't even working, either. After requesting a room change, the night clerk wanted to know if we had told the morning clerk (did it matter?) then came to see if we were lying about the sopping wet floor. After seeing the water pooled near the entrance, Shushma left and quickly returned to give us keys to room 120. This second room was fine, except there were only 3 towels for the 4 of us, so we brought room 118 towels with us. Would not recommend this hotel, although this room was selected for its proximity to the highway and its inexpensiveness (1/2 the price of an Asheville hotel).

We will go back to this motel - the rates were very good and it was a nice clean place to stay

This was a good value for the price paid. However, I was disappointed with the tobacco smell coming from the window drapes. This was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Additionally, all corners in the bathroom were dirty. With a 5 night stay, sheets were never changed. Breakfast bar was limited.

We were asleep when room service came around to replenish towels, so when we did need them we had to wait for them to wash some. Other than that, the location and hotel was awesome!

For the price I paid I would have been happy for no bed bugs (which there weren't). The staff was friendly, the room was clean and kept well, other than the bathroom door stop busted into the wall (which you couldn't notice unless the door was closed with you in it) and the shower drain was clogged (a little more annoying). I was visiting from NJ for a friend's wedding and the price allowed me to stay a few extra days to check out the surrounding areas than had I stayed in the resort he got married at in Lake Lure...which had smaller rooms with a nicer view for over 2x the price. The continental breakfasts were unimpressive, but they did the job of filling me up til lunch, and for the price what do you really expect? Downtown Hendersonville is about 5 minutes away, and Asheville is about 20 and I-26 is right across the street along with your usual chain roadside eateries, although I much prefer the local flavor. If you're on a budget and understand it's not a luxurious four-star hotel, I definately recommend this location.

I was a little worried about the hotel, such low prices usually reflect the standard, but that was not the case here. The hotel was great, and worth every penny. Easy to get to and located in such a way it was simple to get to all the surrounding areas. It was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a standard continental breakfast, nothing fancy but it provided all that you needed. We brought our dog (50+ lbs) and we had no issues, wish there had been a little more grass areas for him, but we spent most of our time out of the hotel so it was fine. I would recommend it and we will return in the future.
