The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Checking in was a breeze with my booking on hotel.com. Rooms were clean and the pillow top bed was wonderful. Will definitely stay again.

I would have given this hotel a total of 5 very satisfied for my overall rating, BUT I paid through Hotels.com and was charged again at the hotel for my stay. Not only did they charge my card, when I went to the front desk to dispute the charges, I was assured they would refund my card, but did the exact opposite and charged me again! So I paid Hotels.com for the hotel for 1 night, AND Holiday Inn for the night, and again for another night just for the heck of it. Not a good experience with that. Luckily I called Hotels.com and they took care of everything for me. Great example of Hotels.com fixing a mess of things for me. This is why I do, and always will book through Hotels.com for any of my hotel needs.

Good price. Very nice room. Clean.

The weekend desk clerk went out of his way to be helpful. There is construction around the hotel so getting into the parking lot requires some creative driving.

This hotel was very clean and a great value. The surrounding neighborhood isn't the greatest -- it's not the Galleria area -- but it isn't bad. As a single woman, I felt very safe. Plus, the location (almost at the interection of 290W and Loop 610) is VERY convenient to downtown, the Galleria area, Reliant Center and the Medical Center. I will definitely stay there again.

Hotel and room was in good condition. The location is sort of hidden back from the main road and was difficult to find at first. My room was clean and no complaints on the service. I did get a chance to utilize the fitness room which all the equipment was in decent working order. The fitness room was a little hot and no towels.

Their wifi network was unacceptably slow. I will probably not stay there again for that reason.

The hotel was quiet we had a good nights sleep the room was clean it smell like cleaning stuff. We will return again.

This hotel is filthy, the staff was rude, and it is more of a extended stay than a hotel, they allowed someone to have a scunk in the hotel; who does that? The breakfast was under scrutiny as the kitchen attendant sttod in the door way staring at everyone without saying a word or refilling empty containers until breakfast was done!

This Hotel is by far the worst Hotel I have EVER stayed in! From the front desk help to the filthy hallways and elevator! Each night after a 10 hour work day I would arrive to my room only to find out the key didn't work; after going to the front desk 2 nights in a row I finally complained to the front desk and person and his response was "there is NOTHING we can do about it"! REALLY!!! It also appeared the staff had family members living at the hotel because they never locked their door only placed a towel in the door to keep it from closing and locking! Dogs were permitted and they urinated in the elevators & hallways; one customer had a SCUNK in the hotel as a pet... I will NEVER stay or book anyone else at this hotel as well I will pass this information along to my other business colleages!

The room smell bad because the floor was wet, the a/c was leaking.

It was close to gas station, bank, and food.

Nice looking hotel, with a pool, gym, parking, internet and breakfast included. Service was OK, hotel was clean and area is fine for a Houston stay. It takes around 20min to go downtown, but I guess it is acceptable for a big city like Houston. There is a huge supermarket in front and some fast food and casual restaurants you can walk to. Breakfast was good, but could be improved with ham, cheese, sausages or the like. Would stay there again.

The walls in the room are dirty, and it stuck outside my door. I can't believe this place has a 3.9 rating. I would give it between 1 and 2.

Was easy access to highway. It was hard to find at night. Behind other places. Very friendly check in staff even when we got there @ 10 pm. Parking lot was well lit.

I pick this hotel because was one of the only one available for my 4 days stay in the area. I arrive, they gave me the card key for the room; I went to the room and the room smell like sweat, trash can had trash on and the bathroom had new towel and soap, but also have the used soap and shampoo from somebody and hair all over the shower. I went down ask for another room. Second room was a little better, but the housekeeping left their cleaning supplies in the room. This is been the worst experience I had in any La Quinta Hotel. Next time going to Houston if that is the only hotel I prefer to stay in my car in a rest area.

The hotel was a great bargain. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Check in was the fastest I ever experienced. The room was basic but was exactly what I booked. The room was clean but the carpet could use a shampooing and the bathroom walls need to be whipped down. Other than that it was convenient, close to the highway, and the neighborhood had a lot of eating and shopping places close.

Nice hotel great location especially because its close to Barnabys Family Inn Best Pizza Chicago Style.

Hotel was clean, staff friendly, furniture worn but suitable and effective, bed very comfortable. Hotel was close to the Houston Heights area with easy freeway access. Lots of retail nearby including large Randall's grocery store.

it needed a refrigerator for the room , apart from that it was nice and comfortable.

The employees were nice and very helpful. I booked a smokers room on accident and they were able to switch me to a much better room with no hassle. Rooms were clean, also a plus, but my only concern was the surrounding neighborhoods. I'm very paranoid about those things, but everything went good.

We were thinking about cancelling our trip, because we could not leave our Dog at home overnight outside (It was going to be close to freezing at our home). When calling to cancel the front desk let us know that they were per friendly, and they welcomed our Lab with open arms..I will be staying with them again in the future. Lots of restaurants by their location & easy access to the freeway was also a plus.

a nice place to stay , convenient location i just wish they would have other choices for breakfast bacons and sausage perhaps? otherwise ok !

Hotel was fine, room was clean and confortable. Check in was not fun because it took 20 for the clerk to surface from the back room, I think he was sleeping. However very good value, willl stay again if I need to stay in that area of Houston again.

Still right off the highway and close to lots of stores, restaurants, and gas stations. My room was great, except there was a slight "moldy/humid" smell, more than likely induced by the AC. Otherwise it was in very good repair, spacious, and had a nice flat screen TV. The staff was very friendly, and there was plenty of parking. I would probably stay here again if ever I'm in the same area.

Clean hotel and friendly staff. I would stay at this hotel again.

wouldn't send my wife to stay there alone

I was very pleased with the room. The service was great any needs were taken care of imediately. The breakfast was very good.

We had a wonderful stay and greatly enjoyed being able to bring our dog with us. The rooms were very clean, plenty of grassy areas to walk our dog and quiet neighborhood. Friendly and helpful staff...definitely recommend!!

I should have spent some time to look for better options. There was only only one lamp working and room service didnt service the room completely. Breakfast was over before time. Courtesy was missing..
