Hotel staff were not helpful, fire alarms went off, had to go to front desk for extra blankets

Great Place to stay, good location, very clean, good price , I'll be back!

The rooms were very clean, the staff was very nice. it's just a basic hotel room, nothing fancy. The beds are really uncomfortable though, woke up with a backache every morning. The odd numbered rooms face the south and the freeway. The air conditioner/heater drowned it out, but if you're sensitive to that, ask for an even numbered room on the north side.

Hotel was conveniently located to the interstate so Beloit was just a 10 to 15 minute drive south. Plenty of shopping and restaurants 5 mins north (one exit north) in Janesville. Room wasn't luxurious but it was clean and comfortable. Staff was very nice and helpful. Continental breakfast was okay, but Denny's is next door for those who want good breakfast. Substantially cheaper than the other hotels just one exit up the interstate in Janesville.

Cold pool. Hot tub jets didn't work.

Good location, just off the interstate; close to restaurants, very nice room; very accommodating for our dog wiuth a first floor room close to a hotel exit so the dog could be exercised very easily.

Very disappointing experience more so than anything to specifically do with the hotel. Adjoining room was loud from start to finish. Despite numerous attempts by the hotel staff nothing could be done to quiet the other room. Finally moved my two children to a different room at the opposite end of the hall at 12:30 in the morning after my patience finally ran out. Less than 10 vehicles in the parking lot all weekend so extremely disappointed that they chose to put us in one small area of the hotel when there were four levels to choose from. Was told that a manager would be calling me regarding my stay but I'm going on day 3 without a call. Will not be returning to this hotel again.

Our stay was fine until we heard the barking dog next door. When we got up that morning the barking was going on and on, I called the front desk and asked if she could find the owner and have them quiet the dog and she laughed at me. I'm glad she found my concern amusing because I didn't find the bothersome dog barking amusing. Will not stay at this hotel again. I feel that was very rude.

Staff was extremely accommodating. Rooms are clean, the stay was quiet, even though I have an odd sleeping schedule and had an entire hockey team as neighbors! The pool is small, but warm and clean, not conducive to exercise, but a pool none the less! I would stay here again.

Very nice rooms and the pool and hot tub were nice. Service was excellent and breakfast had a good variety.

I,m hot and cold with this Baymonot hotel. Updates are being done, but couldn't really tell if our room was on that was totally completed. Was just a little disappointed with this stay. BUT the on the other hand, the price is good, it's not in the mess of traffic that other Janesville hotels are, there's a Dennys right next door and for a one night stay it did it's job.

The personel are very friendly and the room very comfortable, esp. for the price. One suggestion-it would be nice for us older folks to have the refrigerator on a stand or such instead of the floor-hard to get to. Above-"Title etc." last word is to state "near"

Overall stay was disappointing. The room was dirty. The recliner was absolutely filthy. You couldn't sit in it and it smelled. Having stayed for 5 days, this was terrible. I won't be returning to this hotel, ever.

The mattress/box spring on our bed needed replacing. Otherwise eveything was great.

The room we were assigned was right by the stairwell, so we could hear every drunk softball player going up and down. Which was great since we had two kids under the age of two. If you also discount the big red stain on the carpet, the missing remote control and no plug in the bathtub for giving kids a bath after swimming then it was a good experience. The front desk and staff was excellent and the breakfast is kid agreeable. Just ask for a different room that what will originally be given to you if booked through a website other than the hotel's.

noisy ceiling fan, towel rack fell apart, refrigerator needed to be defrosted.

It was the perfect stop to rest and relax after a long day of driving. It is a quiet, serene yet accessible hotel. We would come back definitely.

was mostly there to sleep but things were neat nice people no complaints for us

We were very happy with our (mini-vacation) at the Baymont Inn. The staff was most helpful-the Complimentary breakfasts were great. They are in the midst of updating-the room walls need attention, but probably are on their "bucket list" next. Room was most comfortable and "friendly". Will be staying their on our next visit in Jansville.

Air conditioning in our room was cold, but with a definite mold smell. We were afraid of breathing the air all night, so we slept with the window open, and the unit off. Other rooms smelled the same. On a positive note, the staff was flexible about pool/jacuzzi hours, which was great for our children. Very friendly staff.

Hotel is going thru a much needed update of carpets, painting and remodeling of the rooms. Not all complete yet, but sure is alot nicer than it use to be. I really like this Baymont, close to all things in Janesville but not in the mess of traffic that other hotels are. And prices are great.

Not luxury, but clean and comfortable.

We had a wedding 25 miles away at 6:30 p.m., so we arrived at 3:30 p.m., after the 3:00 p.m. time when we were suppose to be able to check in. The clerk was on his cell phone with his girlfriend. When he finally acknowledged us, he informed us that our rooms were not ready yet. We had to wait 15-20 minutes in the lobby. We went up to our room by 4 p.m. There were dirty towels on the floor and trash in the trash cans. The sheets on the beds had not been changed and the beds was unmade. The room was not even on housekeeping's list to be cleaned. We waited in the hallway another hour for the room to be cleaned. Because of the delay, we were unable to meet with other family members for dinner, prior to the ceremony. The room was in need of repair. The fixtures were old and we were afraid that we would break the faucet. This whole experience was not what we have experienced in the past with other Baymont Inns and Suites. We were very dissappointed.

hotel appeared to be going through some renovations, but they appeared to be taking a long time and not a lot of activity being done. Was hoping for a bit more updated room, shower, etc....

ENJOYED FACILITY, GOOD LOCATION CLOSE TO FREEWAY, CLOSE TO RESTAURANTS AND SHOPPING

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a big crack in the corner of the ceiling and the chair in the room was definitely NOT part of the remodel that they did last year, it was really gross. But, there was free internet and breakfast in the morning so I would probably stay there again.

Our stay was fine except for the noise later into the nite..The woman on duty was exceptionally kind and breakfast was good

satisfactory for our 1 night as we traveled to MN we loved the waffles for breakfast and two of us used the work out room and the pool

the pool area was very dirty

It was the typical Baymont experience but I downgraded it based on the amount of maintenance that was going on at the hotel, the jacuzzi not working, and issues with the public computer in the lobby.

The last Baymont I stayed in had fantastic beds, though the rooms were dusty. This Baymont was clean with friendly, helpful staff ... but the bed was no where near the quality and comfort of the other one. I'm a frugal hotelista, so when I shop for hotels I want a reasonable rate, safe location and comfy bed. I often end up with the first two, and the bed is usually a box with a few springs inside it. This bed was better than that but not by much. I didn't use the pool, so I can't comment on that. The breakfast was pretty decent--make-your-own-waffles, oatmeal, folded eggs you heat up, donuts, juice, some fruit, yogurt. The hotel was under some construction but wasn't dirty or it. It was basically off the interstate, so nicely accessible. It's also right next to a Denny's.

Friendly, clean, comfortable. When in Janesville, I'll stay again.

Would have been nice to know that it was in the process of being renovated. The carpeting in the hallways and especially the the stairwells was dirty and had paint spilled all over it. Not the most appealing to to thru on the way to our room. But the rooms were comfortable.
