The Morgan - דבלין

מלון "The Morgan" היה מלון יפה לשהות בו. המיקום היה מושלם היות וזה היה קרוב ל"Temple Bar" ואתרים אחרים שחובה לראות. המלון היה מאד נוח אבל יכול לעבור שיפוצים. יש לו תפאורה אופנתית מאד. אולם הייתי רוצה שיהיה קצת יותר נקי כיאה למלון. הבר במלון היה יתרון, אולם זה נהיה מאד עמוס ורועש. ישנם זרים המסתובבים שם, הגורמים לי להרגיש מעט חוסר בטיחות.

המלון באמצע "Temple Bar" ובקרבת מקום לרוב מרכז העיר של דבלין. מעולה בשביל חוויות תיירות או קפיצות לברים בערב. ישנו מועדון לילה פופולרי במלון עם "Eurorock" רועש המועדף על ידי בוגרים צעירים אבל רוב החדרים מוגנים היטב מפני רעש זה. החדרים נקיים ומרווחים בשביל מלון אירופאי. צוות ידידותי.

המלון - מלון נחמד ביותר. תפאורה נהדרת, ומוגמרת ברמה גבוהה. עוד יותר טוב בבר קוקטייל במקום המכין קוקטייל מאד טעים, אכן מעט יקר, אבל כך זה בכל דבלין! שירות - הגענו מוקדם ביומנו הראשון, ועל אף שחדרנו לא היה מוכן בזמן זה, הצוות היה מוכן לקחת את מזוודותינו, ולהפנותינו לכל אתרי התיירות בתוככי דבלין. חזרנו למלון שעה לאחר מכן, ועדיין היה מוקדם למדי מזמן הצ'ק אין, והצוות עשה כל אשר ביכולתו להכין את חדרנו בשבילנו, ולקחו את מזוודותינו לחדרנו, מה שריגש אותנו מעט. החדר, חדר נחמד, גדול, מאוורר ונקי. העיצוב של החדר היה נהדר, והתוספות, כגון הטואלטיקה של חברת White שניתנה חינם, היו עוד יותר טובות. הבעיה היחידה הייתה שהחדר היה בקדמת המלון, שהיה מאד רועש לאור העובדה שהמלון היה ב Temple Bar. אם מזדמן לכם, תבקשו חדר בחלק האחורי! המיקום - מיקום נהדר, בדיוק במרכז הכל. בדיוק ב Temple Bar 10 דקות הליכה למחסן של "Guinness" שיוביל אתכם מעבר למצודת דבלין וכנסיית Christ, הליכה בת 2 דקות לTrinity College, ומרכזי הקניות הנהדרים בכל מקום. בסך הכל, שהיה מאד מהנה!

המלון יפה במיקום טוב אבל בפעם האחרונה היה לי חדר בחלק האחורי של המלון והיו הרבה מאד רעשים מבחוץ עד 4 לפנות בוקר. לא יכולתי לישון. אחד מהחלונות לא נסגר ב- 100% מה שהחמיר את הקולות עוד יותר. התלוננתי בבוקר הראשון אבל זה לא תוקן במשך יומיים!

שהינו במלון זה במשך חגיגות יום פטריק הקדוש. צפינו לשמוע רעש הרבה אחרי חצות הלילה, ואכן שמענו. ארוחת הבוקר הייתה טובה ובמחיר סביר. שתינו משקאות בבר פעמיים, והמוזגים היו יעילים וידידותיים. הופתעתי לטובה לקבל מיטה כה נוחה. בסך הכל, הייתי אומר שהמלון היה נקי והצוות היה מאד ידידותי ומועיל.

המלון היה ממוקם במקום נהדר. החדר היה חמוד אבל קטן מאד, כמו שציפינו ממלון אירופאי. מה שלא ציפינו לו היה שהם גובים כסף על כל דבר. לא היו שום שירותים חינם כלל, על אף ששלמנו הרבה על השהיה שם. ארוחת הבוקר הייתה דלה! זה היה מזנון ארוחת בוקר אירית מלאה. כל מגשי האוכל היו ריקים או שהאוכל היה ישן. לא צריך לומר שאכלנו במקום אחר. אנו אנשים שמאד קל לרצות, אבל מלון זה השאיר אותנו בהרגשה שהיינו צריכים להזמין במקום אחר. אם הינכם שוהים כאן תצפה להשתמש במיטה וזהו. הם יגבו ממכם כסף על כל דבר אחר.

נהנינו מהשהייה שלנו, האנשים בקבלה היו מאד מועילים. החסרון היחיד היה שהמלון היה זקוק לקצת טיפול, הקישוט היה זקוק לרענון. החדר היה מאד נקי ונוח.

נקי/נח והצוות כשהיגענו היה ידידותי. לא יכול היה להיות יותר מרכזי והמחיר של החדר היה הוגן. הלובי, אולם, אינו מרשים למרות שלמען הצדק השטח שלהם צפוף לעשות כל מה שביכלתם. המיטה הכפולה הייתה מחולקת באמצע, זהו דבר שלא הייתי מצפה ממלון 3/4 כוכבים מרכזי. הריפוד שעל הכסאות היה זקוק למבט חטוף. בימינו, לכל אורח צריך שיהיה wi-fi בחינם. הבר היה סביר למרות שהמחירים של הקוקטיילים היו מעל ומעבר ממה שהיית משלם בכל מקום אחר בדובלין, והם גם לא משהו מיוחד. באופן כללי, זה בסדר, מחיר הוגן, ואין תלונות רציניות.

מלון נהדר אבל אנו היינו בקומה הראשונה בחדר הפונה לרחוב והיה רעש כל הלילה.

הצוות מאד מועילים. החסרון היחיד היה שהחדר היה הרבה יותר קטן ממה שמראה התמונה. בעצם, חדר מאד קטן...

we stayed in your hotel think room number 402 and we were very disapointed with our stay. The room was so small and very cramped. We asked to be moved but as we were staying for two nights this was not possible. The price we paid did not reflect the room we got. We will not stay again.

We knowingly selected this hotel for its proximity to the Temple Bar area. Despite being in the midst of the action, it was plenty quiet on the top floor. The only significant drawback was the size of the room and the bathroom. It was so tiny that we barely he anywhere to place our bags and still move in the room. The staff were very helpful and professional and gave good dinner suggestions.

This was our second time at The Morgan & although we have encountered a few snags , so to speak ( in November , we had 2 strangers walking about our bedroom at 2am as the locking system / key card was obsolete and we were above the disco . In March , our room safe had to be replaced . On both times I spoke to reception they couldn't have been more professional , on both occasions offering room change ! Wasn't necessary as all we wanted was a change of lock & safe . We're so courteous & helpful , we tend not to make a mountain out of a molehill anyhow . Out of courtesy we were shown the penthouse and PROMISED huge discount should we wish to book it . We also received complimentary drinks . The Morgan is a lovely hotel and will definitely be back soon . We travel to Dublin often and our preference is definitely The Morgan . Thank You again

Not really 4 star but good location for city

Very nice hotel with shopping and major pubs within walking distance. Friendly staff; we were recommended an upgrade at a small extra cost on the more quiet side of the hotel - later on during the night we understood why... The lounge bar of the Morgan turned out to be a very loud in-spot in Dublin along a very busy and noisy street. But we slept peacefully.

We have stayed at the Morgan a number of times in the last year - yet again we had another great stay! Keep it up Morgan staff!

Unfortunately this hotel did not come up to the standard I was expecting, while the staff were excellent I was located in a room where I could not open the windows and which had a permanent light shade in front of them I was also supplied with ear plugs as it is located in a rather loud part of Dublin.

Second visit in six months ,even better this time .upgraded to junior suite , heaven,perfect location for our needs,,music ,drink and food ,can't wait to go back BIG AL GROOMSPORT,

Very clean and modern hotel. Right on Temple Bar so very close to bars, resturants, shops and public transport links.

First off, the clash of kitsch and art does look amazing. Staff is extremely friendly. What i did not expect from a 4-star hotel were the black stuff sticking to the ceiling, the stains on the wall, the stained window drapes or finding several ahirs in my bathroom. Getting woken up by the window cleaners before breakfast time was over also does not help how i feel about this hotel.

First stay in The Morgan and my wife & I were impressed. Super central location & near great cafes, bars & restaurants- Go to Elephant & Caste for brunch just down the street.

We were looking forward to our stay in this hotel. the room was nice to look at but was incredibly disappointing. The 'double' bed was two single mattresses pushed together, not even zipped. which made for the most uncomfortable nights sleep we ever had. The next day our shower didn't work, it wouldn't drain and there was dirt floating in the water. Would not stay here again.

Excellent location for access to bars and resturants in temple bar, short distance to shops on grafton and o'connell street. We were given a suite, which included kitchen and living room area, excellent room.

Lovely hotel, with great service. Unfortunately could hear a lot of loud water gurgling sounds constantantly from early in the morning, not sure if it was the bathroom upstairs or we were located under the water tank serving the entire hotel. Also the live band at the bar next door supplied the entertainment until the small hours of the morning whether it was wanted or not!

Very convenient location, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful room, not at all noisy in spite of overlooking a very busy street. The pashmina on the chair is a lovely touch, but sadly I had no time for lounging...

Had the best time at the Morgan could not fault it... Love the atomosphere of the bar... Eery thing about this place is amazing... We will be returning again for sure!! 10/10. We stayed in the penthouse here and it is out of this world..

Loved the area and pubs ( apart from the Oliver SJG which had a creepy singer ). Baggot Inn, Doheny & Nesbitts and O' Donoghue's are great to go to for more of a local flavour

all good except bar prices and water in room tiny bottle 3 euros that's all.

Too far from o2. Hotel was very funky and stylish. More for younger people. Disappointed that breakfast was extra pp. would stay here again.

The hotel room was damaged & tired. The worst hotel I have stayed in in Dublin and I go to Dublin at least 5 times a year! Poor check in expetience Damaged furniture dirty bathroom poor check out experience. I would never recommend this hotel or re visit it. All the receptionist could say was. " o and that was our deluxe room" thank goodness I didn't have a standard in that case..

Great location with very friendly and helpful reception staff. Rooms are small bu very well laid out and t have every convenience required for overnight stay. I have stayed previously, will stay again and will definitely recommend to my friends.

Chose because it was at the heart of the city centre and thought it would appeal to the two 20somethings in our party of six. Was perfect, fun and eclectically styled public areas and comfortable, simply dressed, en-suite bedrooms. Late entertainment in the bar for those that want it and couldn't be more convenient for Temple Bar attractions, ideal for those who are looking for a fun night out, but maybe not for anyone wanting a quiet, early night. Parking is expensive, but close and discounted for hotel guests. Loved the decor, and bed was uber comfy. Would happily go back again, highly recommended.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, although one of our rooms was immediately above the bar & was extrremely noisy on 'bongo' night.

I spent three nights here over Thanksgiving. The location is great - very central but with the location comes weekend noise (no fault of the hotel). The chair in my room was ripped but otherwise clean room. The king bed was two twins that had a tendency to drift. The staff was wonderful - I arrived from the US at 5:30 AM and my room was not ready so they put me in a twin room to catch some zzzz's. SOOOOOO APPRECIATED! Overall, a good hotel.

Beds were a little small and basic. Room itself was adequate size. TV and interactive facilities are dated and could do with upgrading. Having said that, the service was top notch and you can't beat the location for a weekend in Dublin - its also next door to Palace bar which has best Guinness in Dublin! I would recommend and stay again myself.

Great location for a tourist. Hotel has a nice modern style in general but is slightly inconsistent. The hallways and doors don't match the furnishings. I got the lowest room with the double bed which I may not do again as the two single beds pushed up against each other is just not a good experience. Also the lowest rooms don't contain that tub they like to show off in their pictures.

I was very pleased with the hotel. Location is wonderful. The noise level a bit high but expected because of the location. The only suggestion would be a nice desk lamp oto assist in reading. Staff great. The breakfast was lacking. Not much variety, eggs overcooked. But, all in all, a very pleasant stay.
