We were very disappointed the outlet the fridgerator and the microwave was plugged into did not work the bathtub was chipped and not clean desk clerk was ride there were people Running all over and yelling all night the one of the blankets was ripped and full of holes it was a very bad experience also the pool and spa was not working

Overall this hotel was a dirty smelly dump

The breakfast area hadn't been cleaned in a very long time.

Out of the main town area which was good due to no traffic. It was a good nights stay overall despite the pool n Jacuzzi was closed. I asked for extra pillows which they brought promptly. The continental breakfast was ok, normal with cereal, fruit,coffee, juice. bread/ muffins. Will Probly stay again if the rates are the same. It was quiet for a weekend.

No internet...this was for me the worst. I take classes online, train in the area and must maintain contact with work through emails for assistance. Had absoultely no access to internet. It advertises internet, yet none in the room, not even the lobby area. Every time I stayed there room would lock me out on second day, having to go down to the desk every day to be rekeyed is frustrating, especially after working and coming in late. Advertises pool and spa, never working or open, always closed. No, I do not intend to stay there again.

The bed was too firm

The hotel was satisfactory but the management failed to keep an eye on what was going on in the place. We had a neighboring room where they went in and out of the room via the window and doing who knows what in the parking lot. They apparently didn't care what was going on in their security camera if they were even turned on.

Spent little time there, but t was combortable and away from the noise of the rail traffic.

Average service & facilities for this price range, but they really need to put some decent blankets on the bed - the one I had was just about falling apart.

We've been through Gallup many times crossing the country each winter, and this is absolutely the best place to stay, simply due to its distance from the train tracks. If you've stayed in Gallup you know the tracks run right through the heart of town and trains can be heard through the night. The Travelodge is a bit further removed. Add to that the friendly staff, clean digs, and comfy room, and it tends to end up being the highlight of the hotel stays on our trip. Thanks to everyone at Gallup Travelodge...again!

If I didn't have to get a state government rate for my business travel, I would have stayed somewhere else.

The hotel was ok for an affordable price. It needs a little renovation. The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again. The service was excellent! I got there to check in a little after 7 pm and no hassle. Just had to sign an already printed registration and got my key! I would stay here again on my next trip!

Your basic motel, nothing fancy. No elevator to second floor. Good for the price if you're just looking to crash for the night.

There was no pool and the hallways smelled like cigarette smoke.

The continental breakfast on the morning we left consisted of cereal, toast, and coffee as well as some rubbery jelly. Very disappointing!

I was very disappointed in the hotel. My toilet had a leak and the free breakfast was horrible.

Lousy, impersonal check-in, disgusting in-door pool with green slime and bubbles in it, room dirty with many stains on carpet and bathroom not clean. Very limited breakfast. Not close to anything. Wouldn't stay again

I wasn't happy about not having internet. I use the hotel often and keep hoping they will get internet since they do advertise it. You can go to the main lobby and be able to log in, but if you're on business, who wants to get dressed and go to the main lobby everytime you need to log on?

We were overall satisfied, it was a good experience. Unfortunately the pool was under repair, but we arrived too late to use it. We found dog hair on one bed, one room was a bit less sterol compared to the other room in regards to smells; we rented two rooms.

Should have expected what we got at that price. The young man at the front desk was very polite and helpful however the place was not clean. Looked like they just straightened up after the last guests. In passing through Gallup on the way home, we did not even consider staying here. I can handle a hotel that needs some updating but this one needs a deep, deep cleaning and a housekeeping staff that knows how to prepare a room for new guests.

It's not too fancy, but you get what you pay for. It satisfied us for what we needed it for - being one night while we were undertaking our road trip. Places for dinner were within driving distance. The room was old and clearly wasn't used very often. Linens and towels were a bit tired. Also had to prompt the checkin girl about breakfast, internet details, etc...

Five miles from town. Can see all sights within a five minute drive. Hotel staff is always courteous and polite, friendly, wlling to help in any way they can. They really try to accomodate. My only complaint would be no internet service in any of the back rooms, however, you can go to hotel lobby for free internet access. Just a little inconvenient. Draperies, towels, rags, bedspreads, etc. need replacing. For the price and the convenience of the location, you can not go wrong.

It was okay. The desk clerk was outstanding!! It looked better on the outside than the rooms did on the inside. Would not stay there again.

During our drive from California to Texas we needed a hotel that was rounghly the 1/2 way point in our journey. The room was clean, bed was comfy & firm - we loved it!! The pool was closed - but we weren't there to swim. The breakfast in the morning was not very inviting but we did show up towards the end of the time period & most stuff was gone. Hotel was in a good location just off Highway 40. Had parking for larger cars towing uhauls/trailers. People complained in other reviews about the train wistle/noise. We never heard a train - not during the day or at night. You're about 5-7 miles from Safeway and many food options. Yes there are better hotels to stay at in "better" areas - but you will spend a lot more. This hotel is nothing more than just a place to put your head for the night to recharge - get a good shower & get back on the road. So if you are looking for more, than this is not the hotel for you.

We had to put off our stay for a week due to bad weather. Had no problem what ever. We were very satisfied with our stay. Thanks!

Made the reservation at this hotel specifically to use the pool and hot tub, neither worked, and no one could tell us why, or seemed interested in explaining.

THE HOTEL WAS DIRTY. THE POOL WAS NOT APPEALING AND THE BREAKFAST WAS JUST AWFUL THE BREAD WAS STALE AND YOU COULD NOT USE THE JAMS OR BUTTER BECAUSE THEY WERE OLD AND SOLIDFIED. WOULD NOTG RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL

Nice indoor pool & spa. Average room. Clean

Very basic and works for 1 night. About 5 miles to downtown Gallup where they have good restaurants.

We were very disappointed as we were expecting that being a 2 star hotel, would live up to our expectations----NOT!! The room was not clean, there was a spider in the bathroom, the shower was cold, some kid pulled the fire alarm at 7:30 am, the cops came and took a woman away, and the continental breakfast was certainly not as good as we had come to expect on our month holiday.

I would not recommend this hotel. The smoke alarm was not working (the batteries had been removed). The linens were worn and the pillows were as flat as a pancake. Carpet was dirty and the wallpaper was peeling. Furniture was coming apart. The lighting was poor. Long black hair in tub (neither of us have black hair). We will not stay in a Travelodge again.

For what I needed it for it was a good stay. Short drive to stores and food. I'd stay here again.

Room was clean, they let me check in early...only issue was the noise of the side entrance door and guests coming up the stairs. Don't get room 206 .

Evening staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is close to highway, restaurants, and shopping. We were there during an unexpected snow storm and walkways and the driveway were not cleared very well.

Staff was not friendly and did not accomodate multiple requests for a downstairs room for a 3-4 day stay. No elevator and no assistance.
