Embassy Suites Dallas - Near the Galleria - דאלאס

The refrigerator was not functional. My wife is diabetic so we needed a room with a refrigerator for her insulin. Next time we will request one that works. The TV also did not function well. Though we complained and was told that someone repair these problems. No one came and the problems persisted until our departure 4 days later.

Very pleasant lobby, the swans were gorgeous! Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, especially the made to order omelet.

I would recommend everyone stay at this hotel at least once and you will probably stay again. This hotel has a beautiful lobby and main floor with the live Royal Swans displaying their beauty. The rooms are ample, clean and well maintained. In the morning, we were greeted by the wonderful smells of the breakfast buffet.

My boyfriend and I stayed here with our two children. Shantel, the front desk operator went out of her way to meet our every request. She made us smile and had great recommendations for family fun. Our room was clean and the pool was warm and clean as well. We ordered late room service, it was promptly delivered and tasted great. We will definitely stay here again!

Quiet, clean and great place to stay near Galleria. Stayed three nights and enjoyed the hotel.

Stayed for 4 nights. Loved it. Very very nice staff. Great breakfast buffett. It was very busy due to spring break but staff handled it great!!!

This hotel is well kept. The staff was friendly and the buffet was great! The hotel was near exits and a the galleria mall! Great choice!

For my first time in Dallas, very nice comfortable, great kitchen, and nice selection of wines. I was a little shocked at the tax ad-ons and local fees, but i had a great stay.

It was close to everything you need. Rooms were clean & the people were very friendly. Would stay there again.

WAS DISAPOINTED I HAD TO PAY FOR WIFI, EVERY HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT HAD FREE WI-FI, ALSO ROOM HAD A SLEEPERSOFA INSTEAD OF A REAL BED

We were at the hotel two nights and I have nothing bad to say at all. The managers reception was very nice. Breakfast was very good. The bed was soft and clean. It was a great experience. If I had to find a problem, I'd say the pillows were too small, but there's a Bed Bath and Beyond around the corner; problem solved. We will be back

The lady at the check in was friendly but hardly communicated with me about what room might be best from what she had available. I went back to her twice to change rooms to what worked for us. She seemed annoyed by that but had she communicated better, I wouldn't have had to come back the last time. The room was very comfortable and clean just like usual in an Embassy, that's what I love about them. Managers Reception was great! Breakfast was not as good as I thought it would be, the omelette station was wonderful but the sausage was barely cooked and the bacon burned with every batch they brought out. I had expected a little bit more of the Embassy Galleria location as far as the breakfast but all in all we had a very comfortable stay and got a good price on the room.

We were a group of 6 rooms for 3 nights, Thanksgiving weekend. My niece checked in First, and asked if her mom could be next door to her to help with her twins- they told her the closest they could put her was 2 rooms away. I checked in 2 hours later, and 2 of my 4 rooms were next door to my niece. No one had any special bed or floor level requests, so there was no reason her mom could not have had one of those rooms since i had not checked in yet.I had requested that 2 of my rooms be interleading - when they could not honor this request at checkin, they told me that all room requests were not guaranteed, they are merely requests. There was a 2 bed and king combo with interleaving door available, but I could not have it because all the 2 bed rooms had been booked. Well, if " booking" is merely a request, and not guaranteed, how come I could not get one of these rooms that people had not yet checked into? I was happy to take that combo. It was TG and people come in families to have a special time, try to be accommodating. The rooms were standard Embassy Suite rooms, great beds and clean. HOWEVER, 3 of our 6 rooms went unmade on TG day. Inexcusable ! 3 rooms. We got back too late for them to come and make up! Breakfast... .....the food on the buffet was cold every day. If you wanted hot food you had to order ...... And you get 3 strips of bacon one time only!!!!! Last yr we had 2 rooms unmade!

I have stayed at this hotel for many years and I am pleased to report an upgrade to furniture and decor in the guest rooms since my last visit in 2010. Our one year old daughter was in dire need of a nap Saturday afternoon and we were graciously allowed to check in one hour early. Plus, the crib I had requested was all ready to go in the room! Service at the managers reception and at breakfast was first rate! Food was even more delicious than i recalled. We will never stay anywhere else in Dallas.

I couldn't have asked for anything more...and the stay exceeded my expectations. Front desk staff were over and beyond helpful. I loved the swans and the atrium! Perfect time away!

Clean room, great amenities, especially free drink at happy hour and great breakfast!!

The hotel was great. Breakfast was good with the cook cooking your meal in front of you. The location was excellent, within walking distance of the Galleria. The only complaint that I have is the air conditioner was kind of weird, it was cool in the room but not cold like I like it so I turned the air down to 68 and sure enough it kicked on but never really got any cooler. When the thermostat turned it off even though it wasn't any cooler I turned it down more but it would never kick on. I battled with it for the two nights I was there, to no avail, it felt like it was about 73 the whole time. Other than that great hotel,great service, and I would recommend it to anyone. On a personal note thank you Charity for making our stay even more pleasant.

I enjoyed the size of the hotel. it was very comfortable. The engineer at this hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. His name is Blair.

We enjoyed our stay; however, I was disturbed by the swans in the hotel lobby. Although they looked well cared for, their space was very limited not to mention all the little kiddies screaming at them. Please consider releasing these beautiful birds to a zoo or botanical garden. Other than that, we loved the hotel.

I have stayed here before and this time our room was terrible. The doors to the restroom and bedroom would not shut. The bathroom was dirty. The water in the lobby was always empty. Disappointed since i have stayed there before. Close to the mall though and the bfast was great. Shuttle service was great too

Hotel was great and close to shopping.

Though there were bright spots here and there (mostly from individual staff members), I was pretty unhappy with my stay. Despite booking and prepaying for a specific room type, the hotel refused to honor my booking or to offer any sort of accommodation. The front desk clerk was noticeably unhappy with my displeasure. And her manager could have cared less! Our room was made up only once during our three-night stay. Apparently it was reported back that we had our "Do Not Disturb" sign up. Too bad we didn't even have one in the room. Overall, the room was nice - spacious and clean. However, the furniture was worn and had some sharp metal edges that scratched us. I could go on, but why? The only saving grace on the whole stay was hotels.com, who seemed happy to bend over backward to make it better for us. Save yourself a headache, there is a nicer place right down the street!

Our overnight stay Mothers Day Weekend...I choose this hotel b/c of the convience near Galleria mall and seperate bedroom. (King floor plan) We celebrated my daughters 9th birthday with a spa/sleepover (FUN) with a few girlfriends and had planned a luncheon at American Girl for the next day also. Overall are stay at the hotel was great. Employees/staff were very courteous. The room was clean and bed super comfy!! Had a few problems with the commode getting stopped up =\ more than once!! Matinence fixed first time, second time around I was handed a Plunger!!!! I think girls kept putting to much TP! LOl The girls ages 7-9yrs loved the Royal Swans and enjoyed the indoor pool as well. I myself enjoyed the HH at the bar & breakfast cooked to order. My daughter had a wonderful time and was satisfied ; ) I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again in the near future : )

The front desk staff was less than helpful upon my checkin. I came in carrying 4 bags and a toddler and requested a cart to be told they didn't know where there were any and they didn't offer to find one. Our hotel room had multiple paint patches and they were totally different paint colors so it was like a polka dot room. Carpet was dirty, not sure if it had been vacuumed or not. We enjoyed the swans.

I usually like Embassy Suites. I haven't stayed in one in years though. This one I would not recommend due to the state of condition that the hotel is in. No vents of other in the bath rooms. My kids and I all got scrapes and cuts from the hot tub. Not a place you want to take the kids to go swimming. Other than that, everything else was fine. And yes, drinks are free during happy hour. However, school house rules apply, beggars can't be choosers.

We loved our stay at this hotel. There was a fabulous breakfast and really cute live swans to watch while you eat. It was really close to the mall and other shopping. It was also close to highways which gave us quick access to the entire city. I will try to stay here every time I visit Dallas.

We stayed at Embassy Suites for a girls weekend and a visit to the American Girl store. It was perfect! The girls swam in the indoor pool while moms enjoyed a complimentary cocktail and munchies. In the morning, we had cooked to order omelets, pancakes, bacon, cereal, etc. The girls loved feeding the swans in the morning. It was a definite highlight. There was some sort of error with our reservation. I had requested a suite with two double beds. When we got to the hotel, we were informed of the error, but they offered us two connecting suites with king beds. It was the best mistake ever!

I usually go to the Dallas Central location but choose this one for a change. I was disappointed because the spa tub was out of order and the reception did not seem to want to accomodate me for this. The room was beautiful as all embassy suites rooms are and I love the scenery (love looking at the swans and so did my kids) I also didn't like that the computers are out open...need a room for privacy....anybody can look over your shoulder and see what you are doing.....hello!!!! I extremely just hated that housekeeping keep coming in without even knocking....who does that! There buffet was kinda kimpy. I love embassy suites but I think I will pass going to that location because of those reasons.

The hotel was clean and close to other attractions. The pool and breakfast were a complete ZOO. During breakfast there were no silverware, plates, juice, or a place to sit. This was one of the reasons why I chose this hotel and it was a dissapointment. I don't think I will be coming back to this location again.

Excellent stay. Staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious and selection was good. Rooms were large and well furnished. Neighborhood has relatively few dining choices.

The hotel decor and amenities are nice, typical of all Embassy Suites hotels in which I've stayed. On the plus side, all hotel areas and rooms are clean and well maintained. All rooms are suites. This location has two very friendly Royal Swans that live in the indoor pond. Kids (and adults) seem to love feeding them. On the down side, the complementary breakfast did not seem as good as I recall in previous stays. Also, I had a bit of trouble getting an extra blanket for my son who was using the pull out sofa-bed. I was told they were "all out" until I suggested that they take one from another room. I got the sense that the person at the desk didn't really want to be bothered (after all, it was 2:00 AM). I did get one from another room in the end.

THE ELEVATORS SMELL LIKE SEWAGE AND A LITTLE KID POOED IN THE POOL SO WE DIDN'T GET TO USE IT. IT WAS ONLY A FAIR EXPERIENCE.

The hotel was very nice. We especially loved the breakfast, but the highlight was having live swans floating through the atrium area. Our two little girls just loved that. Would definately stay again.

This Hotel was amazing and clean. so comfortable, TV was great. I'll be back!

We were disappointed in the Breakfast! The buffet didn't exist! Had only selected items and had to stand in line to get that. No fruit! We ended up at Mc Donald's. Yuk!

The service was great. The rooms were nice, clean, and spacious. They have happy hour every evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. It's free. They also have hot breakfast made to order every morning and it's totally free. You can also feed the swans daily at 10:30 a.m. I will definitely be staying there again. Oh, I forgot to mention that there is a heated pool and jacuzzi year round.

This hotel is perfect for thos who want to do shopping and explore other parts of Dallas. The drive to the Cowboys arena/Rangers stadium is a short 25 minute drive. This hotel is comfortable, clean, and the staff is great. This place is a must stay. Kids love the swans. We loved the morning breakfast.
