A much needed vacation at an excellent hotel.

WAS A GREAT ONE NIGHT VIST..WEATHER WAS COLD,WOULD LIKE TO GO BACK IN SUMMER TIME.

Realy a nice and lovely Place in a beautiful environment. The Hotel Staff fulfill every wish, we spent a day/night in their SPA Suite, just amazing!

Very nice staff.

Nice hotel. But it didn't WOW me. I expected more relative to the cost and reputation of this hotel.

We had a very relaxing two day stay, we had spent the previous week self caltering and enjoyed the pampering. The location is marvellous, so beautiful. Fantastic service. Seals on the sand bars were a bonus. Loved it all. Room big and comfortable. Great public golf course next to hotel. Nine holes but fun and well priced.

We had been looking forward to staying at CBI as several friends had raved about the hotel. We found the staff (mostly) just so helpful, but a couple of comments: The Main Dining room was closed during our stay Monday and Tuesday evening, which meant either eating in the Tavern or going out. We were in a room at the top of the Main House which was not much more than the size of the bed, very cramped. Wehen we asked if we could have a similar room, but with an ocean view, but were told all those rooms were full. This turned out not to be the case at all, and we can only assume that they decided not to move us as we had paid through Hotels.com. (There were hardly any guests the two nights we were in house.) What we did like was the free and convenient shuttle service to any restaurant in town. Food in the Tavern was mixed, and there was a consistent effort to upsell, i.e., when we asked what the house wine was we were told the waiter didn't know but that they had Cakebread available (a much more expensive selection) - this happened more than once.

Fabulous in every respect.

Beautiful hotel and surrounding area. Easy walk to town and beach. The hotel restaurant was outstanding, impeccable service.

This was my first stay at the Chatham Barrs Inn. I had issues the moment we tried to check in. Neither key would open the lock, there was a stain on the carpet, linens had stains, dirty spa slippers left for us to use, dirt around bathroom sink and in snack drawer. I reported al this upon check out and was told they are still transitioning from winter. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels across the country and this was a first! I will be staying at the new luxury hotel down the road during my next trip to Chatham!!!!

They were on point with everything. Very quaint and comfortable with all the bells that a bigger hotel chain has. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the scenery.

We stayed at Chatham Bars Inn for a few days between Christmas and New Year's 2011 . Hotel was beautifully decorated, staff were extremely kind and helpful. Wonderful quick getaway.

We attended a wedding in Chatham on New Years Day and wanted a comfortable convenient place to stay that night so we wouldn't have to drive back to Boston the same day. CBI couldn't have been any more perfect! The staff was so friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and beautiful, and the breakfast was out-of-this-world delicious! I hope we have an opportunity to return!

Great stay Lesson learned when booking with Hotel.com we got a great rate but not a great room. The hotel made the room change with no rate change which they did not have to do. Pretty certain this would not have happened during the prime season. In the future I will be prepared prior to check in

The place is amazing. I had heard good things from friends who went so decided to stay. It was great. Try and get into one of the outer cottages if you can. Totally romantic and worth the money. We went in the Winter and are going to try and make it a weekly trip!

A grab bar in the bath/sbower is helpful for the older generation. I did not take a shower because there was no grab bar

We only had 1 night at the hotel , because we were on our way to Boston . But looking forward to going back and staying several days .

This is by far the nicest resort on the Cape.

Due to allergies, we requested no bedding with goose down or feathers. The Hotel noted our request had been taken care of. Unfortunately the hotel suppled us with feather pillows. Not a pleasant situation.

My wife an I were staying some days at Chatham Bars Inn during our honeymoon round trip in New York and New England. We can definitely recommend this hotel. Most of the promises made through hotel website and recommendations from other guests, i. e. via tripadvisor, have been meet. Nevertheless, there were three main objections especially since this hotels claims to be one of "The leading Hotels of the World": #1 Bathroom cleanliness: on different occasions we found a variety of hair in our bathroom. It seemed that a dirty cloth had been used and no quality assurance took place #2 The Tavern retaurant: We can absolutely not recommend dinner in Tavern. Breakfast and other restaurant exceeded our expectations. #3 Room category booked was not provided: The booking was made via hotels.com and the hotel refused to provide us the room which we (thought) we had booked. Reason: hotel.com has not aligned the room categories to Chatham Bars Inn. It is very unpleasant to hope for a nice beach cottage room and get the main house room with loud A/C beside the patio. Nevertheless, the Chatham Bars Inn also has to take responsibility for promises (but refused this) that main sales agents (here: Expedia Group) makes.

My wife and I stayed at the CBI over Memorial Day weekend and had a fantastic stay! This place has a magical feel to it and can only be appreciated in person...once you've stayed there, you'll know what I am talking about! If anyone has had the chance to stay at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore...the CBI is the same feel!!

great hotel restaurant only fair but great choices in town and hotel provides transportation there and back really pretty piece of property and nice little village

This place was wonderful. The views are breath taking! The room was very beautiful and relaxing...no detail was spared! The Tavern had amazing food and even better service.

Great hotel, great service, great location adn great food. Who could ask for anything more.

I don't think the stay was what I have come to expect from Chatham Bars Inn. We stayed in the Spa Suite which was nice, but the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The hard surface of the matress immediately took away the great feeling we had just received from our body messages. The room temperature was extremely warm, even though we had turned the heat down. The TV picture quality was not good and the remote did not work. Also, the staff just conveyed the bare minimum courtesy - nothing good or even exceptional which is what you would expect from an expensive inn.

tutto molto bene, camera grande con solotto e camino con emzionante vista oceano inaccettabile invece in un hotel così prestigioso la mancanza di trasporto dei bagagli in camera (non era nel complesso principale ma in una delle tante depandance) e l'esaurimento delle ostriche al ristorante per cena
