Comfort Inn Chatham - Chatham

Was good, the women on front desk was very sweet and helpful. The morning breakfast was great. over all was a fab. stay.

We stayed at the Chatham Comfort Inn on May 18th with plans to head to Point Pelee National Park the next morning. We were hoping to stay in Leamington which is closer to the National Park, but all the hotels were booked and we settled on staying in Chatham which is about 40-50 minutes away from the park. We had to leave the hotel around 5 AM in order to make it to the park for ideal birdwatching time; upon our arrival we requested if it was possible to set out breakfast early since breakfast technically didn't start at 7 am. I assumed that perhaps coffee would be set out, but to my surprise, all breads, bagels, muffins, and drinks were waiting for us. The hotel itself is very clean, and the room was spotless. There are a few fast food places around, including a Tim Horton's across the street, and a Subway about 3 minutes away. Great overall, wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

Brief 1 night stay. Room was clean and comfortable. No issues with anything

Reception staff friendly and helpful. Room was nice, bed was comfortable, but the pillow were a little too soft. Close to most restaurants (MacDonalds, Kelseys, etc down the road) and a short drive to the main hwy (401). Our room on the first floor had a mini fridge and microwave, although we didn't use it. Breakfast was simple, but good enough to start the day. It was a short visit but met our expectations; would stay again.

Nice experience! Many of the rooms now have large flat screens. Good bed. Will return!

- Good location, comfortable, well maintained and very clean. - Could use an elevator for those with bad knees. Seemed a bit understaffed on check-in (one person at prime time).

The room was fine. There certainly was not anything special about the room.

It was very close to the 401. Pretty good price and very nice continental breakfast.

Considering the lack of choices of Hotels in Chatham, we were pleasently surprised with our stay. Front desk staff was very friendly upon arrival and departure. Room was very clean. Continential breakfast was better than most larger hotel chains. I'd definitely stay again.

Clean & Comfortable

The Comfort Inn was an ideal hotel stay. Check-in was extremely quick and the reception manager was able to offer suggestions about local restaurants and attractions, marking them on a (free) map for us. The hotel building was clean, although there's no elevator to the second floor - a staff member immediately volunteered to help with the suitcases though. The room was clean and fresh, with the air conditioning initially set to a sensible temperature. The complimentary toiletries in the bathroom were good, with separate face and body soaps as a nice touch. The hotel seemed quite full for some of the time of our stay, so there was an amount of noise from other guests. but nothing that was overly loud or that caused us annoyance as we were trying to sleep. Unfortunately during our stay the WC sprang a leak about 11pm (these things sometimes happen) but a call to the front desk resulted in immediate attendance and a fix. I couldn't really ask for better service! The breakfast provided was perfectly good, with a cold continental selection available. The coffee was freshly brewed and well-made. The impression I received from the staff was of a genuine desire to make our stay as pleasant as possible - we'll definitely look at staying at the Comfort Inn next time we pass through Chatham.
