The only problem was the overly soft bed which really affected my husbands's sleep.

It was wonderful very nice staff. Beautiful location & the bed was wonderful & had plenty of pillows!!!!

A little more updating to the rooms, example: a mirror in the room itself,not just in the dressing area. There was no vent in inside bathroom or grab-bar in bathtub. Decor was pleasant and we had a nice patio outside our room. Desk clerks were polite and very businesslike, cleaning staff was polite. There was no way to get the luggage up the steps to the entrance by our room. That's when it is handy to have a man!!!!

Very quaint. It's definitely an older hotel, but nicely maintained. The walls are quite thin- I could hear the neighbor sneeze! The staff was exceptional! Definitely worth trying!

Let me preface this review by stating that I am not very picky when it comes to hotels. I have stayed in Ritz-Carltons and Super 8s, but I find that as long as a hotel meets my basic needs I will be happy with it. The most important factor (to me) in choosing a hotel is the hotel's ability to enable a person to have quality sleep. There are many factors that go into this (comfortability of the bed, room temperature, noise, etc.), but if any of these factors are outside of their normal ranges, a person's stay at a hotel can be affected. This hotel had a comfortable bed and good temperature control, but the noise level was absolutely ridiculous. The walls are paper thin, so I was awakened throughout each night I stayed there by doors opening and shutting, crying babies, people talking, etc. I am normally a fairly deep sleeper, but the walls of my room were so thin that the person in the room next to me woke me up with their snoring. I will NEVER stay here again. I got very little sleep, and since the reason I book a hotel is to sleep, I received little to no value for my money. I expected more from Marriott.

Everything about it was wonderful. I will be staying here again on my next visit.

We have stayed here several times and its always the same quality service. The front desk night auditor was awesome sauce! She was friendly, well spoken and courteous! Bed was comfy as usual, heating was great and comfy. My only nag is other guests slamming doors early in the morning (not the hotel's fault though). Oh and I love to watch the dogs running and frolicking in the dog park nearby, they seem like they are always having the best time!

Great rate last minute. Room was nice except for the bathroom had no fan. Plenty of room. Great location for all the great restaurants on the belt line road and just around the corner from northpark mall. We'll be back.

Everything was nice, and it was tucked in a quiet spot off the road. Only 2 things were very odd - no bathroom vent fan and at least a 1/2" gap under the front door. Otherwise it was great and very clean and comfortable.

Very satisfied overall with my hotel stay. My problem isn't with the hotel but guests of the hotel. 18wheeler parked and block the parking spots close to the builing...problem is that it was raining and this jerk and his truck took up over 5 car spaces. That same night, the room next door consisted of loud laughing and talking. Contacted front desk and it soon ceased. This is not an error of the hotel therefore, I will stay again.

Enjoyed our stay and looking forward to the next one. This was our second stay at this particular hotel and enjoyed both times.

We will stay again and the bed felt so Good we didnt want to leave. Great location!

The hotel was a big disappointment. First, there was no elevator and noone to help with luggage. Then there were signs posted basically warning that the parking lot was not safe - but you had to climb several steps to get into the hotel. Then the room smelled like a smoking room. In fact, I had to spray perfume around the room to stay there. There was a great deal of noise until very late in the hallways and lots of door slamming. Finally, the bed was old and too soft and I sank into the middle of it when I got in. The only redeeming factor was that the young man at the front desk was very pleasant.

Very nice staff, excellent value, nice location, nice room and very comfy bed. Don't know about the breakfast I just could not get out of bed that early, bed was so comfortable, they also have a small fitness center but well equipped!

Hotel property and location are good. Unfortunately the walls in this property are WAY to thin.

Good price...clean rooms

This was a great place to stay. Will book again when I come to Dallas.

Not what I'm accustomed to for a Marriott. Roach in the bathroom and accumulation of dust on the plumbing and a plastic wrapper from a previous guest in the vanity area left in the floor. Probably will not be back. Some

Loved the hotel and the location but I was a bit put off that breakfast wasn't included in our room and it was pretty expensive for what it was. Also there was no elevator which I found weird for a multi-level hotel. It was rough carting all our stuff (with a family of 5 we don't pack light) up and down the stairs. But the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and quiet and it was a good bargain for the neighborhood.

stayed recently while attending a birthday celebration. booked there due to affordability. I was impressed by how nice and updated the rooms were. bathroom is small but, immaculate. I'd stay there again.

This is apparently an older Courtyard property and is showing some age. One of the biggest drawbacks is that it is a 2-story property and there is NOT an elevator. Are you kidding me? How in the world can you have a 2-story hotel with no elevator? Major drawback if you are on the second floor and have to lug all your stuff up the stairs. Also, we arrived in our room to find the bed was not made. Housekeeping had already gone home, so a maintenance worker was sent up to make the bed. He pretty much made it as you would expect a maintenance man too. Overall a disappointing experience

This hotel was clean and safe, however my room was located on the 2nd floor (the hotel has no elevators) and in the middle of a hallway that was about 100yds long. There were only two nearby entrances, both at the end of the hall. The location was good however I believe I'll look for another hotel the next time I'm in the area.

The staff was friendly and the rooms clean, the one thing I would suggest is to put another ice machine closer to the front rooms on 2nd floor. You could hear a conversations from the hallway and the adjacent rooms. overall I had an enjoyable stay and would stay again

Close to clubs, a major freeway, many restraunts of different expense ranges, a mall, and a movie theater.

My family has stayed at this hotel in the past, about two years ago, and they stay was wonderful. We were in DFW this past weekend for a little getaway and decided to book this hotel again, and man, this time was way different! The beds are stellar, but I could not enjoy them because the hotel cleaning ladies were up at the crack of dawn, talking in the hallway near our room. Also, we were booked in a room near the door exiting the building, and people were coming in and out all night the first night. I don't think I had more than a solid hour or so of sleep that night. The room was very clean and I love that they have Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner. The guy working the front desk was very helpful and friendly, and the hotel is in great shape both structurally and regarding cleanliness. The location doesn't get any better-- it's right in the middle of a ton of great restaurants and just down the road from the Galleria and other shopping places. I love this hotel but will not stay in a room near an exit or the housekeeping area ever again!

The room was large, well lit & very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast & wait staff were good. Overall it was excellent value for the money. The only drawback is that there is no elevator & the refundable $20.00 per night that the hotel charges at check in. We would certainly stay there again.

For a Marriott hotel, I was very disappointed.
