For the amount that I paid - could have gone to other better places. Bath tubs showed signs of aging. Tiny rooms. Room's windows face a busy street. Constant vehicle noise inspite of closed windows. Very noisy. No complimentary breakfast - even for the amount that I paid. Internet reception was poor (actually no signal) in room 231 hence had to move closer to the router. Frontdesk was reluctant to switch inspite of having stayed only for 1/2 hr in 231 after check in. They felt I have used the room already. Totally very old building, narrow corridors, musty smell.

Didn't realize this was a place with doors facing outside instead of a hall in a building. Neighborhood was kind of shady so I locked up everything. Room seemed clean but the lighting was dim so not sure. Bathroom needed a make over; cracked ceilings, rusty handles, and tile coated with lime. I'd probably never come back, even if it was just for a overnight rest before my morning flight.

Overall the hotel condition is very poor. Carpets were dirty, air conditioned units were very noisy.I requested a wake-up call for 6.15 and I was called at 6:45. I almost missed my flight.

They should notify the shchedule of shuttle bus to airport, It is every hour, it should be at least every 30 minutes. Its ok hotel

It was the ugliest hotel I've stayed, well in fact I didnt stayed I decided to pick up my stuff one hour afetr my check in and leave them. It smells terrible, humidity with cigarretes, stains on all the room carpet and dust all over. I had to move to a Comfort Suites just around the corner, it cost the double but it was great! I just had planned to stay the night in order to take my airplane next morning, but I just couldnt support it....

Stayed here before the annual MS bike ride to Key Largo. The bathroom was small and sooooooo dirty.

Absolutely OK for one overnight to get the next flight

Rooms were tidy but the carpets were filthy and the bedding was stained. The tap in the bathroom leaked/dripped all night. Workers were doing something outside my sister's room both days we were there and they came in and out of her room as they pleased. Website indicates there's an ihop 0KMs away - it's actually more than 3 blocks away and was very far to walk. Housekeeping never let us have more than 2 towels at a time and they removed all towels and didn't return them for several hours. other than that, no major issues. Front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The coffee bar in the hotel is good but expensive and the pool was lovely although it could have used some more chlorine.

The room was far from the office (several buildings) and the clerk failed to properly charge the key card so I had to carry my bags back and forth up and down stairs. After a long flight. The room was tiny and provided no place to hang up my clothes. There was a " what must have been a closet?" which was locked. The clerk promised someone would check to see, but it never happened. The bathroom was very tiny and the stool was on a ledge as was the shower and they were difficult to navigate.

Well the fire alarm went off at around 12:30AM for about 10 minutes after which it was shut off. However, there was no staff to be found. The next morning I inquired as to why this happened and everyone acted as if I was wrong and that nothing had happened. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again, not because the alarm went off but because no one was willing to give at least a partial explanation!!!

Great location for overnight from MIA Staff helpful and pleasant. old t.v.s need upgrading and better channels. Would recommend it for a short stay between planes. Most rooms very quite and well of the road.

Let me start off with the good things. The staff was very friendly... Now on to the bad stuff. After checking in we went to our room and as we opened the door were slapped in the face with a smell of bleach which was immediately meant I could not stay there as my son who is 2 was with me. Then I noticed the room which to my surprise was much more compact than the pictures I had previewed. Went to the front desk who had just told the woman in front of me there was no way they could change rooms as they were completely booked. As I approached and explained my situation they immediately switched me. New room more closely appeared as the one in the pictures. My son had to run around in the room and took off his shoes. Within 2 minutes he tried to get on the bed and we saw his feet they were nearly completely black. Truly disgusting. The vent in our bathroom seemed to be adjoined to a smoking room because the first night our bathroom smelled of cigarettes. The staff seemed nice enough and the linens were fine. Between the floor and the smells I will not be staying in this days inn or any other in the foreseeable future.

Great over-night stay. Clean and comfy.

The room was clean, the bed very comfortable and the staff courteous and helpful. Having just had a 9 hour flight, the hotel was ideally placed for an overnight stay, before heading up-state. The only drawback for us was single-glazing in a room overlooking a very busy road, which meant we couldn't have slept late, even if we had wanted to. A room at the back of the hotel would probably have been preferable.

The Hotel was okay, however the location to downtown Miami was not good, and the surrounding neiborhood seemed less than safe, overall the staff in the hotel where very friendly.

The hotel is not new and our room was very noisey from the bar downstairs and the traffic. However, they do provide free transportation to the cruise docks for those travelers.

The people behind the desk hate their job and the customers. Got luggage? Best you are in great shape as you are headed for the second floor as far away from the front desk as possible. No elevator to help you to the second floor. The bar is a joke and it smells. The little restaurant was okay at breakfast. At night the staff is as surely as the front desk people. Avoid this like the plague.

staff did not care, room is not ready by 3pm, room is dirty, not enough towels, no fridge even I requested. rude staff.

The rooms are very old, we found a cockroach in it, housekeeping did not clean well, since they same hair would be on the wall for days. The location is ok if you have to be close to the airport, otherwise it is not. At the reception it is very annoying, since there is one person answering the phone, and this happens to be the one helping you. So the conversation is constantly interrupted.

the best part is location and hourly van to the airport. Not on the approach path so no jet noise. remote for TV did not work. and air-conditoner was so noisy I unplugged it and opened the window.

Stay was fine.Hotel service was great! Free van to airport was very helpful!

Bathroom and room were small but all new furnishings. For the price this was a fabulous place to stay! No complaints and would book again if in the area!

Loud music below me until 3am and internet didn't work. Only get 2 rating because parking was free.....

Overall appearance was underwhelming. Service was bad and delivered unskilled and unprofessionally. Room seemed dirty and seedy enough I didn't feel like taking off my clothes to go to bed. Only two good things we good flat screen TV with manychannels and comfortable bed all-be-it with dirty stained bedsheets.

The front desk was very friendly. The room was spartan and the maintenance was minimal. Bed and bathroom were very clean. We had a room in the main building but I looked in the rooms out back (unoccupied ones-- I'm not peeping) and they were much nicer. The pool area was surprisingly nice, although the weather was way too cold for a swim. This is an old-school hotel and I would love to know the history. Very basic accommodations (at least in the front building) and the street is a bit noisy but overall much better than I expected. The free ride to the cruise port in the morning was well organized and efficient. Would stay here again for a pre-cruise place to crash. I have stayed in MUCH worse places (I'm looking at you so-called Best Western Waukegan IL. and the Hotel Mario San Juan PR (Long out of business).

The staff is professional and efficient, but I got a smoking room, it was choking. I could not be changed to a non smoking room because the hotel was full. They have a great bar and good restaurant on site. I was far from impressed by the room due to the residual smell of cigarettes.

Convenient, but severly run down...

Bring earplugs and insist on a room not along the road.

Rooms noisy, loud music playing until 3 AM, no elevator, had to drag luggage up and down stairs

The hotel staff allowed us to book in early and it was good to be close to the airport.We would book this hotel again.

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The condition of the hotel is horrible and the rooms were terrible. The staff was very nice but that's it. Never again, will spend the extra money next time and stay somewhere else.

Hotel is on 36th close to MIA with a shuttle bus to the terminal. Older motel style complex common to Florida. Room was comfortable enough for a one night stay between flights. Also close to airline flight simulator centers, and decent enough to stay in for a couple of weeks for training session. Only real complaint was the loud music in the bar, more the taste of the barkeep than the (mostly male) customers playing pool or trying to relax over a beer. There is a Subway and McDonald's close by in addition to on-site restaurant.

Very poor condition hotel. Rooms are filthy and doors don't even close. Staff was very nice, but would NEVER stay again....

Misinformation at hotels.com Four people in a small room with one double bed?? Finally 2 hours later had a matress delivered to room. Oh smoking room not non smoking! Not satisfied with hotel.com

was not the same as the picture called for like pool side rooms,which ended up bein a parking lot..

Chose this hotel due to their free 24-hour shuttle to/from airport. What they fail to tell you is that this is once an hour, on the hour. When landing in Miami we were lucky enough to catch the shuttle just before it left. The driver was horrible and I feel lucky to have made it safely to the hotel. Once there, the place was run down and very dated. Our room was small and dated, but clean. Since the shuttle was only once and hour, we had to leave the hotel very early for the flight. Also, they tout on thier website about their onsite cafe (coffee in room was horrible), but they dont open until 6:30, so if you have an early flight (or have to leave early due to their shuttle) you miss out. Overall, might stay again if just for the convenience, since it was clean. Oh, and no elevator, so hopefully you are strong enough to carry your bags up the stairs. No offer of help from the staff.
