clean, comfortable room in quiet, rural area. own transport a must.

This is a fantastic location 30 minutes fron central Amsterdam, quite, clean with large rooms older hotel but very well maintained, it was nice to wake up each morning with birds chirping and wide open green spaces outside the window. Magnolia restaurant serves good quality food albeit a rather limited selection that said it was always well presented. The staff are friendly and always ready with a smile. I have no problems recommending this hotel as much for its wuite location and service it is not modern yet not old as stated above the rooms are large and hotel is well maintained, I ahd a great stay and will return, thank you Hampshire Golfhotel Waterland

If you can bear the fact of staying 20 km away from amsterdam city centre, this hotel is a worth noting as it's very calm, quiet, in a small city and in the middle of golf greens.

This hotel is rated with 4 stars, but 3 stars worth at most. Bathroom is clean but technical 10.years behind.

it was a good hotel in a good surrounding and the restaurant food was excellent.

we enjoy very much but there were to problems: 1. we got room no.152 and it was to far to go each time we entered the hotel. 2. it didn't included breakfast and the rate for breakfast was too high. the hotet was in a high level family Elazar

The location is outside Amsterdam but it's in very nice neighborhood with all the suburb beautiful farms in Holland. We could not ask more than that with a family with less than ten boys. The staff were very helpful and speak very well English as anyone in Holland. The only note is to recommend to the hotel management to replace the carpet as it is to old. For sure I book hotel again if we visited Amsterdam again.

I only stayed so far because everything was booked in Amsterdam itself and the hotel had good rates for the weekend. The rooms were HUGE, even for an American. This is however because it is quite far from the city. They tell you about 20-30 mins on the bus but it's really more like 45, plus a 10 min walk to the station. Bus 107 will take you directly in the Main Station right in the heart of AMS. While the bus runs pretty late (about 12:30-1am), it is quite expensive. A day pass (valid 00:00 to 23:59 of the same day) is 9 euro. This ticket is only valid on the Aviva lines, not the regular trams/trains/buses that are in AMS or ones that go to the airport. You can plan so that you buy a ticket on board the first night after midnight, take it out the following morning, then take the bus back before midnight the same day and you will get three trips out of the ticket, costing only 3 euro a ride - not too bad. A one-way ticket will cost you 6 euro though. It's actually more worthwhile than a hostel because it's a real hotel. I'd stay here again for sure if I couldn't find a place in town.

Plus points: everything was fine, friendly staff, comfortable room with nice view. The food in restaurant was also great at acceptable price. Minus points: just a little bit far away from amsterdam downtown, about 20 min. by car. No free internet access point in room, only in the main hall. Surely recommendable!

For its price, the room and the surrounding make it seems like a fraud. If you are looking for a time to get away from the urban spotlights, this is exactly the place to go. It resides on the outskirts of AMS, yet the city can still be reached by the direct bus within 30 min. The only concerns are the meals, which can be provided by the hotel by extra. My suggestion is to fill yourself up with dinner and bring in breakfast before returning to the hotel for a beautiful night.

Tolle Lage für einen erholsamen Urlaub. Gute Busverbindung nach Amsterdam.

Bel hôtel récent à coté du golf, à quelques minutes du centre d'une petite ville, à 1/2 heure du centre d'Amsterdam; au milieu de la campagne hollandaise, très calme, chambres modernes et propres; rien à redire au niveau du service; le petit déjeuner est très bien mais un peu cher ( 14 € );restaurant non testé; A recommander.

Hôtel très agréable, grande chambre, un peu bruyant cependant. Le cadre vaut vraiment le coup ! Accès facile à Amsterdam par un bus direct à 3mns de l'hôtel !

Perfekt beliggenhed

Tres sympathique hotel entouré d'un golf et de plein de petits canaux. Une forêt a 5 min, bref un cadre idyllique. Le + :parkings gratuit Le - : lits inconfortable.

Die Zimmer waren angemessen groß, es war teilweise noch Staub unter dem Bett und teilweise nicht ganz ordentlich geputzt. Wir waren für 2 Übernachtungen dort, die Heizung funktionierte nicht, was wir am nächsten Morgen an der Rezeption reklamierten, man sagte uns, dass ein Techniker kommen würde, als wir abend um 21.00 Uhr fragten, warum sie immer noch nicht funktioniere, sagte man uns, wir würden in einer Stunde angerufen, dieser Anruf kam nicht, so dass wir auch die 2. Nacht froren. Am nächsten Morgen sagte man uns, dass es nicht gut sei, dass nichts passiert sei, wir seien doch zu zweit gewesen um uns zu wärmen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig, einge Bereiche des Hotes sind doch schon stark verwohnt und auch Teppichböden sehr mitgenommen, im Erdgeschoss ist nur noch der nackte Beton. Aber bei dem Preisniveau ist das schon eher zu tolerieren, als 2 Nächte zu frieren. Die Anlage liegt schön 20 km von Amsterdam im Gründen an einem Golfplatz.

hôtel très calme, situé aux abords du golf. confort et propreté au RDV. Contrairement à ce qui était indiqué sur le site les petits déjeuners étaient compris (ça c'était une bonne nouvelle). Très bonnes prestations dans l'ensemble.

The hotel is located in a quiet and peacefull area. The rooms are clean and big.Its is a pity that after booking and paying online the reception worker claimed after arriving that the room is not paid and i had to pay again by the reception, or i could not get my room!!!! The next morning i went on my internet banking and saw that the money has been taken from my account as well, so then i was sure i have paid twice!!!! After long research of the reception workers and long time of waiting i got the second payment back in cash. I also took a late check out, but there were cleaning ladies knoking the door from 12 oclock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and screaming in CHINEESE and broken english to me : YOU MUST GO, GO NOW !!!! I explained to the that i had a late check out untill 5pm.,but they keep on coming ( in totaal 11 times!!) untill 3 pm. I decided to do not stay until 5 and to go away anyway, I could not take it anymore! What an horrible service! Nice hotel but because of the service i WILL NOT BE STAYING THERE ANYMORE!!! big shame hamshire hotel !!

Prima locatie voor overnachting i.v.m. vroege afspraak in Noord Holland., Zeker in combinatie met scherpe last minute prijs (1-pk, donderdagavond). Volgende keer ga ik eerder en combineer ik het met bezoek aan golfbaan..(-:

Op een paar puntjes na goed. Veel geluiden snachts, borrelen van afvoer of iets dergelijks en lawaai van de tv tijdens standbij. Dus snachts mijn bed uit om de tv toch echt uit te moeten doen. Verder goed gegeten en het ontbijt en verdere service was ook goed.

La personne à l accueil n était pas aimable la chambre devait être prête pour 14h puis 15h puis 15h20 Pour rentrer dans notre chambre il faut faire presque 1km depuis l accueil

Goede prijs/waarde verhouding. Heerlijk hotel als je in de natuur wil zitten i.p.v. in de stad.

Environnement superbe si voiture + gps. Calme absolu - Moquettes très défraichies et chambre un peu austère

Lever i hvert fald ikke op til sin 4 stjerne betagnelse.Vi måtte flere gang rykke for at få varmen tændt i værelset. Der gives klare signaler om hvilken service kvalitet man skal forventer hvis man ikke bor på en af "superior" værelser, hvilken vi ikke gjorde...! Så vi måtte overætte to næter i en kold værelse. Derfor; Tjaa...

Een prima hotel voor een heel nette prijs. I.t.t. eerdere reviews : onze kamer zag er pico bello uit. ( gerenoveerd?)De ontvangst was wat rommelig, vanwege een golf-event waarschijnlijk. Alles verder prima, ook een uitstekend ontbijt en vriendelijke bediening daar.

Hotel sympa dans l'ensemble,cependant si vous ne jouer pas au golf,l'interet est faible. Les chambres sont spacieuses,seulement la déco est trés kitch,moquette rouge qui date de matusalem,la baignoire douche est equipé d'un rideau ... la robinetterie rappelle ce qui ce fait de moins bon,trés cheap,bouchon noire pour bonder la baignoire car mécanisme cassé... La Tv fait 36cm de large. Il n'y a pas la climatisation dans la chambre,et le mini-bar été vide. Bref pour un 4* nous nous attendions à vraiment mieux, Le confort d'un formule 1 en France est equivalent. Le petit dejeuner est correct avec pains croissant,du salami bacon et autre oeuf brouillé. Manqué quand méme la nutella. L'avantage de cet hotel est son parking gratuit et la proximité des bus reliant Amsterdam. Par contre 10€ le ticket jour par personne.

L'hotel est situé dans le Waterland, un environnement magnifique et reposant. Nous avons pu en profiter pour visiter les jolis villages de Volendam, Edam, ou encore Marken. Amsterdam est également très facilement accessible en une petite demi heure par le bus, qui passe à trois minutes à pieds seulement de l'hotel. A recommander vivement.

Lo utilizamos como inicio de ruta en bici de unos 12 días por Holanda. Y durante esos días dejamos el coche en su parking que aunque no tiene barreras, resulto ser muy tranquilo y fiable. Justo en frente del hotel, pasa una ruta en bici, que tomamos como comienzo de la aventura en bici. Como lo reservamos con casi 2 meses de antelación, resultó muy económico. Hay wifi gratis en zonas comunes.

Hôtel très calme, Accès à Amsterdam très facile en bus (30 min de trajet - 10 E A/R) Pas de bouilloire dans la chambre comme indiqué dans le descriptif et petit déjeuner moyen (tables non nettoyées, pas de lait chaud au buffet)

Standard hotel i hyggelige omgivelser - det meste er baseret på at man skal spille golf. Hverken tv eller køleskab virkede ved ankomst, tv blev repareret dagen efter. Dyr morgenmad.

Unsere Aufenthalt war sehr kurz, wir waren zwei Nächte da. Check-in, sowie Check-out war sehr schnell, einfach spielend, was für uns zum großen Vorteil war. Größte Vorteil war der Preis, für 4 Personen in einem Zimmer. Das Hotel befindet sich in etwa 20km Entfernung von der Mitte des Amsterdams, deshalb gabs überhaupt kein Problem mit der Autobahn in die Stadt reinzukommen. Zimmern sind sauber, andere Gäste hört man und sieht man nicht. Top für kurzurlauber!!!
