Overall it was a great stay for the price. Beds are comfortable, breakfast is good, not much of a selection though. My bathroom floor was dirty upon check in, seems they did a bad job of sweeping if any at all, but everything else seemed fined. It is located near Oakwood plaza if you do not have a car and need to pick up some things. You can find restaurants, K-mart, a movie theatre and several other shops there. However, it is going to be a walk, like any other shopping plaza, things are spread out, and if its an exceptionally hot day, you may rethink going shopping early in the morning or better yet, renting a car. I would stay again simply because of it's convenience and price.

Shopping stores could be closer, excellent resturants in walking distance..

Hotel is old and outdated, had to walk quite a distance to get to anything. Would not stay here again. Couldn't wait to leave the place.

Both shuttle drivers were nice. The hotel is very clean and in good order. We didn't use the pool however it looked OK, small but useable. Above avg. hotel.

The hotel staff was very helpful and the room was comfortable. The hotel is a little out of the way and the short walk to the shopping center is great in the day but very dark at night. I stayed prior to leaving for a cruise and the hotel was very helpful with transportation to the cruise port. Very busy hotel

Hotel was in good shape and the staff was friendly but the room stunk of tobacco. I did not see an option for smoking or non smoking and got in late so I was too tired after treking upstairs to ask for a different room so we put up with the smell. Also read that they provided free shuttle service from the airport and to the cruise port. Well, the cruise port service was dicontinued this year I was told and it costs $8 a person to go to the port. This would have impacted my decision to stay here as there were other comparable hotels that offered free shuttle service to both. Morning breakfast was very good for "free" and there's plenty to see around there if you like to walk a little bit. If it weren't for the smoking room and shuttle cost, I would have given a much higher rating because the everything else was very satisfactory.

Not what i expected for the rate with Hotels.com. Check in was a hassle room wasn't clean and had to dispute over non smoking. If this is to be expected, it's totally unexceptable.

Hotel is clean. It offers free parking while you go on a cruise. There is a shuttle service to Airports and cruise terminals ($$). The hotel staff was extremely helpful. Breakfast every day. The only bad thing that happened is my daughter and her family was put in a smoking room, and they didn't say anything when they assigned it.

A bit pricy but good stay. Was picked up at the airport for free, but had to pay $36 for 2 to go to Port Everglades. Would recommend.

A bit far from the Ft. Lauderdale Airport but excellent accomodations.Would definitely stay there again.

Not a Westin but a very good alternative that is well worth the money. I usually stay at the Westins but this time I need a more centrally located hotel and I was very pleased with this very nice, clean and very comfortable. I will definitely stay there again.

Ideal location between airport and Port Everglades. Liked the fact we all got picked up at the airport on arrival in Ft. Lauderdale and also had transportation to the port the next day. Conveniently located to restaurants for lunch and dinner. Accommodations were very nice. Breakfast was also great - nice variety of foods. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Soft, comfy bed... Nice linens, extended cable, strong shower, modern, up-to-date furnishings, well maintained. I would definitely stay there again

It was what we expected. Basically an airport hotel. Not a value not a ripoff. Staff nice parking easy. One sup belligerent guest who yelled at her husband behind closed doors for hours. Eventually removed or fell asleep before our bedtime.

It was a very nice, comfortable hotel. The rooms were nice and clean and it had a great breakfast in the morning. The only problem we had was that there was only one elevator for the numerous floors and it seemed like we were always waiting for it.

Everything was great except bigger beds woulda been nice!!

I would book again .Very nice and clean and good pool. Close to a small mall.

excellent stay. needed to extend one day and was taken care of. One negative was the slow elevator.

This is a great place for the price. The only down side is that there are no restaurants close by and we had taken our car back, so had to order pizza. The rooms are clean and new and the pool and hot tub area are very nice. We would stay there again anytime.

The hotel was great and it was very convenient to Sun Life stadium where we attended the BCS Championship game as well as the beach and other attractions. The grounds were nice, rooms were clean and bright and the service was good. However, the surrounding neighborhood was a little scary. Fortunately, the hotel is located right off I-95 so we did not have to drive very far through the hood.

Lovely hotel, has shuttle from airport. It's walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Good place to stay before your cruise. Only negative, our room was on the 5th floor which is the smoking floor. We will stay here the next time we are in Fort Lauderdale but will be sure to have a non-smoking room.

Cheap breakfast

Overall, I would definitely recommend it if you want to be closer to the stores like Home Depot, Ross, K-mart and restaurants. A little far from Las Olas approximately 25-30 mins. but I really liked the staff, very accomodating. The rooms were clean, the continental breakfast was sufficient but I wish they would not allow pets.

Hotel was at a convenient location for my business meetings. Other than that, it was just ok with free internet and continental breakfast. Cheap stay.

Everything was great except for one thing. The luggage carts were nowhere to be found. When I asked the receptionist they just made excuses about people taking them into their rooms and not returning them. I had to carry down 300 pounds of boxes from my room at 7 AM in the morning to catch a plane. The either need more luggage carts or they need to be accountable for the whereabouts of the luggage carts. Something like this can really make or break a stay at a hotel.

At first, the room we were assigned had a smoke odor (we requested a nom-smoking room) so we had to go back to the front desk to get another room which was given to us right away.

OUR STAY AT THE HOTEL WAS VERY COMFORTABLE AND THE HOTEL WAS VERY CLEAN. WHENEVER I VISIT FORT LAUDERDALE AGAIN I WILL ALWAYS SEARCH OUT THIS HOTEL. THE WORKERS WERE VERY ACCOMODATING AND PROFESSIONAL. THE BREAKFAST WAS GREAT.

We needed to be near the airport so we could be there early. We had rented a car, so driving to Hollywood, fort Lauderdale and Miami were stress free as the hotel is close To the 95 Highway. For those without a car that hotel ran airport shuttles numerous times a day. Parking was more than ample and the hotel has good views over a lake.
