The front desk people were superior, Chet in particular. They were friendly and did everything from pillows to room to make my stay extraordinary. My thanks to you all. Brenda Conway

We had to walk my suitcase and all other stuff down 6 flights of stairs as the elavator would not stop on our floor. Waited over 20 minutes for a elevator. People were not happy. Never stay on middle floors, either stay all the way up or way down.....

I paid in advance for internet and breakfast but had to fight for it when I checked in. The front desk would not recognize that I had purchased the "Business Package," once the manager was involved the situation was resolved. Otherwise, the experience was enjoyable and I'll return.

We had a great stay. The breakfast was great. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable.

Decent hotel, great staff, decent breakfast...but the hotel is extremely noisy. The hotel is built in the style of Embassy Suites. There is a huge atrium in the middle of the hotel. All hotel rooms have an outward facing view and the entrance to the rooms face the atrium. The sounds echo and reverberate from the hollow middle of the building. There is a BAR in the lobby and all sounds hit the glass atrium and bounce back down like an echo chamber!!! I actually downloaded a white noise generator software for my laptop so that I could go to sleep. I will never stay at this hotel again. If management was smart, they would create a sound absorbing landscape in the lobby so that noise cancels out before hitting the glass atrium - a la Embassy Suites!!! TAKE A HINT MARRIOTT!!!

Could not check in until after 5 PM due to late check out of previous guests. Charges for internet usage. Convenient location and friendly staff.

We were VERY disappointed in the cleanliness of our room. Upon retiring the first night, I pulled back the bedsheets only to find a clump of long black hair in the sheets....then on the other side of the bed there was more long black hair...it was GROSS. We checked the other bed and there was a large stain (not sure if it was even laundered).... We were all appalled...called the front desk...45 minutes later someone was there to change the sheets (that was after 11:00 pm). Then the following day we left the hotel at 11:30 am and returned about 6:00 pm and our room HAD NOT been cleaned - no fresh towels...no NOTHING. Again I called the front desk and they did come up and clean but we had to leave the room..... We were VERY dissatisfied and are not sure if we will ever stay at that hotel again. We had previously stayed there and did not have these problems so we are not sure what has happened this time....

Loved it. Staff made u feel soooo welcomed i give it a 86 out of 5 best hotel ive ever stayed in and my kids loved it too

the hotel is in a good location, with easy access to shopping, food and freeways. my king size bed was very comfortable, incl a multitude of pillows.i did check in with a therapy dog - no problem on check in. at check out, i noticed that i was charged for the wi-fi connection which is supposed to be included. came up to the desk clerk - she apologized and removed the charge but instead added a $25.00 per day charge for the THERAPY dog. now, i can understand that some deposit is ok - but a charge? for therapy dog? Because i was checking out on Sunday - the billing office was closed. The clerk could not explain to me why 1. i was charged for wi-fi, 2. when wi-fi charge was removed - why i was charged the dog fee. Also, the difference between the room only or room and breakfast is $25.00. the breakfast bar is about $12.00, so unless you check in with more than 2 people - it is totally not worth it to pre-pay for food - there are plenty of breakfast places very close by

The hotel charges $13/day for WIFI and $13 for breakfast, most hotels in the surrounding area don't charge for WIFI or breakfast. I wouldn't prefer a hotel without WIFI.

Overall it was a good experience. There could have been additional staff in the restaurant to handle the amount of people at the hotel for our convention

What a breath of fresh air! After staying at the Doubletree in Milwaukee for double the price and less than half the size, our stay at the Marriott was like the Taj Mahal. The room was spacious and had a separate living room area with its own TV. The bed, linens and pillows were fluffy, fresh and abundant. I especially liked having the 2nd sink and mirror outside the bathroom. With my favorite stores, Chico's and Coldwater Creek nearby, the location was great. Last but not least, Chet at the desk has customer service as his middle name. Great job!

The hotel itself is very desirable. The management might want to do some extra training on pleasant customer service. As a customer, it seemed like I was 'inconveniencing' the front desk. Later, it seemed like the waitstaff in the restaurant was annoyed because of the amount of traffic they were getting and the kitchen staff was extremely behind. I was hoping I wouldn't have to leave the hotel for anything during the 3 days, but I did leave so I could have better service and food & beverage elsewhere. Too bad.

Great room, quiet. Ordered breakfast in room and it was on time and hot. The bar/restaurant was understaffed. Difficult to order with large group. Disappointed that they were not properly staffed for the conference. Staff was very polite and helpful even though over worked.

Great family stay; breakfast package was worth it. Good buffet. Only drawback-no fridge or microwave in the room in which we stayed. Would definitely go back.

Value was marginal, considering comparatively priced hotels offered much better amenities. Very disappointed that Marriott charged an addition fee for internet that was in fact slow and unreliable by way of comparison to other hotels in the area. Staff was friendly and courteous but sparse. Hotel and room quality was not impressive. My room was only marginally clean. It did not compare well to other hotels in the area or other Marriott hotels where I've stayed. I would not stay here again or recommend to a friend unless as a last resort.

I've stayed in a lot of hotels, but this is the 1st time I've entered a room where it looks as though only the bedding was changed. The previous person had left money on the night stand (small change), a torn up airport gate ticket, used bar of soap and shampoo in the shower, and a urine driplet on the toilet seat....all uncleaned by hotel staff. When notified, the staff assured me an adjustment would be made to my bill within 48 hours. But it's now been over a week and I've heard absolutely nothing. Disgusting.

We had requested that the room be feather free when we booked and it wasn't. It took them 2 tries to get it right. Our room had dirty glasses in it, stains on the bed, and stuff in the drawers. It should have been cleaner. The only reason we stayed here is because we were attending a wedding there.

No bell man to assist with bags, "he's not here today" Spiders in the room- have two bites to prove it. Excellent breakfast via roomservice. Polite front desk. No wait staff ion the bar- self service for the tables. An interior designer's nightmare.

right across the street from mall with great shops and restaurants. Close to State Street where all the action happens.

i usually do not leave comments about hotels, but i think i need to warn everybody who wants to stay over night in this hotel and sleep. the bar downstairs is loud as hell! i had booked a room at the concierge level. when i checked int they gave me a regular room without even telling me. they thought they had found a dumb guest and could do what they want... so be aware!

Both are small in size and under staffed. Because the hotel includes a conference center there are usually large groups there that want to eat at the same time. They didn't seem too understand that and did not have adequate staff working, resulting in excessive wait times to get seated and to get served.

The price is ok, a little more than expected, however the breakfast buffet was good and the staff did a great job.

Awesome Business Hotel

Because it is an atrium, noise at the main floor bar could be heard on all the floors. The beds were soft. TV was old, not flat screen.

This hotel does not live up to the Marriott standards. We requested a non-smoking room and were given a room that did not have a 'non-smoking' sign on the door as others did and were told that "All our rooms are non-smoking." The room smelled terrible--they did give us another room after I threatened to go to another hotel if they did not. The hotel has ten floors, serviced by two elevators that were so slow, that we often took the stairs from the eighth floor to make the trip faster. Our room was satisfactory except that my bedding had several orange-ish colored stains. It looked like it had been cleaned, but the stains made me wonder and I don't like to wonder in a hotel room!
