Comfort Suites Southwest - לייקווד

Our regular hotel was booked so we stayed at the Comfort Suites Southwest. Room initially smelled strong with some type of air freshener that we weren't real fond of. We opened the windows and eliminated the smell and were fine the rest of our stay (4 days). Room was very clean. Bed was wonderful (one of the best hotel beds I have ever had). During our stay one of the boilers went out. We were without water for half a day. Not fun but we understand things do break from time to time. We were told they were going to replace all three boilers as soon as possible. Price was right room was clean. would we go back there? Yes if we couldn't get our usual hotel. Their sign our front said they were pet friendly. On several mornings people brought their dogs into the breakfast room. The dogs were very well behaved, but I had real problems personally with dogs in the breakfast room. I tried not to think about the idea that a dog probably stayed in my room sometime in the past. At my house we don't allow dogs in the house. That is our personal preference.

The neighborhood was creepy

Loved the pool & spa! Great breakfast selection. Soft bed with lots of pillows. Great restaurant a very short walk away. Friendly staff. And pet friendly too.

Very clean. Bit far from downtown but near from local bars and restaurants.

Our Stay was fine but two days after we left they accused us of smoking in the room. WE DID NOT. Apparently there is NO RECOURSE. Once accused you are automatically guilty. Corporate line is pretty much useless because every hotel is independently owned. Still fighting with these people....now I must wait three days for any type of reply. Tried calling the hotel directly and according to the front desk the manager is not there and she has no idea when they will return. Its Wednesday at Noon right now, where should the manager be!!!!!!!!!!

Super comfortable bed. Nice room. Good breakfast. Enjoyed pool & hot tubs. Friendly staff.

I liked the hotel more than my roommate did. To me there is substantial comfort in what this room offered: a microwave oven, mini fridge-freezer, coffee maker, hair dryer and iron and HOT breakfast - I could eat things even though I was on a low carbohydrate diet. My roommate observed more what it lacked - up to date decor, new-looking couches in the sitting area, a pool large enough to swim laps. I would recommend this hotel as a very good value for the money and I would come back here in a heartbeat.

recived a good rate and enjoed are stay, just used to staying in a higher rated place.. this was an emergency, do to flooding in our home.. all the staf f was nice, and helpful. feel the pool area needed cleaned. i had to shower immeditly because I started to itch..

our room was in nice condition, the beds were comfortable, and the hot breakfast had a few different items that made it very interesting and good!

Some of the front desk people had bad attitude! Outside of that, everything else was good. It is certainly not a 5 star hotel, but is comfortable with large rooms. Beds are great.

The elevator seemed very sketchy. The gentlemen that worked the evening shift was a bit rude. We could hear the people upstairs stomping all night. i called the front desk at like 12am about it and that didnt help at all. Location isn't the best if you are looking to enjoy Denver. I stayed at another comfort suites location the day after and it was way nicer and clean.

very spacious and enjoyable. we were surprised as we had such a good rate online.

The hotel was perfect for where we needed to go. We stayed for 4 night. and the workers were very kind every night and we were greeted every morning with a smile!

We stayed here on a whim because of snow storm road closures. It was the cheapest and we didn't have any toiletries, change of clothes, etc. They provided them at the front desk, but we had to go get them ourselves. The elevator made weird noises and seemed very old, and the general condition of the hotel and room was old and worn. On the plus side, it was cheap, the included hot breakfast bar was decent, and the location is just at the bottom of the mountain foothills.

Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Clean and great quality for your money.

We were there for a weekend stay.it was.right outside of Denver.which was nice cause traffic was not bad..beds were comfy.. Pool was small but kids enjoyed it..breakfast was more than adequate..hotel alit run down but the price was right..we will go back.

We stayed 2 weeks ago at the comfort inn in tech center area and they were a lot cleaner, beds great service great. not as good location for us but, that was the reason we chose this comfort suite thinking we would get the same quality, and we did not.. The help was nice. just expected the same from tech center.

The staffs, the location and the room are so comfortable. This is the third time we stayed. I love it and sleep like a baby.

After a long day of trying to find my way through Denver, I was excited to get some nice rest. After a long nap I figured I would get some room service, I looked through the room service menu and give them a call, only to find that the menu doesn't even belong to the hotel room and they don't even have room service. So that sucked, but everything else was fantastic, including the breakfast.

I think this hotel may have been under staffed but everyone was pleasant. Overall it was great and priced very reasonable. I will stay here again.

The suite was very nice, especially since was like 2 rooms and could close off the bedroom from the sitting area. Would stay here again.

We were very pleased with this hotel. The staff was very friendly, the bed so comfortable, love the pillows. It's quiet, close to everything we need and my son loves the pool and I enjoyed the hot tub. Convenient to have a good size fridge/mini freezer and microwave. My son's favorite part: making our own waffles for breakfast in the morning. Inclusive free hot breakfast, free wi-fi, pool, comfort and friendly staff. Couldn't ask for more. We'll be staying here again.

I showed up to get keys for my room and was surprised to see that the front desk staff person was a young man dressed in dirty jeans and a t-shirt. He was nice enough, but my first impression of the hotel in general was pretty unprofessional. The room was great-very spacious and clean, although the a/c was turned on so high we left the room or a while just to get it warm enough to be comfortable. The nights stay was fine, the beds comfortable, etc. The next morning we went downtatairs to the breakfast buffet. The person at the desk was friendly and professional. The breakfast was fair. At one point, I got my car from the front of the building and pulled it around back so I could start it an let it warm up before I left for work. I came through the back door to come back to the breakfast area. The cleaning lady came up to me and told me to go to the front desk because they wanted to talk to me. I went to the desk and the lady asked me if I was staying at the hotel. Really?! I just walked by 10 minutes ago and said hello to you. I told her of I was. She said the maintenance guy saw me go through the back door and it looked suspicious. Are you kidding me? Do you make all of your guests feel like thieves just for using the back door? And I understand checking in to these type of things, but there is a MUCH different way to go about it. I left angry and embarrassed. And why should I be embarrassed? I am a paying guest!

Overall, the hotel is comfortable. The only problem with this Comfort Suites location is that everything is run down. While maintenance does a good job making sure everything is functional, cosmetically this place needs a renovation.

the housekeepers entered my room without permission and took my belongings. and then when I called the police they had me kicked out

nice place, reasonable price. Liked the extra space of the room. Furnishings adequate but not upscale, but wasn't expecting that, either.

The room wasn't as clean as it should be. There was still coffee in the pot and old grounds and there was dog hair in one of the beds. We found the room was left open all day the next day while we were at the hospital.
