Residence Inn By Marriott Dallas Plano - פלנו

We had to cut out stay short due to a medical emergency at home. We were accommodated, no problem.

Great room, great location, great breakfast. Only bad thing was that our next door neighbors were loud and slammed the door many times during wee early morning hours and woke us up.

The room size was fine but the bed was a queen size but seemed smaller and wasn't as comfortable as I thought it would be. Other than that the room was fine. The hoted staff were very polite and helpful.

We stayed for one night while attending a graduation at SMU Plano. The hotel was very close to the campus. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and adds a great value to an already reasonably priced room. I would definitely stay there again!

Very, very positive experience in all respects.

Hot Tub did not work but the pool was nice.

Cracker Barrel should be closer , walking distance for food besides Subway closer

The room was mostly clean, the staff was friendly, the neighborhood is very nice, and the breakfast was best I have had at this level, but there were a number of things that detracted from the overall experience: a stain & split seam on the ceiling from some previous water damage, the spare blanket for the sleeper sofa had many large holes, under rim of toilet was moldy from careless cleaning, and the towels were scratchy. I would stay again but I certainly wouldn't pay above a 2-star price.

Although designed for lengthy business stays, the Residence Inn in Plano worked well for an overnight stay to attend a specific event. The room included a kitchenette with a dinner setup complete with placemats greeting our arrival. Flatscreen tv rotated so it could be seen in the seating area or bedroom area. Rates were reasonable for the area, the neighborhood was quiet yet near major highways and throughfares. The only incongrous negative was a mediocre bed and lack of mattress cover.

Got this room for super cheap and it was a great deal for the price.

We come to Plano/Frisco once every month or so. After staying at a few other hotels, we finally found this one and it is our favorite! We always stay here now. Friendly, personable staff, great rooms with everything you need, and a good hot breakfast. So happy we found this place!

Lovely hotel room. It was like staying in a small apartment. Loved the full kitchen. You don't see that in most hotel rooms. Enjoyed our stay very much!!

The front desk girl was very friendly, and the room was very comfortable. My only complaint was that someone's car door knocked mine and left a scratch down to the primer, but other than that, it was a great stay. Wish people would stop backing into parking places in their big oversized vehicles because they never get them straight and end up on the line so when I park straight and in the middle, I end up with damage from the big oversized vehicle not being parked straight . Bigger parking places or require oversized vehicles to park in the back with the buses.

Excellent

The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout our stay from the lobby staff to the woman cleaning the rooms, to the maintenance guy. It was great having a hot breakfast each morning and it changed each day just enough so it didn't become boring. We only ended up eating two meals each day because we were always still full from a big breakfast every day. I would recommend this hotel and will stay there again when we are in Plano.

Great Hotel !! nice breakfast, couldnt as for much more and the price was unbeatable.

Very good bargain and a really nice facility. It looks like an apartment or condo complex in a neighborhood. Rooms were very quiet, we never heard a thing. The room was clean and nice. The staff was was pleasant. The clerk was very helpful and precise with directions to where we were going. Facility is right off Preston Rd and is close to several highways. We where there for an event at the Dr. Pepper Arena in Frisco. It was a very quick 5 minutes straight there. We will be back for several events at the Dr. Pepper Arena and have decided that we will stay here for those events. The Complimentary breakfast had eggs, sausage and pancakes with the other items.

I loved it. It was a breath of fresh air. The people at the service desk were very nice and most helpful. I appreciate that the most. Once we settled into the room, it was like home away from home, we wished we had planned a weekend instead of a night stay. I will most certainly stay there again should i need to be in Plano, TX. any other time.

The cistern was carrying some old smudges apparently of sludge f water before commissioning. The property seems to have been newly furbished. It should be possible to remove this unacceptable smudges with some effort. Otherwise the place is kept in excellent condition. People are friendly and helpful. The reception was excellent. We stayed 3 nights while new floors were being installed in our home. We were very pleased with the service, how clean the room was and the reasonable price. It appeared to be recently remodeled. We will definitely stay here again if we need to have any additional work done on our home and recommend to any out of town friends/family that come to visit

Hotel went out of the way to make the NDSU Bison stay friendly while there for the National Championship. Even allowed us to check out an hour late so that we could see our son who lives in Dallas. Staff was very friendly with providing driving directions and local restaurant information.

Clean, convenient and a kitchen. This is like having a nice studio apartment located near all the stores you might need. The service at the front desk was prompt and friendly. The grounds were well-maintained. The free breakfast was satisfying. The beds were comfy. An enjoyable place.

The Residence Inn by Marriott in Plano was in a great location -- in a nicely landscaped, tree-lined neighborhood, yet just off a major thoroughfare and close to shopping. The hotel had everything an extended-stay hotel should offer, including a quality HD television. Some less-than-comfortable pillows were the only downside. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Stayed in this hotel during our trip to see Jimmy Buffet at Pizza Hut Park. Only 10 to 15 mins away. Hotel was really nice and clean. Had a wonderful breakfast buffet. This was my first time staying at a Residence Inn and I was very impressed! Queen size bed was not big enough for a 6'5" guy was the only negative.

I enjoyed this hotel. It had everything I needed, was well thought out, and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again. The price was very reasonable for what was provided.

This hotel was a great value and close to our daughter's house. The breakfast was very good each morning. There was a huge selection of different food and several hot selections. It was super clean! We will stay here again.

The hotel was very nice. The room was very spacious with a FULL kitchen, the bed was very comfortable. The room was clean with one exception, once inside the bathroom and the door was closed there was some hair behind the door (not much but it was there), the maid may have been in a rush and just missed it who knows. This really surprised me because it did not go with the cleanliness of the rest of the room and the rest of the hotel. The maid also forgot to leave shampoo for our 2nd day. That night when I called the front desk and asked for shampoo the clerk was very apologetic and made sure I knew "they" wanted to make sure I was "very satisfied". Within 3 minutes of hanging up the phone a porter was at my door with shampoo and cream rinse. Then 5 min later I received a call from the front desk making sure I had received what I needed and asked if there was anything else they could provide me. Now thats customer service !!! The FULL breakfast was the best I have had in hotels that offer "free full breakfasts" or anywhere for that matter. The wait staff was very attentive and made sure there was always pleanty of fresh and hot food available. The hot food was prepared very well, We will be back in the area and look forward to staying there again.

The facility was clean. It was a nice size room and the breakfast was good. It was a non-smoking room, but it smells like people are still smoking in the building. Buyer Beware - Make sure and review the Pet fees before staying here.
