The stay was perfect, Except when we were checking out we had to wait until the desk clerk was done texting,And we weren't the only ones either

The beds were uncomfortable, very old mattresses, pillows were also old and flat. Service desk had no extra pillows. Night desk clerk unfriendly, didn't smile. The beds were so bad we left at 3:30 in the morning!

Bathtub faucet dripped all night.

Receptionist wasnt very friendly on check-in, wasn't very knowledgable about surrounding area but did change our room from a bottom floor to top floor after I showed her our paperwork specifying top floor only room. There was vomit in the elevator from the night we checked in till the time we checked out but the day receptionist said she would take care it after we complained a second time. Overall, room was clean, king size bed was most comfortable, and the coffee was good. The hotel was easy to find, and close to our destination. The surrounding area is fantastic for eating, shopping, movie theater, and stores.

We stayed while attending a concert. The rooms were clean. This was the second time staying in this hotel and I would stay again.

Great location. Friendly Staff, clean, comfortable room. I stay here whenever I come to town.

I accidentally left my wallet in my room, when I went back to get it they told me someone smoked in my room. I told them no one smoked in there. They said they would show me the beds sheets, I agreed then they said they were taken to be washed. I tried to get my wallet but they wouldn't give it to me unless I give them one hundred dollars. I think I'm getting screwed. Anyone else that this happens to should speak out. Also did I mention I don't smoke.

Great trip and a great stay.

The odor was bad to start off with. There seemed to be a smoking odor that was very strong in the hallways. The rooms didn't seem clean at all (We looked at three, before staying in the 4th one.) The beds had lumps on them, and the foundation matress had dirty marks on it. A chunk of something on the curtain. Accumulated dust along the walls and doorways where the day to day vacuum wouldn't reach. A very stained washcloth which had been folded to the inside. Towells with lint that stuck in my hair. Yucky! Stained carpets. Paint that had splattered and not been washed off of fixtures, etc.

Really enjoyed it! This is where we always stay when we go to Evansville! Everything that we want to do is right in the area!

The service was very good here. The people at the front desk were very helpful. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The room was as expected. No majors issues with the room at all. Some minor issues were a touch of mold near the shower, stain on the comforter, bed was a bit uncomfortable, and for some reason it seemed like the carpet had some moisture in it. We stayed for 2 nights, and were satistifed with the hotel for the money that we paid for it. We'd stay again.

The hotel was was clean and adequate, furnishings and hotel itself are old but maintained well.

when we booked rooms wanted on the bottom floor and together. they told they didn't have 2 together and 1 was on 2nd floor. which was okay but was to be no-smoking and we could smell smoking in room. so the over all stay was just okay. this is the 2nd stay we have had here and they were just okay.

The room was cheap and for the price it was decent. I liked the microwave and fridge in the room that was a nice touch. The a/c unit worked well. The sink leaked and sprayed my feet when I used it and the carpet under it was wet. Not much of a breakfast with it and it was all packed and gone by 10am. It wasn't in a great area but it was adequate. I would probably choose another hotel next time even if it meant spending a bit more.

Overall, our stay was pleasant. Our room was not clean. The bathroom had "remnants" from the previous guests. Our coffee pot had not been cleaned in a while.

Our overall stay was great the front desk was very helpful to us, not a lot of noises, our room was clean, continental breakfast was very good. I would stay there again.

The hotel room was clean the price was aforable and it was close to the Mall.

My husband had to call and complain about the slamming doors and people running up and down the hallway in the middle of the night that lasted all night long. The woman working the front desk was apologetic,professional and very polite.

The room I was in smelled bad had a bad and musty oder and the halls did to the beds were not comfortable did not sleep well room sevice was good front desk was good. They need to get new beds and get rid of the smell in all of the motel.

I'm always a little worried about the "budget motel" chains ... quality varies widely ... but this one on Morgan Avenue in Evansville was very good. The location was not really prime. It's in a somewhat spotty commercial area that fronts on a bleak industrial area right across Morgan Avenue. ButI wasn't trying to impress anybody, and I knew the area was safe. It passed the first inspection (no sign of bedbugs ... you'd be surprised how many even top-name hotels have failed that one!) Once I moved in, the bed was comfortable, they had apparently done a good job of enforcing their "no smoking" rule, and shower worked consistently and well. No sign of anything falling apart or "growing" in neglected corners in the bathroom that I've run across in some other properties in this chain. One rude surprise, when I realized that I had a room right down at the end of the hall, was that the door from the outside of the building apparently could not be opened with the key card ... a real disappointment, as that would have made access to my car a lot easier, and made trips through the lobby unnecessary. When I had a question about directions to downtown, the person on duty waas slow to get to the desk, but once her realized I needed help he was very courteous, knowledgable, and helpful. I did not try their complimentary breakfast offering in the morning, preferring to get some real food under my belt before a long day's drive in the rain. All in all, though, this was a good experience for the price, and I would definitely stay here again (although of course if there were a lady involved in my overnight plans I would opt for something a lot more upscale).

Opening the door to the room for the first time, we walked into a 90 degree room filled with paint fumes. It was supposed to be a "smoke free" room and even though all we smelled was paint, our pillows smelled like smoke when we unpacked at home. It was ok, but not sure I would stay there again.

We had two rooms; one facing east and one west. On the surface, the hotel looked OK, but after spending three nights, we can't recommend it. The east facing room had stains on the western wall that you could only see in the bright sunlight. There had to be at least 8 separate stains, at waist level, on a cream colored wall. Let your imagination wander and you'll understand. During the stay, a storm blew in. The west facing room's windows seemed to want to blow into the room. They rattled and shook violently and made sleep impossible. These are hidden flaws that the casual traveler will not see, but I'm sure there are more secure feeling hotels in Evansville.

the beds were great i have a 1 year old and she makes a big mess every day when we left they cleaned the room very well

The bed sheets and the towels looked old and yellowed. Buy new sheets and towels. The bath towels are not big enough. On 2 days my key stopped working. On one day room service did not come until 5:30 pm.

On our check out day at 7am, someone used a key card to open our door. If we did not have the chain on the door they would have walked right in. The doors do have internal locks, that prevent key card access, but we did not have anything small enough to put in the hole to stop it. About an hour later, house keeping knocked on the door to ask if were checking out that day. It was 8:30, check out was at 11.

the comforter had holes all over it. it felt like something was crawling on you when you got under the covers. just wasn't all that clean feeling or looking.

This hotel FAR exceeded my expectations, and the staff was 5-star! Whenever I'm in the Evansville area, I will make certain that I stay at this hotel.
