Would not return

Was ok for just a one night stay. Carpets are all stained and torn. Could use some updating. Breakfast did have a fairly good selection.

Right price for the stay! Convenient, clean and close for ND games. would stay again!!

Well, we arrived to find out they rented our room, then we get another and I close the door and the locking mechanism falls off the door. Ok I guess we'll trust the chain tonight. Good for the price though. Get what you pay for I guess.

The room was nice, no noise from outside. The bath needed updated or new flooring. Coffee was not kept replenished in the morning. Would stay again if needed.

Would have rather paid more for a better hotel - now I know.

Bathroom needed attention. Fan didn't work. Late night party by some of the guests.

We definitely got what we paid for. A nice, clean room in a relatively quiet hotel. There were plenty of meal options nearby, as well as a grocery store and it was very convenient to the Notre Dame campus as well. The air conditioning did not work great, but it wasn't a big deal for us.

attended the Notre Dame football game: took this hotel as it was one of two in our price range..have stayed at many Hotel 8 's thruout colorado, and utah and were pleased. they were remodeled and very taseful and pleasant.Unfortunately, this was OLD, TIRED, and needed a complete makeover. Though the staff was pleasant and helpful, the accomodations were tight, the blanket on the bed was certainly not fresh, and could/would not invite anyone back for a drink. The surrounding motels, Red Roof, Quality,and others appeared modernized. I would NOT book it again.We are Motel 8 trip reward membes for many years.

The hotel was just alright. The Hotel is old and in an old scary (next to a gun range) neighborhood. The rugs were old and pulled. Other than being within 20 minutes os Notre Dame, it is very overpriced for what you get.

On every occasion visiting the desk, I would have to use the phone on the counter to call someone and wait for them to come out from the back room. Also, the rooms have handwritten tv channel guides with "124" channels, but you really only get 40, of which are mostly ones I have never heard of; puzzling as well, there was no NBC channel. Being on the second floor, the bed would shake when anyone heavy footed was walking around in the next room, felt like little earthquakes was happening on a regular basis. Very difficult to stay asleep throughout the night. The air conditioner worked well, but sounded like a 747 jetliner at high speed, it did a good job drowning out the noise of the adjoining room but not the earth quaking bed. The fixtures in the bathroom were in disrepair and hanging loosely out of the walls. The hotel is in a great location, specially across the street from a hardware store for which I don't think the hotel managers are aware of.this due to the condition of some of the fixtures.

This hotel was surprisingly good for how inexpensive it was! The only small complaint: bed and pillow were not very comfortable. But the room was spacious and very quiet.

It was a spur of the moment trip....would not recommend this to anyone...actually told people not to go there!

Comfy rooms, a desk to get my work done, and the breakfast isn't 5 star by any means, but its decent frozen waffles yogurt and cereal. Definitely worth the 5 extra dollars to stay here next time.

Building did not seem secure. Both entrances were not keyed and appeared to be open all night. No one at desk when we arrived. Sign said "dial 0" and then someone came. I would NOT have been comfortable with this level of security if I were traveling alone.

The staff were very helpful and knew the area well, The rooms were clean and comfy and what we expected for the price.

Because the room was not well maintained I left two days early.

This is just a basic, simple hotel. No frills. A place to sleep, shower and go to the bathroom. If your expecting more, you will be disappointed.

This hotel was nothing special at all. It is actually one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. I have stayed in many Super 8 Hotels, but this one was very dirty.

I always have enjoyed the Super 8 brand. However this dump did the name no good at all. The appearance of the place was very poor. The beds were just terrible. It was like sleeping on a matress some one had pulled out of a dumpster. What they had the nerve to call breakfast, was nothing more than some some generic pastries of lower quality than Little Debbie treats. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! However don;t think it is the same at all Super 8 branches because later in my two week trip I stayed at a stellar Super 8.

The room was very roomy and the hotel, for the most part, quiet.

It was just me and I was out most of the time, however, I would not bring my family to this hotel. The linens were old, the towels were old and some stained. OK for business but not for a family outing. On a positive note, the room had a microwave and a fridge.

Super 8 is owned by different owners, the Super 8 in Elkhart, Indiana would not work with me, after I or them made a mistake on the phone about dates of my stay. They would not compromise with me and made me pay again for two nights that I had already had paid for. I went to another and stay there. It put a hardship on by expenses.

Clean and friendly place to stay. Reasonable rates

My son was traveling on I 80 with no money to spare. I reserved a room for him with my credit card. But then he had to pay a 50.00 deposit. no dinner for him that night.

This motel had some problems.The rooms were small yet it was clean. We had to let the management know that the microwave was broken so we would not be held responsible for it being broken. If we needed anything it felt like we were bothering her and when we did get help it seems like it took forever.

carpets throughout hotel filthy,,odor, industrial jail/prison rock hard old.mattress, zero water pressure on warm or hot., cold was slightly better., filthy bath mat in shower., black underneath., didnt even try using shampoo, as shower was uninhabital., wife wouldnt step near it., good continental breakfast though., milk /3 juices/, waffles, muffins danish, good quality breakfast area., unlike rest of place., looks good from check in area., dont be fooled., wouldnt pay $25.00 to stay here.again.

We were pleasantly surprised by the motel. Very nice management, conveniently located off the exit and a comfortable clean room treated us after a long day of travel.

What a simple hotel that provided everything you needed. It was clean, quiet, and within a few feet of dozens of restaurants. For that price, you can't ask for more!

It is what it is -- just needing a place to sleep, and you are good to go. Good location off of the interstate.

I was at the hotel for a business stay. It was difficult hauling my equipment and getting my stuff through the doors (one piece was rather large). I imagine I would have had that problem at just about any hotel. Other than that, the bed was comfortable; the shower had nice pressure and was warm enough. The room had enough workspace to set up a laptop and printer, with additional workspace. Way more room for clothes than I needed. Mini-fridge worked fine. The room was a little short on outlets for the business person to set up shop, although I was able to get by.

4 adults and a kid in a room with 2 queen beds. Thought it was gonna be a tight fit, but surprisingly it wasn't. Nice place to spend a night. Bathrooms need a bit more work. Otherwise no complaints.
