The hotel is old but clean. Great service. We've stayed before and have never had any problems.

The hotel is nice and close to airport which I need. Very nice that they have a room that you can bring your pet but the room was filthy, Mold in window wells and around bathtub. Dirt behind bed and all around baseboards.I suggest that a good linoleum in room where pets are aloud instead of carpets as the carpet was filthy.

Very good;parking for a week excellent enabling us to drive home from return flight.

Very dirty

We were right by a trailer park, noisy. The rooms were slightly dirty, we were not comfortable.

Very basic and behind the times. Checking in, the receptionist wasn't impressed with NOT booking through them instead and hinted I could had done better if I had. I don't buy it. The room had an alright bed, small TV and WiFi. The facility does not offer a business centre or courtesy computers.

Good, basic hotel. A place to sleep

Very convenient location to airport,ferry service and Sidney area tourist attractions.Breakfast included was just what you needed to set you off for the day.When hairdryer didn't work in our room attendant was very helpful to offer an alternate room for use.Friendly staff.Good value for money, but it is not the Ritz.

The condition of the room was not thoroughly clean, nor well maintained. The shower/tub had a slow drip which had a large discoloration near the drain tub (from mildew perhaps). The room was old and nothing modern. I would not stay here again. For the price, it was okay.

This is a very convenient and economical option when wanting to stay near to the airport. As others have said, you get what you pay for. My room smelled a little funky

I was overwhelmed with the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff..from the manager to hlousekeeping, to front desk staff, to maintenance...in my opinion, this is the most hospitable hotel on the entire island. Staff went over and above in assuring that i had all the help I needed. Furthermore, I observed them assisting other guests with the same courtesy and dignity. in addition, I was able to relax and get to all the attractions I wanted to see with ease...kudos to management and staff!

Close to hospital, airport and restaurants. Continental breakfast was minimal. I had a view overlooking a trailer park. Free wireless worked just fine. Staff was friendly and helpful. I'd say it was worth the price. I wasn't expecting a Marriott. They delivered what they promised for a reasonable price.

The staff when beyond necessary to help me and I would recommend this hotel if you want friendly and helpful people greeting you on arrival. Usually everyone is tired and just want to get to their rooms quick and with out any hassles. This was the case with me and I appreciate their efficiency.

We were quite skeptical of this hotel based off of reviews but it was the best economical and geographical location for a hotel at that time in our trip. We were pleasantly surprised though. The only problem that we could see but that never posed a problem for us was the proximity of the trailer park next door. Though there seems to be a sense of ownership from those trailer park residents over this hotel as the hotel experiences very minimal theft. All in all, we would pick this hotel again and we've stayed at our fair share of hotels that cost over twice as much a night and enjoyed them as well.

This hotel states that it has a 24-hr desk. This is not true. My plane arrived late and when I got to the hotel, there was a sign in the window that the desk was closed and would open again at 7:00 in the morning. So, at 12:30 in the morning, I had to find a place to stay. I decided not to return to the hotel and was unable to obtain any refund for a 4-night booking. In order to submit this review, I had to rate components of the hotel I did not experience, but there was no option for "undecided" or "don't know".

Heat was very noise bath tub could have used a good cleaning

Location was what we needed-close to an airport, However, right next-door was a very unsavory-looking trailer-park. Not sure how safe our vehicle would be to leave, so we didn't. Outside the hotel was very appealing. The front-desk employees were extremely helpful and courteous. Definitley, they made the stay tolerable. The condition of the room was very questionable.Glad I got the room as inexpensively as i did.

Convenient location for both Sidney and Victoria. Rooms were clean and service was polite and good. I'd suggest a small bottle of hand lotion to be added to the amenities in the bathroom.

WE FOUND THE RUGS WERE VERY DIRTY AND DID NOT EVEN TAKE SHOES OFF UNTIL BEDTIME. PAPER ITEMS WERE BEHIND LITTLE DRESSER BETWEEN BEDS. DID NOT LIKE THE LOOSENESS OF THE SHEETS, AS IF THEY HAD BEEN RE-USED(NOT TUCKED IN PROPERLY AND DIDNT SEEM TO BE CLEAN SHEETS. BEDS WAY TOO SMALL!! WILL NOT BE BACK.

The staff was so nice and helpful. It was great to receive the great welcome after dealing with the long-weekend traffic and all the people on the ferry.Hope to come back again. Thanks

We were up at 4:00 am, took the 7:00 am ferry to Victoria and arrived at the Super 8 before 9:00 am. Their check-in time was 2:00 pm but we were fortunate as they found us a room we could check into right away. They couldn't do enough for us...very friendly and courteous. They offered us continental breakfast upon our arrival and the manger made us a fresh pot of coffee. We were able to take a short nap before heading out for the day. We just can't say enough good about how we were treated....EXCELLENT and we felt they went above and beyond in terms of ensuring we would be happy. We will return and we highly recommend the Super 8 at 2477 Mount Newton Cross Rd · Central Saanich . Once they read this review they'll know who we are...TWO VERY HAPPY CUSTOMERS!

We found the hotel had not been updated and the bathroom seemed dirty. We chose this hotel as it was close to the ferry terminal at Swartz Bay and friends that live in Sidney, BC.

My room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff, especially a desk clerk named, Mandy, were very helpful in making my stay a very pleasant . Also, even though I arrived one hour before check in time, the staff arranged my room without making me wait, or uncomfortable.

friendly helpful staff. Price high for Super 8. Next to a down at the heal trailer park that worried my wife about our car's safety

The staff were very pleasent, helpfully and polite couldn't ask for more. As for the motel/hotel, they like most places in Victoria triple the price for a room during the summer months and I find it extremely rude. I know they need to balance out there costs for the year but it feels like your being robbed especially when the place is a one or two star at best. Normally for saftey reasons first I would never stay at a place like this but it was the only room left close to the area I needed to be in and we were only staying one night. The hotel is surrounded by a grubby industrial park on one side and a trailer park filled and I mean filled with garbage on the other. In fact a number of the trailers appeared tobe in accidents at one time or another. The driveway entrance onto the motel/hotel is more of a laneway behind a gas station and a fast food restaurant. My wife felt very unsafe, she would not even go out to the car unless someone was with her.

lovely staff make you feel very welcome. it's a good clean functional motel.

I booked a room through hotels. ca. I said I was bringing a pet and the person I dealt with even went as far as to ask me the weight of the dog. When I got to the hotel late on a rainy night, the manager had no info about the pet. He accommodated me but I ended up on the second floor, far from an exit. Also, hotels.ca did not let me know there was a charge for pets. The room was just fine - quiet and clean. I did try to use the hotel phone and was told the switchboard was "not in operation"but with cell phones, that's not a big deal. I'm just glad I didn't end up sleeping in the parking lot with my elderly dog.

You get what you pay for. For the price, it's not bad. It's older and not as nice but it was pretty clean. Staff was really friendly too.

You never know what your going to get when you reserve on line. It is an older hotel, and you can see where they have tried to make some upgrades in the past to a hotel that I'm guessing was converted to non-smoking at some point. If we return to the area we would most likely find a a hotel closer to Victoria.
