Super 8 Irving DFW Airport/South - אירווינג

Decent hotel at a decent price located right on a major freeway. Free Wi-Fi is important, a little slow but better than using phones 3g service. Well lit parking lot for safety.

This hotel could use some upgrading. It was ok on cleaniness but it had an order about it that didn't smell clean.

Noisy - Doors at end of the building broke and not secured - totally uncomfortable with the hotel stay. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Thought it felt more like a cheap truck stop hotel. Lobby & halls were a bit dingy and reeked of cigarette smoke. Surprisingly the 2nd (or maybe it was 3rd) floor room I was in was relatively clean. It didn't stink of smoke, the linen was clean, towels clean, carpet relatively stain free, walls clean, bathroom and tub quite clean and not dingy. I wasn't impressed w/lobby and exterior halls but the room was very nice for this place.

I spent the night here and did not encounter any problems.

When we first arrived to the room everything looked decent. So we proceeded to take a shower & go to sleep. While sleeping we noticed the AC in our room kept going off & on. We complained & they put us in another room. The new room was 100 times better than our original room & I started to wonder why they hadn't put us there in the first place considering there were many rooms to choose from. The rooms were clean, but the hallways had me debating if i wanted to eat breakfast there. But i did anyway :)

very convient to airport, several restaurants,and major shopping. Easy access to both Dallas and Fort Worth.

Conveniant shuttle and the breakfast is very good

Thought we were booking at the other super 8 was really disappointed to find ourselves in the 80's with the stench of stale smoke

The walls in the shower are molded and mildewed you can tell that they just paint right over it, the bed is old and uncomfortable the pillows are a shame, they dont have any form of business center, just a computer with no printer or fax machine, so a business trip at this hotel is out of the question. Its just old and outdated they need to renovate it. Totally didnt enjoy my stay at all...

Everything was clean

I had a wonderful stay at this Super8. I caught a great price and the directions were very clear and concise so the trip there was a cinch! This place is pet friendly and easily made me and my furry pals feel very welcome. Thank you very much and keep up the great work! I will be back again even if the four-legged family members don't come with me.

Only needed a place to sleep for the night.

The room smelt like a pack of cigarettes. If u want comfort don't choose this hotel. I hadn't ever stayed at a super 8 n wasn't gonna b n room long...but from the look n feel of the mattress...I NEVER WILL!

Was decent for the price and room was comfortable.

Good customer service; good lcoation; close to restaurants and shopping mall; clsoe to the airport and hwy 183

I would not stay again, or recommend it to anyone, the hotel has mice, the next day prior to checking out a mice ran past my husband in the hallway and ran under the door into another room, thank God, I checked out that day, I told the lady at the desk she gave an excuse

We stayed at this hotel for the game the next day. People at front desk were nice. Elevator makes very loud noise. Kinda scary actually. The bed was "denty" and bouncy as if it hasnt been changed in forever. Address was not correctly found on gps. Breakfast was alright. The orange juice was nasty and all the hotel housekeepers ate breakfast so it was hard to find a place to sit. I would stay here again if it was a last choice, but this hotel wont be on my favorites list.

The maid never came to our room. We did not recieve any fresh towels!

The hotel was convenient to Irving and restaurants. The hotel was clean and quiet. I would stay there again.

The first room we checked into had faulty air conditioning. In 100+ degree weather, that is unacceptable. The second room didn't have the amenities of the first one - no frig, no ice bucket, smaller, but the A/C cooled down, eventually. The ice machine on the 3rd floor was broken, there wasn't one on the 2nd floor, so I had to go to the 1st floor each time I needed ice. The TV had some problem which resulted in a double vision and had very few channels to choose from. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water.

It seemed like everything is either broken or going to break on the next time it is used. First the elevator was old and creaky, I really started to think that I was going to get stuck at any moment. The ac was so loud that every time it turned on it, we would all wake up, so it made for not a restful night. We were on the third floor which was supposed to be a non-smoking floor, well, the room would stink of cigarette smoke occasionally, but I should mention, we were out of the room around 8am and would come back between 8-10 and we would always get the smell, it was pretty bad. The toilet flush was also incredibly loud, seriously this place is horrible when it comes to noise pollution. I will never stay here again, and probably at any other Super 8's. Now I'm not very picky, and I've stayed at a range of different places, this really was the worst. The only pro was the proximity to the highway and the different locations we were visiting, but that really has nothing to do with the hotel as I could've picked other places in that same area. Do yourself a favor, STAY SOME PLACE ELSE.

Easy access, quiet, clean, friendly staff at desk. Air conditioning worked very well, considering the outside temp over 100. Small and simple lobby and eating area. Free breakfast - if you like pastries, waffles and cereal - I don't; also coffee, milk, juices. Convenient to many restaurants and shopping. I would stay again.

The hotel was nice. Wen I first got there it was early n they let u check in. It was extremely hot. The grandkids were tired, eventho they were jot staying, their fleight wasn't leaving to earlier. Than God they let us n early. We will return dis weekend. Breakfast was not great but wad for my husband an son.

The room was pretty much what we expected - nothing fancy, but clean & comfortable. The AC worked, but was loud. The elevator felt like it was on its last leg, but it worked fine every time we used it. Breakfast included waffles, toast, bagels, juice, & fruit. I'd stay again at the same price.

It's a Super 8 and you shouldn't expect anything more. Children above me running around till midnight can be heard like a bunch of elephants and the staff did nothing.

The hotel was nice for the price. Good price for a convenient hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The entire hotel smells like cigg smoke. No matter where you go, people are smoking and the hotel does nothing about it.

Very good hotel and close to the airport. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great.

It more or less was what I expected from a hotel of this caliber. If you need a cheap room and a decent free breakfast, then this place will suffice. The only downside I can think of was the broken ice machine on my floor. It was inconvenient to have to go to the lobby anytime I wanted ice.
