Worst ever! High way noise all night long. Was woken up at 1am, asked to change room! Don't go!

I get the whole you get what you pay for saying but this place takes the cake!

Just a quick overnight in Salinas before heading down the coast along Hwy 1. This place was ok. A couple of sketchy women walking around very late to the back of the motel. We had did our laundry there on this premise. It was very hard to find a place to eat (11 p.m.) but we found a fast food drive-thru. Overall it was bad but I have stayed at better places.

This is my second time staying here and would recommend to friends and family. Great value it may not be a five star hotel but purfect for a place to stay

Cost was right, but the noise of the highway right outside the door disrupted an otherwise acceptable hotel room.

The Room was clean, the bed was squeaky, and the location was too close to the Hwy 101, I guess I thought it was further away when looking it up on the Map. For Breakfast they have Costco Dannish, Costco yoghurt and the coffee was watered down and 2 types of cereal.

Easy to find, just off the 101. Basic motel type. Bathroom immaculate! Laundry facilities. Nowhere close by to go and eat. Worst breakfast on my month long road trip across the states! Only cereal, coffee and pastries. Eaten standing up!

Very noisy as it is right by Highway 1. You could hear traffic. The room was clean, except for the bathroom - it was like there was a film on the bottom of the tub. Beds were comfortable.

we did not stay long just a quick stop over, but everything was great, clean and friendly.

Once in room everything was O.K. Very clean. Continental breakfast less than wonderful. Very close to freeway so quite noisy.

Not the best hotel to pick for quiet and recuperation. Not a very good shower. Not even a comfortable breakfast room to sit. If you like coffee and pastry on the run then this will suit you.

Most noisy place I have ever stayed in my life. The room was about 20 yards away from a highway ramp and even at about the same level. The neighborhood does not seem safe at all. Creepy people kept walking around the hotel. Cars pulled up behind the hotel leaving again short after. Definetly don't recommend staying there. Person at the counter rather watched football than caring for us.

price for a overnight stay was ok, but the hotel is just next to the freeway and it is very loud all times.

I was pleasantly surprised...although the outside looked a little rough, the inside was great. Clean,fresh,good smelling,granite sink and newish bathroom...having the mini frig was perfect too. At first glance the neighborhood looked questionable but it was located.with easy access to the freeway and the main roads for food etc. I forgot my phone charger in the room but after a quick phone call, the attendant immediately went and got it. Its been mailed to me (the same day) .i will be staying here again! r a quick call the person who answeredand the the phone immediately went

Overall it works. You get what you pay for and this worked for its purpose.

Hotel room was a little small. Daughter and I kept running into each other. But it was clean and comfortable. The desk clerk was preoccupied with his computer when we checked in. Took five minutes before he acknowledged us. He was very rude. The cleaning staff, however, was very nice.

Advertised free wi-fi and breakfast but the wi-fi was unsecured so wasn't able to use work computer (also heard others complaining about speed). Breakfast was coffee, juice and choice of two cold cereals and a selection of packaged danishes.

It was pleasant and was reasonably priced. I would recommend it to anyone.

Room was clean but bathroom seamed to have mold

Room had several minor defects. Sink light didn't work. No TV channel guide. Shampoo not re-supplied second day. But overall still a good rating, as it's a nice, clean place.

Breakfast had very heavy sweet roll - not good - if they want to improve, have bread, butter and jam that people can toast.

My destination was Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca for the MotoGP. The hotel was close to the track, very comfortable and clean. Didn't have any issues at all.

The control on the air conditioner unit was faded so I couldn't see wat setting was for cool. I tried them all and it never got cool. I told the front desk and asked for another room. He came and played with the unit for 30 minutes swearing that I had it wrong....before finally admitting that it wasn't working and gave me another room. Staff was very nice though.

Nice staff and cleverly decorated bathrooms. Rooms are clean and neat--very standard. One of the (non-smoking) rooms smelled like smoke, but I guess they can't control their guests.

Customer service was lousy..... In the room the first thing we noticed was a cigarette burn, stain and a four inch tear on the bed spread. The bottom of the bath tub was dirty and the bed was very uncomfortable. The irony of the burn in the bed spread was this was a no smoking room. We will never stay there again nor refer this location to any one. The breakfast was a joke and we received a dirty look from the receptionist when we took four pastries leaving only two. The motel right across from there was only half per night of what we paid for the dump we were in. Wish we booked there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok hotel with a very weak free breakfast. I had to wake up the staff so we could get some prepackaged muffins. I guess they like to sleep in past breakfast.

Everythinng worked out fine until I saw that I was charged by the hotel itself and hotels.com for my one night stay. The desk clerk should have asked if I had a reservation and not assumed I just showed up off the street. He should have figured it out when I never even asked the rate. The management will refund me so I'm just charged once. The hotel worked out fine for my needs. I would go again.

not satisfied, the owner has no education and does not know customer service, is a person as 45 years or so. I have a triple AAA card and I applied the discount because I did not even ask for it. A customer is a customer and must be treated with complete education. The breakfast there is a lie "just have coffee and cakes old," there is wireless internet. cleaning the hotel rooms! congratulations! excellent

Good stay until the WiFi went down for two days. Had to go next store to Motel 5 and use their WiFi inorder to complete my work.

When I stayed at the hotel there was no Wifi connection.

The hotel isn't in the best area but the room was surprisingly comfortable and clean.. it has all the basics a bed, tv, fridge, microwave ect... Because its off the freeway it was really noisy but it wasn't a bad hotel and I would stay there again if I was on a tight budget..

We really enjoyed our stay here. The family who runs it is lovely and take pride in their hospitality. Thank you!

Most disgusting room i have ever stayed in. Wet floors, Mildew laden curtains, non working TV, bad internet, no lights, no alarm clock, no coffee pot, no breakfast- received free muffin only. and had to wait until 9:30 for the manager to wake up to receive it, heater did not work! Every commercial establishment in the immeadiate area had bars on the windows and doors even Taco Bell! Decided to cancel this hotel and book elsewhere. Felt like i was in "Gangland" PLEASE RE-THINK this hotel DO NOT STAY HERE!!! If you want sleep on the Freeway go ahead at least it's free!

The people working there were nice and helpful. The room was tight to get around in but it was clean and we had a good quiet stay. Not all the lights in the room worked so we had to do a bit of feeling around to find a functional light when we came in at night. The WIFI was incredibly slow and kept kicking us off so that we had to sign in again and wait forever for it to work - again. The grounds and the surrounding area were uninteresting but Old Town Salinas was just a short drive away. A continental breakfast was available but not until 8 am so we missed it as we had to be on the road early, but there was a coffee maker in the room. There was also a refrigerator in the room which was great. Overall it was a very decent stay in a basic room at a very good price with friendly service. I would stay there again.

When I got there I could it was not very good. The TV was huge but all out of whack. I spent 35 minutes and got it working well. The freeway was extremely noisy, suggest you not stay on the south end where they put me. This hotel was barely, and they should spend a bit more on the hotel and less on advertising. Not worth the money.
