Super 8 Motel - Helena - הלנה ‏(והסביבה)

Nice people and a good breakfast they refilled the whole morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again

We were very disappointed in our whole Super 8 experience. Will say however that the staff were friendly and accommodating with what they had to work with. We checked out a night early..... thats how good it was.

There were 3 in our group - 3 separate rooms. All had hair in the bathtub / shower, 2 beds were clean 1 had crackers in it. 1 did not want cleaning service during our 2 night stay, 1 room had only 1 of the beds in the room fixed while the other was left unmade. Breakfast and coffee was plentiful, all pre-made but still was there for us. Upon check-in, 1 of the rooms had a door propped open... There was a distinct pot smell at 2 am in the hallway. Staff tried to be helpful but possibly were held back by management. We would not stay here again.

The drain in the shower was not connected to the lever, so it could not be lifted to let the water drain. I had to take plug out and of course at the end of the plug hardware was a glob of wet hair. Gross. Also my non-smoking room was located beside an outside entrance which had an ashtray mounted. The smoke drafted into my room so bad that I was congested all night. I finally put a sign in my window that said "Please do not smoke by this window". Of course that didn't stop the smokers. The room other than those issues was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the microwave and fridge were handy. I always stay at Super 8 when traveling and rarely have issues with anything.

Visited Helena to visit my son at Carroll College. My room was clean, they had a nice breakfast and staff was great! Excellent value for under $60 a night.

Our stay at the Super 8 in Helena, MT, was OK. The rooms were worn, but clean. We booked through hotels.com, but the hotel lost the reservation and ended up double-charging us (they had a new worker). Luckily, hotels.com was awesome and called the hotel to help us. The breakfast was far better than any other continental breakfast we have had in a long time. Omelets, waffles, pastries, fruit, oatmeal, juice, cereal, coffee.....did I forget something? Our kids were very happy!

I reserved the room for a 5 night stay. I left early the first morning, and when I returned from class later that day I found my room had not been cleaned. The next morning I requested my room be cleaned, and clean towels restocked. I did get new towels each day after that, but the room was not cleaned well. Was very disappointed in the entire stay.

Motel could have been cleaner. dusty room. Man at desk did not understand how to handle credit card cancellations.

The staff needs to learn that a smile alone does not a good customer service experience make. When my key card was shut off, each day of my stay, requiring me to go downstairs with all my stuff and back up to my room a second time, EACH day, all I received was a smile and "here you go," when they handed me the refreshed key card. No apology for the inconvenience, not attempt to resolve the problem. Also, no one bothered to make up my room, so I had to actually request housekeeping services to which they smiled and said, "We'll take care of it!" No apology for the fact that it wasn't already done. The room looked clean on the surface, but the edges of the carpet had not been vacuumed in so long that they were white with dust and lint. There were hand prints on the mirrors and surfaces of all the furniture. There was even mildew growing on the shower head. The bed was like sleeping on a brick, and the pillows were old and lumpy. On the positive side, it was quiet and the internet had a very strong signal.

Very pleased with my room and service. Quiet area with great access to capitol and related sights .

Nice hotel close to I15 and great breakfast.

We stayed overnight at the Super 8 in anticipation of an early flight out of the Helena airport. The room was clean and comfortable and met our needs perfectly. We arrived about 7:00 at night and appreciated the free internet. We would definitely stay there again.

The lobby has been upgraded and is very nice. I was impressed when I walked in. Unfortunately the rooms were a different story. This hotel still has the old-school not very warm bedspreads and no flat-screen TV's. Breakfast was fair with omelets in a warming tray and waffles to put in the toaster. The heater in the room was very noisy as well. I would not stay here again for the above reasons.

The rooms were noisey, our cold water in the bathroom sink had very low volume, it was almost non existant.

Motel was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly, went out of their way to help.

The staff were nice and friendly. They were thoughtful enough to provide a maintenance card to let them know what if anything needed fixing. Bright and airy breakfast area. Convenient RV or Big Rig truck parking right across the street. They are on top of their game.

Smelled like cheese throught the whole hotel. Walls were thin.

The Internet connection is too complicated attempts to sell

The Super 8 Helena charged me an extra "TP" fee before letting me check in. The desk clerk said that Hotels.com would not add the local tax to its list of charges, so I had to shell out more money. This kind of gouging has not happened to me before with Hotels.com reservations, so the property may be responsible for the superfluous expense.

Overall, it was a good experience. The room above my head creeked & popped with every movement above. So much so, my dog barked at it.

Hot breakfast was fantastic

We enjoyed our stay very much!!

When you choose the least expensive accomodation I guess this is what to expect: clogged showerheads that cut pressure, the cheapest paper products and linens, the worst property (next to the freeway) on the block, courtyard layout so you can't open your drapes, styrofoam plates and plastic cutlery for your continental breakfast, useless WIFI signal. Staff were pleasant enough but didn't look too thrilled to be there, probably couldn't be much of a company to work for.

Reasonable price. Good location, clean

Stayed there for one night and was quite pleased with the hotel. It was clean and the eggs at breakfast were nice. Would stay there again.

Lumpy bed followed by good breakfast. Wifi very,very slow-gave up.

Stayed for one night en route to Glacier Nat'l Park from SLC. Convenient location off freeway, close to gas & fast food, makes a good pit stop stopover.Included breakfast was better than expected.

My non-smoking room and as marked on door smelled like chain smokers had just left. Yuck. Will not stay here again. Smoking banned for quite awhile yet room smells awful which makes me wonder about cleaning. Used to stay in Super 8s alot, been a few years, but I hope this is not what they've become.

We had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The room was quiet and we had a peaceful rest.

Excellent service and breakfast

Excellent - we stay here all the time when going thru Helena but you have to book ahead of time as they are always booked solid. Hotel has easy access from highways and good access to shops and resaurants

additional charges added - like the $1.00 had to pay because it was part of the hotel and Helena Business policy. it is not the money, it is the principle. After paying taxes in addition to my bills, I had to pay another extra dollar for hotel improvement. the beds need a change, there bed-covers are horrendous. the only good thing about the place is the lady who cooks the breakfast. she is a perfection and should go and work somewhere else.
