Super 8 Zanesville Oh - זיינסוויל

My only complaints would be no elevator (but stairs easy to maneuver), cover missing on air conditioner (blowing air directly on one side of bed), and missing a phone (but staff very apologetic about that.)

The room was too close to the interstate, the busy truck traffic was not consistent with a good nights sleep. We were not allowed to change rooms!

I found the staff very friendly. Was disappointed the free internet was a computer in the lobby. I found the location easy to come and go from. The room was clean. All and all, I would gladly return, if I'm ever in the area.

Room was very clean, manager and staff were very friendly . Enjoyed the stay. Wish all super 8's were this nice.

I had a very enjoyable stay.

The stay was okay. It's the fact that they billed the credit card I gave them for "incidentals" for the amount of a night's stay that upsets me. I paid for the room via Hotels.com just like I always do; the charge on my card comes up for a night I didn't even stay. I called them and they have reversed the charges, or at least told me they would. So, if you do stay here be very aware of what charges go on your credit card.

Nice comfortable The staff was very courteous and helpful. Continental breakfast was good. The reason I gave it 3 stars was because we were given a smoking room without even giving us an option. Since it was late and had all our luggage in the room we ended up sleeping there. Please make sure you ask the front ask the kind of room you want before unpacking your luggage.

Room was fine and staff was great but we were supposed to be in a "Non-Smoking" room and it reeked from smoke odor. There was even an ashtray in the room, although it was clean. It's a shame because otherwise it would have been rated all 4's and 5's.

Price is a little high but you do get a simple breakfast and location was near lots of restaurants. Would stay here again. Only downside bed was very hard but prefer that over too soft.

This was a decent place to stop along the road, although it was a bit expensive considering we stayed at a better hotel in a resort town on the same trip for less and got more. Although there is a price match guarantee, it seems Zanesville itself is inordinately expensive and if I make the same trip again I will probably just stop in another town altogether. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and well-appointed, although the hall smelled strongly of cigarettes. Its location surrounded by gas stations right on the highway was quite convenient for our needs but made me somewhat nervous about the car, especially considering the "not responsible for theft" sign in the parking lot. The bed was VERY comfortable and we had no trouble sleeping well.

stopped for an overnight and was nicely surprised. good value, nice supportive bed. we did not stay for complimentary breakfast due to time constraints, but would recommend as it looked good - served as early as 6am. dated hotel but our room was clean and allowed our 2 small dogs. very quiet. easy access from I-70. will stay again when travelling this route. front desk very helpful switching to 1st floor room.

Good location on I-70. Stayed several times as an enroute stop over. Nice staff, clean and quiet. Pice is creeping up over time. Becoming expensive relative to value. Up 20%+ in two years.

Was very satisfied with our stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Have stayed there before and was satisfied with the room and service, which is why we stayed there on this trip. Would recommend to others.

Stayed here several times driving cross country on I-70. (Exit 152) Always clean, comfortable and a good value.

aside from the rude desk attendant , everything in the immediate area closes at 10 . the room was filthy , there was greene mold on the top of the nightstand .. , long hairs along the wall, a greasy hand print above the shower , empty creamer packages under the dresser ..i will never ever stay at a super 8 again !!

I've stayed at this hotel before. It's fine for my needs of only a few nights. But this time I was in a room on the ground floor that, despite the working air conditioner, was always excessively humid. I knew because a cereal box I had became limp feeling, and a bar of Neutrogena soap I had always "sweated' and reduced greatly in size the short time I was there. There was always a dank feeling like being in a basement. If I were spending more time in the room I'd probably have asked to be changed. But the people working there were okay.

The hotel room was spartan, but exactly what you would expect from a two-star place. However, the beds were not made with fitted sheets; the staff had used flat sheets as the bottom sheet. It made sleeping somewhat of an uncomfortable experience.

After reading the other reviews, I was very hesitant to book a room here, but I didn't have much $ this trip. The other less-than-enthusiastic reviews were fairly correct, and one gets what one pays for here. The room was basically clean, as was the bathroom, but the mildewed carpet smell in the room was overpowering. I never let my bare feet touch that floor. Ick. The hallways smelled of smoke, although the floor was supposedly non-smoking. The other clientele made noise until 11 p.m. and then began stomping overhead and slamming doors around 5 a.m., so sleep was difficult. For the money, it was an acceptable motel, but I'd hope they would replace the carpet and take care of the smoke smell.

Stayed here on the way to and from Indiana.... Would have never stayed on the way back if I would have known the condition of this hotel prior to booking!! Pay a little more go to the Hampton! Reserved a non-smoking king room, got a smoking double!! Too tired to argue about it at check in! Room stunk of must and smoke. The bathroom no matter how "clean" it looked, SMELLED of urine!! The hotel needs SERIOUS updates to stay in business! GROSS!

What do you expect for so little money? Clean but basic. Great for an overnight stay. Quiet except for the air conditioner so cool the room down and then turn it off to go to sleep.

The room was fine except that there was an underlying odor. Someone had smoked in thi8s smoke free room and tried to mask the odor. Masking did not work!

Stayed several times traveling cross country on I-70. Clean, comfortable, good value. Mant food choices 2 miles East at Zanesville exits.

If you only need somewhere to sleep for a few hours, which is what my partner and I needed it for, I would recommend the Super 8 in Zanesville. If you are planning to do anything else, I would highly recommend another, cleaner motel/hotel. The room smelt musky and felt humid. The air conditioner was extremely loud. I'm glad I was there less than 12 hours. Not all Super 8's are this subpar, but the majority are. You get what you pay for.

The Super 8 was clean, and the front desk staff was friendly. A light but good breakfast in the morning. Nothing special, but a great place to stay for the night!

The hotel matched my expectations in relation to price. No frills, room was clean, but had a funky disinfectant smell. Bed was comfortable and staff was friendly. Convenient to interstate, McDonald's and A& W Root Beer

I stayed 4 nights at this hotel, luckily I was on the first floor because this hotel does not have an elevator, my mother and sister were not so lucky my mom had to crash in my room because she cannot go up stairs. I had a non-smoking room but this hotel has smoking rooms so the hallways sometimes smells of smoke. The complimentary breakfast was constantly being restock which is good. Within walking distance to McDonalds, A&W, Blimpies, and a gas station. The rooms are pretty generic hotel rooms but they are also the cheapest around.

good clean hotel had no problems

Just off Exit 152 of I-70. Classic Super 8 motel. Well maintained, clean and comfortable. Fast food at this exit, many other choices convenient 5 min. drive east on I-70. Good overnight stop enroute.

I booked this hotel for a weekend and was very pleased. The room was very clean. The continental breakfast was clean, well organized, and well stocked. The desk manager was friendly and gave us restaurant suggestions. It is a great hotel!!
