Days Inn - Brunswick Bath Area - ברונסוויק

The room was nice, and the staff was also. However the building smelled terrible. Given the choice next time i will be staying elsewhere

Great value, very clean, attentive service, adequate for a one night stay. I appreciated fresh fruit and eggs for breakfast too!

For the most part we were very happy with our stay at this Days Inn. It seems to be an older hotel, but is clean and neat. It was close by to convenient shopping and restaurants, and a movie theater. We would stay here again.

Bad smell, NO elevators, not very clean, itchy blankets, nothing to do close by, very few draws to get customers other than it was there when we got too tired to drive any farther. Breakfast was adequate and customer service was not too bad.

An average hotel room. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We were booked in a smoking room which we did not request.The room smelled awful. After returning from a afternoon outing we requested another room because the smoking room was unbearable. We left a few items behind in our zeal to get out of there.The front dest had no knowlege of any found articles and were uninterested in finding out what happened to them.The smoking rooms reek in this place our non smoking room was o.k.

we were looking for utilitarian lodging while we helped family members move in the area, and this hardly served that purpose -- it was hard to sleep in the stuffy room, and for some reason the cable was out... bummer.

Expensive for what we got.

I have been staying in hotels/motels all of my professional working life ... a period of over 30 years. This hotel was absolutely the worst I have ever encountered. Several reasons: (1) housekeeping staff just made bed, did not refill toilet paper, leave cleaning drinking cups, provide coffee cups, provide new shampoo bottles, or otherwise clean room, (2) on duty manager insisted on swiping my credit card again to ensure against "room damage." just like I was part of rock group, (3) free continental breakfast was almost always out of coffee. Result was a bad experience at premium rates. Whole building needed a coat of paint and was dirty. I will never stay at this place again. .

An easy place to stay. Very helpful staff, very clean rooms , well kept lobby and hallways. Some updating on equipment, sink drains , light bulbs etc. Generally I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Lodging in this area of Maine can be quite pricey, and when we saw this place on Hotels.com, we were interested in the affordable rate but wary that this hotel would be a nightmare. We were pleasantly surprised and would recommend this hotel to others. The location is right off of Route 1, making access to beaches, Bowdoin College and other Maine attractions easy. There is a Wal-Mart next door which may come in handy if you need to run out for necessities (and inexpensive souvenirs!). The decor of the hotel is worn and dated, but our room and the common areas of the hotel were very clean and nothing appeared to be broken. The hotel offers a spartan (but free) breakfast, but I would advise you to arrive early before the food disappears. The front desk staff were polite and helpful and answered all of our requests to our satisfaction. Even though our room was on the ground floor, we heard no noise from outside of other areas of the hotel.Our room and the hotel had free Wi-Fi and once you figured out how to connect, my speeds were a respectable 7.98 Mbps/down and 2.27 Mbps/up. If you're traveling in Maine on a budget, I recommend this Days Inn.

The title says it all.

I was not at all impressed. Stayed here four nights. Room had a bad odor, like a dirty sock. Front desk night shift was horribly unprofessional. Breakfast was very basic, and not fully stocked. Gym consisted of two treadmills and a recumbant bike and was usable. I visit Brunswick often and will not stay here again. Even the cheaper places on Pleasant Street are better.

Overall the hotel wasn't bad but I had requested a non-smoking room and the room was a smoking room, it smelled.

This hotel was mostly fine although we didn't think the bed was very comfortable and we had trouble sleeping during our stay. Location was terrific for the things we were planning and it was very convenient that there was a Wal-Mart next door. Breakfast was not terrific and not really worth waking up early for.

It is what I expected and the price was great.

the room was clean and the service was good but the breakfast was froson the eggs ans sausage was froson they ran out of frosty flake and never refilled it tbut overall it was a good stay

we had a wonderful couple of days. it's just what we needed and it was very quite.

Clean room & comfortable bed. The breakfast was better than expected - waffles, sausage & egg available.

We liked it a lot . Even though it was hard to find ,our fault not theirs .

Stayed here twice. It's typical Day's Inn; decent for the price but not great. WalMart next door is handy. Free continental breakfast and internet browsing in the breakfast area is nice. A little pricier than I expected (especially in September), but there isn' t much choice in Brunswick; high end inns or low end motels. Don't miss the Lion's Pride Restaurant; unbelievable beer selection on tap, and very nice food and people!

Front desk attendant was friendly and helpful. The room's bath had mold on the walls and the tub was dirty. The heater fan had a mold smell and maybe needed a filter cleaning. The room's walls and ceilings must be thin so we could hear toilets flushing and noise from the rooms above.

While nothing special about the Days Inn, there was also nothing bad or wrong about it. Room was not spectacular but it was clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was adequate and met what was described. Front desk and room cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful.

good, clean, basic motel. No junk, but everything you actually NEED. I'd stay there again (and at other Day's Inns - love the waffles!) if I need to.

My reservation was wrong, they charged me a higher rate for the last day of my stay than what I booked on hotels .com. Desk clerk was wearing a filthly , wrinkled polo shirt. Had people above walking back and forth all night. Could hear everything in the room , heater didn't work. Dirty towel was left in bathroom when we checked in. Tub didn't drain well. No TP replaced in room when empty, had to call for it. Will not return.

When I tried to check in there was no one at the desk and no one around in the lobby anywhere to ask. When I got to my room there were used soaps in both the bathroom and the sink area. The next morning when I went to iron my clothes the iron leaked water all over my blouse and then the power cord stopped working. Then I got in the shower and it didn't drain so I was left standing ankle deep in dirty water. I had reserved for 3 nights and would have left but due to an event in the area there was no place else to stay. So I left a note with the iron for housekeeping and asked them to replace it. When I came back that night the same iron was there. When I checked out I gave the desk clerk the maintenance form that was in the room,,,which asked if there were any issues with the room. The clerk did not even apologize... Just read the note and said "oh." I would not stay here again.

It's a Days Inn. No bells and whistles, but very adequate. It was clean, comfortable, safe and reasonable.

this is an older hotel. the lobby was small and meager. the room smelled awful. the tub was disgusting. the overall condition was poor. i do not think hotels.com should make referrals to this hotel.

We were on vacation to see the Maine coast and eat Lobster. Ended up in Brunswick for 2 nights, hotel is great and accomidating. Close to WalMart, really close, if you need supplies. Went to Lands End down the road, and to Booth harbour bay and is very scenic and had a great trip. We stayed in nicer and worse hotels during our trip, but had no issues with this hotel! Great area to tour around. Great cont breakfast!

We arrived late and there was someone at the desk to greet us. He was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was clean. Our rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. There was a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot in our rooms which was a plus. There were tables chairs, tv and pleanty of drawer space which was also a plus. One more extra special things was that in the morning we were able to make waffles and there were eggs and turkey sausage available for us along with other breakfast foods in abundance. We didn't stay as long as planned due to the threat of Hurricane Lorraine, but for the most part, we had a very good experience at this Day's Inn Motel. We plan to return when we come to Main again to visit our son at Bowdoin College. Thank you.

We stayed for a single night. Rooms were a bit small, but clean and simple. Location was very convenient and near Bowdoin College. A decent place to stay for a short period of time.

Hotel is tired looking. First room was very musty and bathroom was moldy. However, staff was very helpful when we reported condition and moved us to a much better room. This one was clean and free of mold. Breakfast had many options - more than just a continental.
