Super 8 Motel Allentown West Kutztown - אלנטאון

This was very disappointing. I stayed here before a ToughMudder event the next day. The room smelled like someone had smoked a carton of cigarettes. There was dust and dirt, hair in the sink, the mini fridge did not work. I could not wait to go run through 10 miles of mud and jump in the ice bath, and get out of that room.

Room really nice. Made Super 8 look like Four Seasons. Front desk man was disgusting. We arrived after midnight and he was hella-cranky. I believe night shift is not for him.

It's a nice place to stay for a night or two. I don't understand why one star but I was only there for a night. They had a nice tv and comfortable beds.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was located right off of I-78 making it convenient to get around. There was free continental breakfast and a coffee maker in the room. The staff was very couteous and friendly. All in all, a pleasant stay and I would stay there again.

Overall not bad. I wouldn't spend more than a night or two.

We stayed in this hotel due to its proximity to a church wedding and reception that we were attending. We were pleased with the comfort and appointments in the room and friendliness of the staff. My two young children and myself also liked the free breakfast foods that were provided. The room, itself, was small, but included a refrigerator and microwave, which we weren't even expecting. Overall, we were pleased with our stay - especially for the amount of money we paid.

The hotel staff were polite & helpful and the continental breakfast was adequate. The room had a strong cigarette smoke smell and there were burn marks in the 'blanket'. It appeared to be soiled and I took it off the bed & used my dressing gown instead.

TV had no signal - called desk to learn how to work it. Then it would freeze when changing channels. Had to get code to use internet. My room was at end of hall but doors at end of hotel were locked and alarmed so had to use main door in middle of hotel. Was on 2nd floor - no elevator - made 3 trips to unload car. I would stay here again though. Nice 1/2 way stop on my vacations.

We stay here two times a year and are pleased with this hotel and staff. It is a clean budget hotel with friendly personal.

Super 8 is not a chai9n I would expect to give a good review to but this one is very nice. The breakfast area is small but that doesn't really bother me-the room was nice and the TV was a big, flat screen.

I like this hotel. The rooms are nice and clean. The service is good. Our last stay we had an issue with loud neighbors which the management spoke to. Not much you can do about young kids that won't sleep though. Second night was much better. I'll go there again regardless.

The lobby was hot. The entire place including my non-smoking room reeked of smoke. Bed had sand in it. Would have gone some where else if I hadn't pre-paid and had the money to go else where.

I thought the place was dirty and the smell in our room stunk of cigarette smoke even though it was a nonsmoking room. The blankets had holes in them and the sheets were semi clean. We began to itch during our stay and still itched even though we took a shower. The breakfast was poor with bananas that looked like they were a week old. I wish I was told by your service that there was a Hampton Inn and a Holiday Express near by but your representative failed to mention it. No Super 8 hotels for me in the future.

The hotel was very nice. The room was pretty good sized and clean. My wife loved the bed and wanted to take the mattress home with her. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

We had a nice stay at the Super 8. We weren't there that much, mostly at night just before bed time. We stayed for two nights. The only real complaint we had was the housekeeping. Cob webs in the corner of the room, mirror was dirty and the such. We found the staff to be pretty affable and the desk staff were very good. Not much to say about the surrounding area but it was right off the highway and easily accessable. The hotel provided the basic breakfast options and there is a restaurant/bar across the street.

Great stay!!!

Good place to stay if you just need a place to crash at night. The hotel lobby stunk of smoke and was dated, but the rooms were clean and my NS room did not smell smoky. Bare bones breakfast. Can't beat the price, but would not have stayed if I spent any amount of time here otherwise.

The service was horrible. The entire hotel was smokey and spelled. The rooms ac leaked all over the floor ruining some clothes. The AC until would adjust it was either extremely hot or freezing. The water pressure was not even enough to rinse soap off. the carpet was nasty. The breakfast was pitiful generic frosted flakes OT bread. The side door didnt work which felt unsafe. Just an overall unconfortable stay. I usually don't have a lot to say bad about most places but this place shouldn't be recommended.

I did not like this hotel or the location of it. I would not have paid to stay here

Found it to be as reviewed, clean, inexpensive, perfect for a night on the road. I would definitely stay again.

This hotel was adequate but reeked of stale cigarette smoke in my "non-smoking" room and throughout the hotel.

I just needed a place to sleep near a meeting I was attending. I arrived at night and my GPS took me through some back roads, so I didn't see anything but homes around the area. The room was clean and stocked with the basics; towels, washcloths, soaps, hand towels, etc. The bathroom also was very clean. The next day I realized that we were close to another highway. I didn't have time to take advantage of the continental breakfast, but it looked okay. One thing that did bother me. I was asked for a copy of my driver's license. I'm still a bit perterbed by this and cannot recall being asked for this before. Should I be concerned?

Very nice hotel, great location off highway. Was pulling a trailer..has great parking-easy in & out. Clean room and very comfortable beds. Breakfast is very basic-I'm not a big breakfast eater so coffee and a bagel works for me.

I had a good experience here. It was only 9 miles from our destination and the rooms were very affordable. The staff was pleasant and kept making plenty of coffee for me! I will book here again next Thanksgiving also.

It's a Super 8 motel (budget class) so keep that in mind when setting your expectations. I've stayed here 4 times in the last two years and received what I paid for; a clean, comfortable room that was no-smoking (no smoke odor).

Hotel staff was great. The internet was down and the guy behind the counter went and fixed it for us and it worked the rest of the time. Not much of a breakfast but at least they served it. The room was clean and the bathroom was nice. Had tile floors and tile around the shower. Was there for opening night football and they had NFL network and all other channels. Will definitly stay here again!

I requested a ground floor room because I husband has trouble climbing stairs. The hotel had been booked for a ;month, but they did not have a ground floor room.
