Yes, you can hear the highway and I was farthest from it, but the beds were firm but not hard. Desk service was courteous. For the money, it was fine. If I returned to a show I did, I would use them again. I do believe they are in the process of updating the hotel.

THe bathroom had a low boy commmode. IF you have an artificial hip and are six foot tall this combination does not work. There are no grab bars. There should be more handicap rooms available. The receptionist Amy was fantastic.

Poorly maintained, wish I had known how run down this was before I booked it, I would have stayed somewhere else.

Only one ice machine found in a separate building. Did not have the feeling of safety.

I stayed at this hotel about 4 years ago. it was nothing special then but OK for the money. It has really gone down hill. The buildings, hallways and room was dirty and smelled rotten. Sink would not drain. Nothing in the neighborhood and, to be honest, not much in Jackson. What a dreary place. Food and service at the hotel bar was only slightly better than the hotel overall.

At first I was nervous because of how cheap the room was, but it turned out to be very nice! While the bathroom looked a little dated, it was perfect for what we needed and the rest of the room as while. The staff was very nice and it was very conveniently located close to shopping. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Other than somewhat thin walls, a clean and comfortable stay.

Very easy check-in, friendly and helpful front desk clerk, clean and very comfy room. Will most definately stay there again!!

The Wi-Fi never got higher than 1 bar, and I was right next to the lobby. The room was clean, but the bed is very firm. Also, the hotel is well over a mile from any gas station, store, or other resources.

I spent two nights; kinda dingy, rusty water, drafty room. I wouldn't recommend.

I was very satisfied with the room and the price.

Old poorly kept and cleaned, bar not open on Sunday's restaurant closed too.

For the money I've paid the service, generally, was over my expectations. In fact, beside the breakfast which doesn't fit my taste but was fair for the price, everything was very good/nice.I would definetly recommend this hotel for those who do not ask for a lot of comfort but to rest for a few nights.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast; i like the Belgian waffle maker!

The smell of cigarettes was slightly masked but really became strong when we turned on the heat. It is on a ventilation system that apparently connects to other rooms. We ended up using the fan on the window unit, and it improved the air quality. Bed was comfortable. Slight mold in the corners of bathroom.

The staff was friendly. As others have said, the breakfast was inadequate, but because of the reviews we brought our own, so it worked out. We were given a room with 2 double beds for 2 adults and 2 children which wasn't enough room and made for sleep uncomfortable and the beds weren't the most comfortable but they were okay. We were headed to Toledo early the next morning so it was a great location, right off the highway and overall, for the price we paid, it wasn't a bad stay.

Price is right, budget friendly, but there are some peculiar elements to it. "Guests" sitting in chairs outside their room smoking, drinking and watching the TV in their room. Firing up a grill where ever they like. Staff gathering to smoke outside the entrance. Having said that, staff was friendly, professional, and the few "campers" kind of added to the ambiance. In a surreal sort of way. Overall, a nice stay.

It was the best priced motel in the area (even if it meant I had to travel 50 miles one way to a series of events over two days.) The furniture, room, exterior etc was a bit worn but still decent. My room was cleaned nicely and had the convenience of a microwave and refrigerator. There was also a safe (without a key, which I forgot to mention to the office.) I was also able to pull the good sized table next to bed making it convenient for meals and for working on my laptop. The motel was easy on / easy off the expressway, but not close to any restaurants, gas stations, or convenience stores. The staff placed me in a room that accommodated my handicapped situation (very appreciative of that.)

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The building is older but seemed well kept. We stayed on the second floor and there was no elevator, but we didn't have a lot of baggage so it wasn't a big deal. The breakfast was pretty basic but they did have hot waffles in a waffle-maker, so that was nice. Overall it was a great deal for what we paid.

THE HOTEL ITSELF WAS PRESENTABLE, HOWEVER I ASKED FOR A NON SMOKING ROOM AND EVEN THO THE SIGN INDICATING NO SMOKING, THE ROOM HAD OBVIOUSLY BEEN A SMOKING ROOM AT SOME TIME AS THE SMELL WAS OVER WHELMING!!

Location was near where we were going. Hotel was great for the price. Big clean rooms, nice big pool and free breakfast was ok with waffles making it better. Had problem with AC but maintance quickly took care of it. I would recomend and stay again.

Just an Avg Safe Place to stay on your way to Detroit or Ann Arbor. Overall, great for the money.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable but nothing outstanding. This is an older hotel. If you are looking for reasonable accommodations this is it. The breakfast offered was unsatisfactory. Basically the only protein available was milk to put on the cold cereal. Waffles were the only other offering.

Very Good!

the room was perfect, very nicely kept. very good service. had a very small problem with the toilet not flushing, but maintenance was there in less than 5 minutes, and got it taken care of very professionally. would highly recommend this place. Very easy to find, and easy access to all the places we need to go to.Price was very good.

The Travelodge was very affordable and comfortable, clean and convenient. The mattresses could have been a little better quality, and a little more comfortable, but I had no trouble sleeping.

I stayed a month in many hotels in Jackson and this was by far the "Best Hotel" in the city, so don't be misled by the low rates. A great friendly staff and very clean rooms and water softner..Each room has a microwave and refrigerator that most dont have.

It is an older hotel, but the rooms were fine and many even had balconies. For what I paid, I got a little better than what I was expecting.

Some of the intertors are in need of repair.

Breakfast was a little small, no toast or bagels, just cereal and waffles, no sugar free syrup.

It was adequate for our needs for a one night stop-over kind of stay. The room was clean and actually bigger than I expected, but there was a cigarette burn on the bedspread. Nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room. The breakfast was only waffles, 2 cereal options, juice and coffee, so that left me wanting more. The night manager was very friendly when we checked in late.

I could not believe how dirty my hotel room was! Absolutely disgusting. There were someone's trimmed beard hairs all over the nob to the sink, dirt collected all along the perimeter of the room, what appeared to be blood stains ALL OVER both mattresses and on the walls, it stunk like cigarettes so bad, there were cigarette burns all over the carpet as well as bathroom sink and even in the comforter! However, there were 'No Smoking' signs here and there in the room. Our water just stopped working out of nowhere (the water had a putrid smell anyway). When we called to get it fixed, they seemed irritated and never followed up with us. Our room key stopped working completely after the first time entering the room and was never replaced. There were also curious white stains all over the carpet on one side of my bed. You could feel how dirty the floors were when you stepped on it with bare feet. To top it all off, there was a bar directly below our room. So every time someone played a song, we got to hear it. We also got to hear people yelling and laughing at all hours of the night which was really the icing on the cake. Never again, lesson learned.

Like some of the reviewers before me, room smelling like smoke when there's clearly no smoking in signs all over the place. Hey the price was 1/3 the price of the Holiday Inn down the interstate. Maybe not the greatest of place, but the personnel were nice and when you have the "do not disturb" sign on the door, the cleaning crew did not disturb me once....
