Casa Turquesa - קנקון

Overall, the Casa Turquesa is not at all bad if what you want is a big room, big bathroom, and a simple guest service experience. I would stay again provided they fix their horrible internet service. What is good? The room was very spacious: I had a jr. suite with balcony and jacuzzi--very pleasant. The bathroom was huge with separate bath and shower, and overall it has a feeling of 1970's luxury--though of course times change...The internet service is expensive and it doesn't work--it cuts out when it is there at all, is very slow, and in this day and age is unacceptable, as are the charges. The beds are hard (good) but cheap feeling, and the bedding is polyester low quality sheets and unappealing artificial feeling bedcovers. I can't comment on the food and dining as I chose not to eat, in part because the dining experience looks very uninviting, not nicely lit, and sort of creepy feeling. The staff were very nice in a genuine and normal way, not like the faux-obsequiousness you get at most Cancun hotels. The pina colada I had at poolside was commendable in that it was made from scratch instead of from a mix, and that makes all the difference. The pool area is small, but if you are like us, where the beach is what counts, the beach here is excellent--very deep, and ideal for swimming, sunning. The location is very good just behind Plaza Kukulcan and its restaurants and shops. I would stay here again if they fixed the internet and updated the bedding and beds.

I remember when this place opened and it was the most prestigious place in Camcun. Celebrities and the super rich stayed here and it was out of reach for the rest of us. Now it's not, and you see the furnishings and decor that made this hotel a draw. The size of the hotel is perfect. We parked a few feet from the front door, and the art is beautiful and interesting. We will be back.

Beautiful hotel. Great for couples, not for those looking to experience the night life in Cancun. Local dinning is moderate to expensive. The dinning in house is lovely but expensive. Gorgeous pool, enjoyed to spa tub outside. Would visit again.

What a great find. You can stay at the Westin or some other huge hotel but you will pay more for less. I'd recommend adding the breakfast to your room- it has fresh fruit plate (big one), juice, breads, and choice of eggs (even an omelete) and a small portion of hash browns. The rooms with ocean views were beautiful and very spacious. Staff was very friendly. We will go back for sure.

Loved this hotel. Only 2 things erked me while on my visit, the wifi was expensive ($20 American for 24hrs) and the bed was very hard. Besides that all was great and the staff were very pleasant.

BEAUTIFUL,PEACEFUL, AND CLASSY !! THE BEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD AND LOCATION WAS INCREDIBLE. THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT, BEACH AND POOL PERFECT, AND WE FELT SAFE AT ALL TIMES !! WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND NAUTILUS SCUBA DIVING. AGAIN THE BEST THAT WE HAVE EVER WORKED WITH ANYWHERE !

not really warm the responsible for the restaurant near the pool was arrogant and anti american he made you feel you didnt want to come back could of been much more hospitable other wise the hotel was beautiful but cancun would definetly not be a return trip besides shopping ect., its a tourist trap and besides the beautiful water it was a waste of money and the airport scene with all the hungry ladrons anyway good luck

We stayed one night in this hotel, it looks impressive from the outside and the pool is nice however our room was falling apart; Electrical sockets loose by the bed, water dripping through the ceiling, TV remote broken, no hairdryer, no coffee machine, weak shower, receptionist did not speak english, no business center to print boarding pass, all in all pretty poor.

This hotel is not much to look at as you enter, but once we got to the top of the driveway, that incredible view through the lobby put our minds at ease. I love the way the hotel is set up; they tood us it was full, but we barely heard anyone. The bathroom was gigantic and the view from the big balcony spectacular. I'd give the comfort and decor higher marks, but the bed was very hard, they were a little short on toiletries, and the decor of the rooms was a bit tacky.Not major issues, and the restaurant was very good (overpriced, though standard for the hotel zone). the only real problem was trying to get service at poolside (though the pool could use some cleaning and maintenance), but that did not cause much of a problem. It was incredibly quiet and oeaceful, and having the Kukulkan mall across the street made stocking up on cigars easier. We had a car, so the location was fine; without one you'd be kind of isolated, but if you like the hoteo zone experience, at least there are tons of buses and it's semi-walkable. Great for a base of operations during the sightseeing portion of the trip. Wonderful place to have a cigar and a drink while looking at the ocean.

I had a wonderful stay at Casa Turquesa. I wish I could have stayed longer. Beautiful views of the ocean. Nice and wonderful staff. Hotel maid needs some improvement. Over all I had a wonderful time.

This is a very nice small hotel - excellent actually. The beach view Jr Suite was great - actually much bigger than needed for a 2 day trip - but I decided to scout out this hotel for a potential visit at another time. The only thing I think needs to be done is to have a lighted sign on the hotel facing the main road in the hotel zone. It is up high and not lighted so very hard to see at night.

Fabulous boutique stay! The service was impeccable and friendly. The artwork was amazing - especially the sculptures. We happened to stay when some of the artists were actually staying in the hotel and we got tour of their work - including some work in progress. The staff even made a homemade birthday cake for one of our party who had a birthday over our stay. A great, quiet hotel for adults who want a haven away from the crowds.

The hotel is very beautiful. The view from the suits is just great. If you are looking for a very unique and romantic hotel, unlike the "all inclusive" ones, this is the place. The hotel has a lot of art all around the hotel so when you walk around you feel like in an art museum. Check your order there very carefully because when we came there the complementary breakfast was not written at the front desk and we had to show them our reservation paper from hotel.com to prove that we have breakfast include. Moreover we recommend to check with the staff the hours of activity of the facilities in the hotel.

We very much enjoyed out stay. Staff was very friendly and rooms very nice. The kitchen even cooked our fish that we caught deep sea fishing one evening for dinner! If you don't want a big resort and like a more intimate setting...highly recommended!!

My husband and I stayed 3 nights @ Casa Turquesa because we absolutely love small, cute, boutique hotels. Cancun has a ton of great 4 - 5 star resorts/hotels that boast numerous amenities, but the crowds due to the fact that they have hundreds of rooms always turn us off. Casa Turquesa was perfect in that regard--only about 20 - 30 rooms, never crowded, very attentive staff, quiet, relaxing and very enjoyable. The only negative we experienced during our stay was check in. Granted we did arrive at 2PM, but upon check in they offered us a room on the first floor basically right next to the pool, so I requested something higher up with a full ocean view. Well the young lady at the front desk insisted that the first floor room was all that was available. It wasn't until my husband's insistence did a oceanfront room magically become available for our full stay. She told us it had to be cleaned first but would be ready by 4PM (which was fine and worth the wait). 3.5 hours later (~5:30PM) we finally got our room. It was no doubt beautiful, but coming off a long flight and having to wait over 3 hours in the lobby in the heat was not a great way to start the vacation. All the servicemen, waiters, security guards, etc we ran into after check in were top-notch!! It was just that 1 lady at the front desk who spoiled our first day in Cancun. Fortunately, that didn't put a damper on the rest of our stay as we absolutely loved the room, the hotel, the restaurant, the drinks, and the overall experience and would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

Abbiamo soggiornato due volte nell'hotel e siamo rimasti, ambedue le volte , molto soddisfatti. E' l'unico hotel nella zona hotelera piccolo e con carattere, comprensivo inoltre di ogni comodità. Il personale, inoltre, è delizioso.

Wir waren in der Vorsaison (Ende Oktober/Anfang November) in Cancun und finden dieses Hotel außergewöhnlich: Das ganze Hotel und jedes Zimmer ist mit Kunstwerken und Wandgemälden übersät. Das Beste ist aber, dass die meisten Zimmer ein eigenes Jacuzzi auf dem Balkon haben! Es gibt einen schönen Pool und einen traumhaften Strand. Da die Zimmerzahl überschaubar ist gibt es kein Gedränge. Direkt nebendran ist ein riesiges Einkaufszentrum, ansonsten die üblichen Hotelkästen. Das Hotelpersonal (Rezeption, Restaurant) war ausgesprochen freundlich, aber nicht sehr kompetent. Da kann es schon mal passieren, dass bei einer Standard-Frühstückskombination (es gibt kein Buffet) erst das Obst vergessen wird und dann das falsche Ei kommt. Oder dass zwei Kellner den gleichen Tisch bedienen und der eine nicht weiß was der andere als Bestellung aufgenommen hat. Das wird aber durch die gute Laune der Kellner wieder aufgewogen. Das Abendrestaurent war zu unserer Zeit praktisch immer leer, aber es gibt genug Alternativen in der Umgebung. Tipp: Das Frühstücksbuffet im Ritz-Carlon (2 Hotels weiter) ist doppelt so teuer aber mindestens 3x so gut.

Das Hotel liegt direkt neben einem Luxus-Einkaufszentrum, in dem es auch einen kleinen Supermarkt gibt. Parken ist kostenlos auf dem Hotel-Gelände möglich. WiFI ist kostenlos und funktioniert auch am Pool problemlos. Die Geschwindigkeit könnte manchmal besser sein. Ich habe Foto-Uploads von ca. 300 MB immer nachts gemacht. Das Hotel-Restaurant ist für Frühstück und Mittags Snacks günstig. Abendessen habe ich nie genutzt. Am Strand bekommt man vom Hotel auch Liegen und Handtücher. Waveruner wurden wenige Meter neben dem Hotel vermietet. Ich hatte eine Suite mit Whirlpool auf der Terrasse - sehr nett!

Convenient location (there's a mall just beside), good service, friendly staff, great rooms, beautiful hotel. Complimentary breakfast is delicious, but could offer more options. Wifi internet is free, but signal could be better.

Et perfekt hotellopphold med store, flotte rom og personlig service. Det ble en fantastisk opplevelse fra innsjekk til avreise, mye takket være betjeningen på Casa Turquesa Hotel. Vi ble tatt i mot med frukt og drikke på rommet, god service hele veien. Havutsikt fra rommet, basseng, og egen, privat strand med egen badevakt fra morgen til kveld. Sikkert og trygt for barn og voksne. Sentral beliggenhet til sentrum og shoppingsenter; busser tilgjengelig hele tiden. Gir vår sterkeste anbefalinger til dette hotellet!
