Very friendly staff very clean the only suggestion I is to include breakfast or all inclusive package.

The Fajardo Inn was clean and spacious with lovely landscaping. Food at the grill was good, but the restaurant was a bit pricy. Activities at the hotel are nice, but they don't stay open late enough for grown-ups with a full day of sightseeing. Overall, a pleasant experience.

We only stayed one night but I was Totally impressed withe the TWO extremely NICE Pools... ( They accomodated young, old and everything in between!!!) The Gym, Spa, Gift Shop, Putt, putt course, tennis ,basketball courts and Bird cage area were all OVER THE TOP!! The resturants were AWSOME, friendly, Bilingual and everything you could ask for!! The Service was GREAT!!! Cleanliness was excellent!!! Amenities were outstanding!! Location was the only area that was less than ideal but we felt VERY secure and could see the security issue was definitely being adrdessed!!! We would definitely recommend it to others and the VALUE of this was More than Expected.

The Fajardo Inn was perfectly located for my exploration of the area that included a kayack visit to the incredible luminescent bay, Fajardo's Seven Seas Beach (don't miss the smaller hidden beaches on a path at the west of the beach), and hiking to top of El Yunque. Need a rental car.

Was good but need new beds.

My husband and I loved it!!!! WE did not expect the pool to be nice with a slide. We loved the talking parrots and just the over all ambience, the beds were also comfortable and worth the price.

the hotel is very nice the staff is very helpfull, the beds needs to be replace they are way to soft, and the tv was a joke. huge room huge enterteiment center and a 19 inch tv that i needed my glasses to be able to watch it.

My family & I stayed for 6 days. I highly recommend this hotel and the eastern excursions tour. I read the reviews before going and I followed one's advice and used a cooler for beverages. The room was cleaned everyday and we had plenty of towels and washclothes. My son was sick for 2 days so we stayed around the hotel and enjoyed the pool. It was gorgeous. My relatives live nearby so it was convenient to stay at the hotel. I would definitely recommend renting a car though.

Overall it is a good place. Hotel is clean, the restaurants are of high quality. Good location, easy access to the harbor. WiFi is available only in the lobby. The rooms and the pools are simple.

Fajardo Inn is a lovely lower priced resort style hotel in a great location to branch out around Fajardo. We were able to walk down the hill to the Ferry for Vieques and Culebra...(need a day for each island) and also on another day we drove to El Yunque Rainforest for a few hikes...GORGEOUS rainforest and many waterfalls! There was more to do in the Fajardo area but our time was short. We will visit again and stay at Fajardo Inn. We recommend this hotel, great location...gorgeous pool, mini golf course, landscaped grounds, iguanas roaming the grounds...BEAUTIFUL and QUIET!

Service was good!! Room was fantastic, the place was nice and cute. Food was great and the inside surroundings were beautiful , I didn't think it was going to be as great and wonderful as it is. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from it all. Thanking the employees whom were great.

There is a really bad odor in this hotel and in the rooms. We switched rooms because the smell was unbearable. Even with that we were close to forfeiting our money and finding another really expensive hotel for the time. The neighborhood is scary! We are from NY and had our share of scary hoods but fajardo looks like the bronx back in the 80's. I am not a picky traveler, but I will not be staying here again. The only plus is that it is close to the ferry terminal.

#1 Never stay in the outside rooms, you can hear everything from the next room. Showers, TV, Doors opening and closing. #2 The hotel is a bargain compared to the conquistador but its not free so customer service needs to be upheld. Only thing they say is Sorry. Im not telling you so you can feel sorry. Im telling you so something can be done. I stayed in one room one night that had an ironing board and no iron. Second room had iron and no board.

The staff were extremely helpful. It would have been nice to have internet access in our room. Never did find a beach nearby; a downside in an otherwise excellent facility. Great pool.

Rooms are big, near the ferry. After spending one day sunbathing at the Culebra or vieques island, the first thing u wanna do is to go back to your hotel and take a shower and have a rest. Fajardo inn is the right choice if u have the same feeling as me. Not so many restaurants within walking distance, so having a car is mandatory. It also has two swimming pools and tennis court, mini golf court. Great place for a quiet vocation.

Hotel was very good. Very close to carabeli rain forest, el yunque, bioluminicense bay, beaches. Room was clean every day and well serviced. Only complaint I had was there was no internet. Even the wi-fi in the lobby wasnt working.

I can not say enough about the great staff at this hotel everyone was more then helpful. there are a few maintenance items that would be nice like a hook in the bathroom and more wash cloths but every every happy with my stay

Location is close to ferry terminal.rooms are big.pool is nice.no beach .

our room was musty (Room 120). We had to ask for wash clothes every day. They never gave us enough towels. The bed sheets are not fitted - just a top sheet folded around the bed and another top sheet. The bed was not comfortable and squeaked really bad. The lighting in the room was really bad too. Only 1 light in the bathroom - no sink light - couldn't see to put my makeup on. We had family staying in Room 130 - which was a much nicer room for the same price (window in the bathroom unlike ours). They didn't have hot water the 1st day and also never had enough towels or any washcloths. We wouldn't recommend staying here. If you need a place to stay to be close to El Yunque - find another town. Fajardo is a poor area and there aren't any restaurants other than "the kiosks" which don't look like anything you want to take your family to - run down restaurants and lots of partying.

If you don't mind staying about an hour from San Juan and a long drive from the west side of the island, this is a great deal. Nice pools, mini golf course, tennis court, etc. Clean, comfortable room.

The facility was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, but the pillows were like pancakes; we had to ask twice for towels; coffee maker in the room, but had to purchase your own coffee from the vending machine; no clock in room.

A very nice place to stay in Fajardo. Lots of things to do at the Hotel itself, including 2 swimming pools, minature golf, two restaurants. If I am in Fajardo again, I will stay at this hotel.

excellent views. We were able to see the rainforest and the ocean from our hotel balcony.

This was our third stay at this hotel. There seems to have been recent improvements at the hotel as the furniture looked new and the overall condition of the rooms were improved. There are two restaurants at the hotel but we did not eat at any of them. The pools are great. The staff is friendly. Our a/c did stop working twice in the middle of the night but was quickly fixed the next mornings when we informed them. This is not a nice area necessarily to visit as Fajardo doesn't have a ton to offer. But, it is an affordable hotel that is close to other local attractions such as Luquillo Beach, it's kiosks and the rain forest. We will definitely stay again next year.

Nice place to stay. Reasonable rates, and conveniently located near the ferry to Culebra. Lovely views from terraces. Good Mexican restaurant located on-site.

The property is well maintained and in a beautiful garden. The room was large and clean, but without a fridge and a safe broken.About one km from the port to catch the boat that leads to Culebra is to see, beautiful Playa Flamenco.Around there is nothing, there is no public transport, taxi only. The friendly and helpful staff

Everything was so nice my family will go back. We enjoyed everything in the short time we had their! Everyone were so nice to us with three babies running around in the room. The quality of the room and the service was just so good that we will go back. I can say that this was the most unforgettable and happy place to be in PR for a hotel .

An excellent stay. Staff was very helpful when we had questions. The Star Fish Restaurant had a very nice breakfast for a reasonable rate. The grounds are very nice with excellent swimming pools. The Blue Iguana Mexican Grill & Bar was excellent and made a wonderful vegetarian meal on request. I have tasted many different types and flavors of salsa but the Blue Iguana Mexican Grill & Bar was one of the absolute best tasting ones in the world. Note: I am the kind of guy that puts salsa on waffles instead of syrup!

The worst hotel experience Ive ever had. The check in forms include one full page that releases the Fajardo Inn of liability for any injury that the customer might incur. The clerk told me I could not use the pool if I did not sign it. I asked to speak to a manager several times. Each timeI was told the manager refused to speak with me and this was their policy. After 20 long minutes another desk clerk came out and finally gave an explanation that there is no lifeguard in the pool therefor this legal disclaimer is needed. Overall the cleanliness amenities and location were very nice. Unfortunately the staff from the GM on down does not realize that the main thing they are selling is customer service. Regardless of how nice the hotel is people will not return if they are treated negatively and without respect. Customers visit the Inn for a positive relaxing experience not to be harrassed with legal disclaimers as soon as they walk throught the door. Very unfortunate for the owner I would say.

The hotel was perfect but when we were there nothing was open. No bars or jacuzzi and they renovated the poolarea.

We were at this hotel for a wedding and we thought it would be convenient to stay at the hotel where the wedding was taking place. Not so. The restaurant was painfully slow and there were no restaurants close by (without driving). You couldn't even just get a cup of coffee. The lighting in the room was extremely dim. I have seen fluorescent lighting work if you use the right bulbs and you use a lot of them, but this was bad. The outlet in the bathroom didn’t work so I had to dry and do my hair out in the bedroom near the bed. That worked a little better, because then I could open up the window and be able to use the light to see my face. The hotel was way understaffed, especially knowing that a big group was coming in for a wedding. We all tried to eat breakfast together and it took hours!! They weren’t very good at taking orders either, and there were vegetarians in our group who were served bacon. In our room, our smoke detector was missing and the safe would work intermittently. Also, if you want to go tour the bioluminescent bay (which I highly recommend) save yourself a few dollars and go down to the bay and book it in person with the company the night before you go. The hotel charged us $10 per person extra, just to make the reservation and we were confused and thought we had already paid for the whole trip. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again, it was not worth the money.

The big pool was closed due to maintenance, but they seem to keep it closed during low season. You need a car to come and go, and the tvs at the rooms need to be updated.

This is a resort and overall nice if that is what you are looking for. Do NOT take a room anywhere close to reception as they have a parrot that whistles like crazy and keeps you from sleeping / they take it out at 7AM and put it away at 10PM. The neighborhood this facility is at I would not walk around at night it appears a poverty stricken area and I would be concerned for my safety. If you want to stay on hotel grounds this is a nice place. I still have not figured out why I had a coffee maker in my room but could not get coffee unless I paid $1 at a machine by reception - kind of dumb is you ask me.
