Not bad for price but there are better values. Elevator is scary.

Good, the renovation will be an improvement but the bed was HARD. service great and we were upgraded and remembered by the front desk staff. Nice touch.

This place was not as nice as the pictures make it loom but it was pretty good. I would only say that the only thing I didn't like was that the bedding was pretty lame.

For $90.00 dollar a night in USD was ok. If you have a car, the Valet is $27.00 USD dollars for a 24 hour period. If you rather stay at a better hotel and pay the equivalent is better. This hotel exceeded my expectations. Close to everything in South Beach. If you walk everywhere is excellent! If you have a car you have to deal with the parking. I highly recommend this place! The staff was absolutely wonderful!!!

Great service and lots to do

We had a great time. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Our room was clean, the staff was friendly, and only a block from the beach. Everything else is in walking distance. We're planning to stay there again.

I wasn't expecting much, but they need more comfortable beds. could be better, but over all a good hotel. Would return if the price is reasonable.

The location of the Hotel could not have been any better! But for the space inside for a room of 5, next time if I want to splurge over $$$ a night I will stay in a bigger room/hotel like the Metropole!

The hotel was OK, location excellent, staff friendly and polite. hotel is clean, internet connection fast 24 hours a day.

All round great hotel. Perfect for young couples/ friends looking to stay in the heart of South Beach. Staff are very helpful.

Cramped room and shower, but clean and fantastic location close to the beach! Also close to the nightlife, but not too loud to sleep at night. Friendly staff.

I have to say that we picked this place because of location. It is an older hotel, but nicely maintained. Rooms were clean, stuff - friendly. I think it is ok for the price paid. Room size is ok, beds were quite comfortable. The only complaint is that the walls are thin, you can hear people from next room and noise from the street. We had free breakfast which was quite nice, although don't expect much - it is very basic: muffin, bagel, yogurt, banana and tea/ coffee. The bar serves drinks in the evening, there is a nice little backyard were you can seat and enjoy your drink. I wish they also had a restaurant on premises. Overall, the hotel is good for the price they charge.

The hotel is cute, the valet parking affordable, and the location excellent. However, the night club next door is incredibly loud until about 1am. Not a problem if you're on vacation, a bit of an issue if you have to go to bed or get up early for work. Not a problem if you're a heavy sleeper or listen to music, big problem if you're a light sleeper or need silence.

Hotel was CLEAN and smelled clean. Centrally located to everything I needed in South Beach. Left the car in valet and was able to walk to everything.

The staff were very professional and made up for any downfall of the hotel. The room was very clean and proper. The common areas need so attention however.

The hotel should be rated 1.5 and 2 star maximum. The laminated flooring was scratched and discoloured in several area and evidence of lifting in some area. I took photographs to avoid being blamed for the damage. The bedding and curtains are cheap looking, the flannel comforter was torn, aged and was suitable for a pet. The bathroom had evidence of corrosion on door hinges and also red stains is noted in the corner on the floor in the bathroom. The bathroom sink is small and situated too low, you had to be careful not to bang your head on the vanity cabinet when brushing your teeth or washing your face. The TV is 15-20 yrs old. The best part of the hotel was the lobby, front and back patios. I would not recommended this hotel to my friends or stay there again. If I was staying in a 1 to 2 star hotel I could understand the condition but not a hotel that is rated 3 star. I am pretty sure I can get similar if not better accomodation at the local hostel.

For the price we paid for a night the hotel was good. We only slept in the hotel at night and during the day we were out exploring. Loved the location Right on Ocean Ave. around all the shops and beach. Overall if you looking for a hotel for a night or two this hotel for the price is worth it.

Beach plaza. Took my 60plus parents as a family vacation to south beach. Their room 302 was right on the corner facing Collins--too noisy all night long. My room was in the middle back 307 much better. Bed was great, small boutique bathroom but well stocked. Small flat screen and ample AC unit. Bar in hotel was small but great and quiet, patio had lots if places to sit and relax. Beach was easy to find and they rent chairs and umbrellas. This hotel is walking distance to everything. It's excellent for that and I had no problem with the staff. Kevon the door man was always cheery and made leaving and coming back a real pleasure...small things but really nice things.

Upon arriving the service was fast and friendly. The room is clean. However, if you're looking for something romantic this is not the best hotel for that. Great for a short 1 night stay. Close to everything including Ocean Drive. My biggest CON is that another guest entered our room while sleeping. Not sure why their key could access our room. Okay overall, would not stay again however.

The location of this hotel is great. You're walking distance from everything worth seeing in South Beach. As far as the hotel itself, the room is very small and utilitarian. It was very clean though. It was a nice place to stay for three nights. I wouldn't stay here on a family vacation, but I highly recommend it to anyone going to South Beach for a few days. I enjoyed my stay and will consider it again the next time I visit. It's a no frills place, that's affordable and clean.

They lost one of my bags and try to said that I didn't have it when we arrived to the hotel. After two hours arguing with the front desk and the porter, another gues came to the front desk with the suitcase and claiming that was not hers and was missing one. The hotel personel camaraderie was terrible and the even worse, in addition they treated us as if we were liars. when we ask for review the security cameras it was ​almost impossible to describe the situation and took over an hour to answer us. Thanks it was just one night and we left early to our destination. The only good thing is the location of the hotel if you want to be in the party zone in south beach.

I loved my 2 night stay here I just drove down that night and found this hotel. They were so nice to us they let us see the room bebore I booked online they gave free breakfast in the mornings and a glass of wine in the evenings its a block up to the beach and they have everything you need there was no extra fees for my fax that came through or my overnight mail they open doors for you and always smiling I would stay again I. Was in room 220

The hotel was fine for a one-night stay where I didn't plan to spend much time in the room. The location in South Beach is very convenient and I got a low price. The room was small and furnishings dated, so it wouldn't be an ideal place if I planned to relax in the room.

Great location with the beach one block away, courteous and friendly staff, and a great room-rate deal off of the Internet made this hotel stay low stress. The pillows were a bit hard on the head for eight hours, but next time I'm in South Beach I'll bring my own and stay again.

This is a ONE STAR Hotel - Not a 3 Star. Only good thing about this hotel was its location. Very close to the beach, bars and other downtown shops. But that's about it. Hotel is very old. Lift has a note on it that it can accommodate only 3 persons at a time otherwise it will stop between floors! Very scary. Front desk manager (Sebastian) did not give me internet login and password and did not tell me about the complimentary breakfast. Instead he charged me 11 bucks as Resort fee. Unbelievable! Only when I asked him later that night, he gave me internet login and informed me about the complimentary breakfast. Breakfast woman asked my room# before I could get basic breakfast things, bagel, coffee, juice. And only one piece of bagel, apple, coffee was allowed per person. I had to pay $30 to park my car in the nearby parking lot. Basically a worst hotel to stay.

This hotel charges a "resort fee" even though it is a far cry from being a resort. It's just another gimmick to conceal the true room rate. Otherwise it's a decent, clean place near good restaurants, tacky clubs and tatoo parlors, and the beach.
