Beachcomber Hotel South Beach - מיאמי ביץ'

Room was in horrible condition seriously need to be remodeled I expected at least better than a Red Roof INN for the price! The pictures are nothing like what you actually get! The rooms have THIN walls you hear everything going on outside your room and every time someone walks on the floor above you! The mini bar was missing several items so I went to the front desk to make them aware so I didn't get charged $4 for each item. Didn't like how Condoms are on the dresser either for use made the room look really CLASSY!

Well, from the moment I walked to the front desk I thought it was going to be awful. I usually expect a smiling person on the other side of the desk making eyes contact but it wasn't the case. Overall the hotel stuff wasn't that friendly and the room was absolutely rubbish.. dusty, dirty and smelly! Never again, rather spend more next time.

I just needed a clean comfortable room for 2 days down in South Beach and that's what I got. The TV reception was could've been better, but who's in South Beach to watch TV in their hotel room? The staff was polite and didn't bug me to check out right at 11am. I was left alone and walked out about 30 hr after check out without a peep. Rate was good for the weekend and the bed was comfortable. I'd go back if it came down to it.

The hotel has poor clean service, the bathroom tub with a moled and very dirty had to call for cleaning supplies, door in room had a pad lock with tape around the door, the room also had power cords going in and outside the room... that worse Hotel in history... don't book or stay here sleep on beach 1st

Quaint, walking distance to South Beach, lots of shops and restaurants. Relatively inexpensive.

Our stay was not a very good experience. After 5 days, we had to ask to have our linens change. We also had to request wash cloths, hand towels, and plastic cups. We will never stay there again, or will we refer our friends to this sorry place.

Enjoyed my stay at the Beachcomber. Convenient to the beach, shops, restaurants, parking garage right across the street. Cute little boutique hotel. Perfect for what we needed. Clean rooms, nice fluffy white towels, not overly large, but it suited our needs.Would stay there again.

is close to the beach ..! The only good think about this hote.....l, service horrible , we arrive there on sat and the didnt know we were arriving .!! The rooms were not ready.... for the price u pay .!! Is close to the beach !! but the zone DONT GO THERE IF U TAKE KIDS WITH U .!! homeless people around the area, drunk people area , not parking at the hotel , nothing better than a cheap hotel .!

The bathroom door locked you in and the phone didn't work. There is no elevator to help you get upstairs with your luggage.

smelled like mildew, there was no pool. No elevators or anyone to help bring our bags to our room. I would never stay here again I have stay at better hotels for alot less nor did they care how many people stayed in one room.

My family was not impressed at all. Main Lobby stunk with a mildew smell. Building is Old ,which is okay, but rooms and quality needs a Facelift.

The hotel was good for the price that I paid. I've been to southbeach many times and this was a good location and good amenities. I liked that there were free towels and beach chairs available and that parking was available at a nearby lot. The staff was friendly. The room needed some updating, paint, carpet, beds, and furniture. Overall a good place for the price.

The hotel was in a good location to all the events. The room was ok, nothing to write home about but it was ok. The bathroom was nasty. I had to buy my own coment to clean the bathroom before I used it. Next time I will upgrade my hotel. My trip was 4/26-4/29/2012

The hotel is in a great location and the room was small. My only problem was the mattresses, we could feel every spring in them. The mattresses are very old and very uncomfortable and should be replaced. Other than that I had a wonderful time in South Beach.

The rooms are not even close to the pictures! When you enter the lobby is very cute, but the rooms are not. FIrst night there,me and my boyfriend realized the bathroom was dirty ( the tub when the water would be turned on was all black) imagine how long they had not cleaned it. I just went to party for my birthday so i did not let that get to me but i would not stay again . I feel sorry because the STAFF WAS AMAZING

the pictures used on the site looked NOTHING like the room we stayed in. the hotel is disgusting. our sheets looked like they havent been washed in months.. had stains and everything. the shower water kept changing from hot to cold and the wooden floors in the room were nasty. i didnt use the sheets and slept with a shirt over my pillow so my face wouldnt touch the pillow.. thats how disgusted i was. i do NOT recommend this to anyone! the only reason why i stayed here was because it was cheap and the pictures looked nice but don't be fooled like me. stayed here with my girls and we all were uncomfortable! the room smelled a bit and it was humid in the room.. i felt nasty just being in there.

We booked the hotel after seeing pictures on their website and reading some of the good reviews. However, we were disappointed when we got here. The hotel desperately needed renovation. The carpets looked old and dirty. The room was very old and dull. The bathrooms were tiny and not the cleanest. Breakfast was included in the rate, but it was disappointing....it was only toast and bagel! However, the location of the hotel is awesome, so if you plan on spending very little time in your room, then this could be a good cheap bet.

Convenient to 150 bus stops. Walking distance to great restaurants and clubs. Mattress was so uncomfortable, springs poked and I had the worst nights sleep of my life. Bathroom is tiny and dingy. I actually wore flip flops in the shower because it looked so gross. Liked the hard wood floors in the decent sized room. No offer to help with luggage... Stairs only, no elevator. Don't stay here unless you're desperate / its a last minute situation (my case)

This hotel is in a great location for all that you want to do BUT it is not the best, the carpet was nasty and stain, is had an old smell to it, you had to carry you luggage up the stairs,the room were so small for 2 people, and there was a lareg wad of hair in the toliet. If you are looking to only say a night and you can over look all of this ,and you want to be near the beach this is the spot. I would NEVER stay here again.

I like the fact that someone at concierge desk asked us to come back and book Beachcomber for our next visit to South Beach.

The site is well located. In just minutes you can walk to Ocean Drive, washington st and lincoln rd. The front desk staff was varied. Some nicer than others. But always answered our questions. The hotel has a little restaurant for dinner rather to give you good prices and discount for guests. They provide towels and beach chairs, so we like. Nostro had requested a room with a king, but we got one of two full beds. The room is simple and has a small bathroom. If the intention is to enjoy the surrounding ocean drive and not expect many luxuries, this is pefect Ugar. Good prices and good location.

Reasonably priced, clean comfortable room. Great staff. Great location. Would stay again, and recommend to others.

excellent location, cleaning crew always on point, free chairs and towels for the beach, comfy room, wifi only in lobby is the only negative. I would stay here again, no problem

Stayed the the beachcomber for a girls weekend trip, location of the hotel is great!, hotel staff not friendly at all, no room service for the whole weekend had to ask for clean towels otherwise we wouldn't of gotten any. Again location is great, hotel sucked!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Beach Comber. The staff was really nice and informative about some of the attractions around the beach area (e.g. restaurants, shopping). The only concerned I had was not being able to have access to ice when needed. I had to take a cup to the bar downstairs to get ice (YIKES). The room had all of the necessary items to stay comfortably. I was impressed with the flat screen TV in the room. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again here again on my next visit to South Beach, FL!!!

It was the worst experience I have ever encountered in traveling. The bathrooms were disgusting. The bath tubs did not look clean and my family did not want to use them. The manager was not accommodating with the complaints. His attitude was very nasty. Although there were rooms available, we were not allowed to check in until 3 pm (after arriving from an early flight 1:30) The comforters on the beds looked as though they had not been washed in months. I really wanted my money back to check in at any other hotel available. This was an over night stat that was being followed by a cruise the next day. If traveling as a family do not consider, it will totally ruin the mood of the start of a vacation. We have never stayed in accommodations of this sort before; I was really embarrassed and could not stop apologizing to my family. Use any hotel but this one or you will be sorry. I was.

The hotel is PERFECTLY located! Right on Collins between 9th & 10th St. and literally down the street from the beach, restaurants, and of course Wet Willies. One bad thing, I killed two ticks that I happened to find in the bed. Lucky for me and my husband we were not bit (that I know of). According to the front desk, "that's odd because the mattress is new". I'm not convinced and expected a bit more or of a concerned reaction and perhaps at least some sort of credit for our stay. The room, however, had the comforts of an aparmtent- full kitchen, etc.

Hotel was a lot nicer than I expected. It was a fair price and very nice room. My only complaint would be the towels were a little dirty, but otherwise everything was clean. If you're in South Beach you should be on the beach and not in your room anyway!

Ridiculous. The hotel was had an unpleasant stench and had a far less than decent appearance. The bathroom was in such filth, we had to go to a local store and by clorox bleach to clean the bathroom to our liking (and liking is an overstatment). Entirely dissatisfied and appalled with the entire stay. STAY AWAY.

If your looking to going to the beach, a cruise or the night life this would be a great place to stay but for 1 or 2 nights tops..

El cuarto un poco antiguo más que nada el baño muy viejo,no tiene elevador,algo que ya sabíamos pero si son bastantes escalones,muy amables las tres personas que nos toco en recepción, en especial una dama rubia que estaba después de las 3pm.
