The hotel staff were very friendly & welcoming. I was only there for one night on a short business trip & got in late. The only improvement I would have made was to have firmer pillows on the bed! (Please note that I did nto ring the desk to ask for this--they may have been able to accommodate).

We stayed at the hotel for one night for a cheer competition in a nearby town. The front desk attendant was put out because I asked her if this was a safe neighborhood and the hotel is right next to a very sketchy motel. I was traveling with two girls and knew that we would be coming back to the hotel late at night - I thought it was a very valid question. She did not. The beds had make-up residue from a previous tenant, but the rest seemed fairly clean. The room served it's purpose. Probably wouldn't stay there again.

The staff did everything to make this a comfortable stay. The pool was wonderfully warm and the hot tub was hot. The blow dryer was broken and when I called the office, they immediately sent up and had a new one installed.

The hotel was wonderful. the breakfast was excellent. location terriffic. Maintenance was exceptional - we mentioned a loose lamp to a maintenance man in the elevator and when we got back that evening the lamp was fixed! the only thing I have a problem with is the lighting in the bathroom. If you don't bring your own lighted mirror it is difficult to put your make up on because of one light and a dull one at that. But most hotels do have this problem - maybe people are nt looking as good as they sould when they travel?

We had a wonderful time. We were there for a family special occasion and with all of us staying at the same hotel, we had a great breakfast together. All around great family time. Also fun in the pool with grandchildren.

Staff was very helpful. Despite a ski trip of middle schoolers, we were given a room far enough away from kids' rooms that we had a quiet, restful stay. Good job!

Room was clean and comfortable. Employees were friendly and helpful. Breakfast bar was small but had everything we needed and more. I would recommend this hotel.

Easy access to major roadways if you are travelling to Gettysburg, Harrisburg and/or Hershey. We were visiting family in nearby Shiremanstown and found location convenient. Nearby is shopping, grocery store, restaurants and fast food. The hotel breakfast was more than adequate with eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.

This was my first stay at a Wingate, and I would definitely stay at the Wingate again, and pefer it over Fairfield Inns and Hampton Inns. It was a little tricky to find but is only minutes off the PA Tpk. I would have rated the cleanliness of the room a 5 except that there was an empty water bottle in the trash.

With the weather getting cold, the indoor pool was a nice way to let my 2 yr old run off some energy, instead of having to be cooped up inside.

We have stayed at this hotel twice now and like it very much. It's one of the cleanest we've stayed in - not the best, but pretty close. The pool/spa area is well kept and we all enjoyed it. The breakfast area is spacious and a good variety of food is offered. Good hotel for adults and kids.

The roads into the hotel could be marked a little better. Other than that our stay was enjoyable. Breakfast selection could include eggs with the sausage for more protein instead of so many carbs.

We visit every year and we are very happy with the service as always. The smell of Clorox at the pool can be unbearable for an asthmatic like me. Seems they don't air out the chemicals after cleaning the pool. Other than that, excellent service.

Hotel staff was very accommodating. The hotel was hard to find at first, as most GPS systems cannot find it. You need to turn right at the Rite Aid Pharmacy and then a quick right again as if you are heading to the Best Western or the Cracker Barrel Restaurant. Hotel itself was nice. Rugs and furniture could use updating and the bathroom was small. Complementary breakfast was good. Hotel was only about a 20-25 minute ride to Hershey Park.

Room was clean, toilet had some hairs in it!! There was no way to close curtains on window, so exterior light shone in thru night. There were MANY children staying here but the Noise quieted down as evening progressed so quality sleep was had. Breakfast was varied and plentiful with eggs,fruit, toast, waffles coffee etc.available. I stayed one weekend night and will probably choose to stay here again as I'm in the area about 10 times per year

After a circuitous journey south on route 15-which we were told the hotel was directly alongside then north and back again we found it perched not on 15 as we were told but off New Cumberland Rd. The chap giving directions misled us by saying that New Cumberland Rd. Was in fact Rte. 15,when it was not! Other than that our stay was delightful once we found it.

The hotel was very nicely maintained & the room was spacious. The breakfast had a good selection of both hot and cold items. We stayed two consecutive nights and there were different choices both mornings. However, the breakfast doesn't start until 7am. We were staying because of a sports tournament and if we'd had an 8am game time, we wouldn't have been able to eat there as we'd have needed to leave earlier than 7am. Most other places we stay breakfast starts at 6 or 6:30am!

When we first began staying here regularly seven years ago for the nearby races, the manager started to recognize us and we felt more like we were visiting friends than guests at a hotel. About two years ago that changed and we've not seen the same manager twice. While the hotel is still close to the race track and convenient to other facilities, we no longer have the same welcome feel because no one knows us by name as our old friend Mac did.

This hotel is very quiet (especially considering its closeness to major highways), immaculately clean and beautifully decorated.

I found the property and rooms to be very clean and comfortable. The staff was top notch and helpful at every turn. The complimentary breakfast was fine and the staff worked hard to keep that area spotless. However, one must be prepared to listen to their neighbors conversations and tv as the walls seem a little thin. Also, one side of the hotel is next to the Interstate, so be prepared for road noise all night long.

excellent value, very convenient for west of Harrisburg destinations. Airport 15 minutes away. Great breakfast and pool, gym for guests

We were very pleased with the hotel and staff. It was a tremendous value and we will definitely stay there again during our next visit to the Harrisburg area.

Nice hotel for the price. Rooms were spacious, mattresses and pillows comfortable. Nice selection of channels, free Wifi and fridge/microwave in the room were all nice. Free breakfast was so-so, the hotel is wrapped by a major freeway, so traffic noise is a constant, though wasn't an issue for me. Rooms were a bit moldy, which affected my allergies. Housekeeping didn't really clean, as my bathroom had stains on the counter, that didn't disappear until I cleaned then. Friendly staff. Overall, good stay for the price, would. def. go back if in the area again.

We've stayed here several times each year since 2006 because it's very convenient to Williams Grove Speedway, and is an easy drive to Hershey, Gettysburg, and Harrisburg. We've never been disappointed, and have recommended this hotel to friends who also stay in the area.

We stayed there for a night during labor day weekend. We were satisfied with the hotel room, it was clean and nice. Breakfast was nice. Hotel was convenient to access, clean had a gym room though we did not use it. Recommend it.

We stayed here for a night on our trip to Hershey and it was a very nice place to stay. We had gone to Hershey that night and we did not get back to the hotel until 10:45pm. The indoor pool closed at 11:00pm and the very kind gentleman at the front desk let us swim until midnight which was a perfect end to our short vacation. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was much beter than I expected.

It was hard to find this hotel, especially at night, but once inside - everything was just perfect: clean, quiet, friendly staff; food, pool - as described on their site. Five stars! Definitely would stay there again!

Room was ready when we arrived, room was very comfortable, breakfast was as advertised. Problem: Asked for a 5:30am wake up call on the check out day, which was accepted, but did not come. Hotel staff explained that since we paid with a credit card our account was considered complete therefore since our account was complete there was no way to setup a wake up call for an account that was complete, but which was accepted by the desk clerk. Hmmmmmmmmm. Remember Catch 22?

Hotel is nice enough but after a long drive we wanted to relax with a glass of wine. You cannot buy wine in this town....just wish I knew before hand
