Goodearth Hotel - פרת'

Had booked with 2 beds, but when we arrived in the room, there was only one queen size bed. They put us in another room, without any hassle. Good view of the Swan River. Room a bit small but comfortable. Close to city.

Basic but comfortable and clean. Great value restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Very helpful staff. About 1/2 hr walk to Convention Centre. Only one lift working so it took a minute or two at busy times. Overall good value for money.

Very nice room and bed comfy! Resturant had very nice food!! Be good if prices were low all the time as I would use it more often as a fly in fly out worker!!

Loved how close it was to what we wanted to do, and it's right by the car rental place as well, so that was great. Hotel was clean and had a kitchenette. Would stay here again

Excellent Location & Friendly Staff at a Good Hotel,

1st night - great, we got a studio room with couch and table/chair. Clean, big, with a small but appreciated balcony. I checked out and came back another night in a few days. 2nd night stay - not so great, we got a really tiny room for the same price. No couch/table with 1 odd chair. The AC was not cold and it is so historic that I couldn't find the AC control (hidden under a panel you'd have to press). Called the manager n ask to change to a bigger room but manager came over and thought me how to switch the AC on. Was not offered to change room and was expected to deal with it but i only had a few hours stay that night so i didn't bother arguing. Bed linen this night feels dusty and scudded that i hate touching. This room is so small you can't even fit a another single bed in there, just so you can imagine how small it is, not that i need another bed.

Good Hotel, just a little tired and dated.

Our friends booked at the same time as us but we paid extra for a double bed and they went for the cheaper rate which was single beds. They then asked for a double ar rhat rate and got it at the cheaper rate. It was a much nicer room too so rhis was a bit disappointing.

It one of those hotels, which you can keep in mind if you don't have an alternative. It will never be my first choice to book at.

The standard room we booked was very small, the "queen size" bed was more of a double bed. The bed's length was short so could be a problem for tall people. We ended up paying extra to be moved to a studio room with a kitchenette, sofa, & table, more room to move around.

The staff were exceptionally helpful when we could not get accommodation for future nights, They went out of their way to help, doing searches on their computer for us and offering advice.

Our stay was fine. This hotel needs refurbishing. Although clean, rooms are bare and antiquated, with no charm. Free parking is LIMITED. We arrived in the evening and all the spots were filled so were directed to a lot across the street and asked to pay. What is great about this hotel is breakfast. One of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had! The location and staff are good. A bus stop is situated 1 minute away with buses running to almost anywhere around the city. Most of the staff were helpful although from time to time we ran across one that was not entirely fluent in English which made conversation a bit challenging. I likely would look for another hotel on my next visit to Perth.

Good value, old but clean. Food was reasonable, restaurant service was really good. Lack of car bays is an issue.

Hotel is very clean and neat. Only had a problem with the parking. If hotel had more parking I would Highly recommend. Staff where very friendly and help full.

I have stayed here many times: not all the rooms are of the same standard, however the hotel is comfortable and clean. No food or drinks after 11pm which can be problematic for people arriving on late flights.Some rooms are very good, others just average.

This hotel was perfect for our short stay. The cleanliness especially in the bathroom was A+. Only complaint was there is parking available but 2x we had to park in the street but as it was a weekend that was no problem.

Good quality, clean, close to CBD, great stuff, tasty breakfast. With the parking it is a bit lottery, but overall would reccommend.

this hotel is shameful.....absolutely shocking. As soon as I walked into the reception, it stunk...walking into my hotel room was like going back to the 1970s. Old outdated furnishing...and not in a stylish way but in an ugly impoverished way. The only good thing was that the receptionist was friendly and helpful. On top of the rotten amenities..there's no parking

We were very satisfied with the staff at the hotel they were very helpful.

If your stay falls on a Saturday night, it is impossible to park at the basement carpark. The carpark is narrow so do drive with care. The beds are basic and neat. However, the floor tiles are sticky and little oily (for those who have kitchen facilities). There were a pair of socks and trousers left in the wardrobe by previous occupant. Be careful when you shower as water may flow over to the bedroom. Despite the comments, the hotel is at a great location and very near to swan river.

Cleanliness of room and a safe surrounding. However getting a Taxi, we need to walk 50km to the adjacent hotel with Available Taxi stand.

Good, comfortable hotel, small apartment more like a big room with cooking facilities, friendly helpful staff. A good walk (1.5K) to CBD & shopping.

Some of the rooms had been updated others not, all should have been, or not rented out.

Have read about many negative remarks about this hotel but our stay recently in this hotel was surprisingly good. The standard double room we booked was very clean, and bed was good. There is a small kitchenette as well. It was not as noisy as I have read. There is also a free secured car park for our rented car.

The location is good,just opposite of the hotel is the swan river. It's so nice to stroll along the swan river to the barrack jetty. The 1 bedroom we booked is spacious and my kids love it. The room comes with a kitchenette where we can do some cooking to save some money. Downside is The room design is very basic and the beds are too soft.

Very clean and comfortable, and as I was on my own, I found everything I needed on site, with secure parking and a lovely restaurant, although you could cater for yourself from snacks available in the foyer if preferred.

It was a pleasant and comfortable stay. The breakfast was good and the room spacy. What made this hotels special was the presence of the kitchen utensils and the microwave, so you could make some meals at your room.The only drawback was the internet arrangement: too expensive and a too low signal; at some times the connection was gone.

great location, excellent facilities in the room, loved the mini kitchen, bathroom needs a bit updating, breakfast was fresh and tasty

Awoken at 8.00 am by banging, drilling, sawing etc which seemed to be coming from the roof of the hotel. A we were on the top floor it certainly didn't help although I am sure the lower floors would have experienced enough noise to wake them also. I really don't know why the hotel didn't wait until 10.30 check-out time before carrying out such noisy works!

My stay was surprising in a good way, the location was good, standard room was good size, clean, modern decor, some nice views of river too until its built out, pleasant eating downstairs for breakfasts, staff where really good too. A great place to stay without spending huge dollars, all close to city centre.

Was quite happy. Was aloud to drop off all our bags off early so we could have room in our car. 24 hrs shop on corner and bottle shop up the road

Hotel was very clean and staff friendly. Everything we needed was there. The cheaper option for continental (buffet) breakfast was a nice surprise. However, there is a lot of construction work going on nearby and if you want to sleep late in the mornings it might not always be possible because of the noise. Otherwise very nice hotel.

Found the hotel a little "tired". I also thought for the standard of the hotel it was over-priced.

If you're looking for a relatively inexpensive place to stay in the Perth CBD, you're going to have trouble. I picked the Goodearth because it was on of the least expensive hotels with an semi-decent rating. It is acceptable, but I can't in good conscience recommend it. Very dated rooms (with noisy air conditioning). Free parking is available, but it tends to be overbooked, so if you're not parked early in the evening, you can be out of luck. On the other hand, the staff is friendly, and the price is (or at least was when I stayed there) pretty good. Depends on what you're looking for, I guess.
