La Quinta Inn & Suites New Orleans French Quarter - ניו אורלינס

We had a great time and the hotel was close to the parties and the shopping without being so close as to interrupt sleep. Britney at the desk went out of her way to make our stay fun. She went the extra mile to make the hotel seem like home.

My stay at your hotel was wonderful and I have become a groupie of La Quinta hotels. Everything was wonderful. PS. The receptionist shouldn't discourage guests from taking a self guided walking tour around the city. (No one does that she exclaimed!) It is a wonderful way to see the great city of New Orleans

The room and bed are big. Nice setting. The main problem was that the carpet in the room was soaked wet, when we arrive. If you walk on socks, they became wet very quick. The breackfast is very complete with alternatives.

Stayed here with my wife while I had a conference at the conference center. It was perfect for her to explore the French Quarter, and 1 block from both the Canal St. and St. Charles streetcar lines. Service was great, as is all service in NOLA. I was a little put off by the fact that they allow pets, something I didn't notice until we checked in. However, the carpet in our room was freshly shampooed and there was no evidence of pets anywhere to be found.

Cons: Hotel was not family oriented. There weren't any refrigerators or microwaves. Pros: Pool was open before scheduled time and that was nice.

I read the reviews before booking and was really afraid once I decided to book (price and location was great). The only things I can complain about are the hidden drive up for valet parking and my college party neighbors (which has nothing to do with the hotel). This place has a great knowledgeable staff and security who patrols each floor.

VERY CONVENIENT LOCATION; HOWEVER TOO MUCH CHARGED FOR HOTEL PARKING. I REGRET NOT HAVING DONE RESEARCH IN THIS REGARD PRIOR TO TRAVELING. CARPET IN THE ROOM APPEARED TO NEED SHAMPOO, OTHERWISE ROOM AND BATH WERE SPACIOUS AND WELL KEPT. STAFF WAS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND HELPFUL. LOCATION - TWO BLOCKS FROM THE FRENCH QUARTER WAS FINE, BUT THOSE TWO BLOCKS SEEMED A BIT SEEDY IN THE LATE EVENING.

I could not get the room cooled. Even tough I turned the thermostat down it would not cool the room. When I arrived I stood at the receptionist desk and the front desk person did not acknowledge me. I waited for about 5-10 minutes and said "excuse me, is this where I check in" Her reply was "check in is at 3pm" She was rude. I had to pull information out of her she was not forth coming with assistance. I will say the next morning I went down and she was in a much better mood. She seemed eager to help. But my first impression was not good.

I took a small group of students to New Orleans, and the hotel was great. Very conveniently located. Clean. Friendly staff. I would use it again.

Our overall weekend stay was great. Staff was friendly and courteous. The hotel was very clean. New Orleans is an expensive city to visit; however, since pet fees and breakfast are included the whole stay with 4 people and 2 dogs was very very reasonable. We will definitely come back!

I had to travel to New Orleans to go to the Venezuelan COnsulate. This hotel was only 3 blocks from it. We checked in Saturday around 5:30pm and were welcomed right away, the process only took a couple of minutes. We walked to the Riverwalk (about 5 blocks) and did the French Quarter on Sunday, very close to everything. We parked at the Whitney Parking lot right next door because the line for cars at the hotel was backed up, it's $30 a day but it's almost the same with the valet at the hotel and it's covered. Breakfast was fine, bagels, toast, a waffle maker, cereal and boiled eggs, coffee and juice. I would reccomend this hotel for anyone wanting to visit N.O. We had a high floor so the noise from outside didn't bother us. The beds were comfy.

We have stayed at La Quinta Inn & Suites before and were happy to again. The location in Camp Street, just off Canal Street and the French Quarter is perfect. The French Quarter is only a few minutes walk away and the trolley car to the Garden District very close as well. The hotel rooms are comfortable with coffee making facilities a bonus. The continental breakfast is a fairly basic buffet, but satisfactory. Reception staff are courteous. Definitely happy to stay here again.

Good value for our trip to Jazz Fest"

We booked our room while driving to the hotel with total ease. We had a spacious and very clean room. Valet parking was easy breezy. Bed was comfortable. Yes I will stay at this hotel again.

The LaQuinta is the embodiment of the old real estate axiom: location, location, location. Only a block or two off Canal and the entrance to the Quarter, it is removed enough from the craziness to be a suitable business hotel, but still convenient to all of the restaurants and nightlife. Hotel itself is fine - rooms were spacious and clean, but nothing special. My view was of concrete wall about 6 feet away, but who spends time in a NOLA hotel room? Valet parking was a bit disorganized, but everyone was friendly enough. I'd stay there again.

Was great experience, the people was very nice and the service is impeccable, the hotel is in a very cool area, very secure near to everything, good restaurants, metro station, touristic landmarks.. i highly recommend this place... a little difficult to park

I would gladly stay here again, but it doesn't jump out at you as exceptional for any reason. Staff was very nice. Rooms were perfectly average. Clean, okay location, all in all, equal to most chain hotels.

Positives: Close to French Quarter, lots of (chain-type) shopping in immediate area. Great rooms (we had to change beds for 2nd night as it was so soft it was uncomfortable). Breakfasts great. NEGATIVES: Only 1 person at front desk each time (one it was her first week!) so people had to wait & she was answering phones, helping people, etc. Parking was more than $30 a night!! So we paid an extra $100 for our stay there. TOO MUCH.

This hotel was in a very good location, within walking distance from the French Quarter. Our room was very spaciuos, in fact, I would describe it as large. The staff was great. Breakfast was OK, nothing special. My only negative would be there was no restaraunt on site. which forced you to go out to Canal St. to get any food after breakfast. If there was even a coffee shop, that would make it the perfect place to stay.

If you are staying at a hotel, I think its stupid that they make you pay for parking!!! If your staying, it should be included.....and I was unaware of it.

I booked the La Quinta because it was convenient to a conference I was attending. It is a nice hotel with a great staff. All were eager to help in every way and were completely pleasant to deal with. The continental breakfast is a big help and was more than just the run-of-the-mill pastries. It was a good (and free!) start to the day. I would not hesitate to stay here again for business or pleasure.

I arrived about half an hour before official check-in time. The room he gave me was meant for somebody in a wheelchair, I would have preferred a regular room. The view out of my 4th floor window was that of a block wall about 20' away. Everything else was pretty good. Excellent, safe location - a short walk to Mother's Restaurant and the French Quarter. The free breakfast was about the same as any other in a hotel at this price, but why eat there when there so many fine choices in this great eat and drink city? Even the hotel restaurant across the street has a top-notch breakfast buffet.

I stayed in a King-bed room that was very spacious, with a large sitting area. The room had all the basic appliances - small fridge, microwave and TV (rather small one). There were some maintenance issues - AC was not working properly, and a mirror was cracked, but it was clean and quiet. Given the location - 2-3 blocks from Bourbon, walking distance from the convention center, I think La Quinta offers good price performance.

Comfortable and well situated - not in the Quarter, buy within 2 short blocks. Could do with another chair in the room.

This was the perfect hotel downtown for anyone staying in town, wanting to be close to the French Quarter and trying to be on a budget.

There were repairs needed in the room. Heat did not work. Shades would not stay open. Bathroom doors close or latch. Clothes iron did not work. Had to request coffee filters, coffee and towels upon arrival. Room was more like a Motel 6 but the service was good. Location was very good and the room was clean.

too much noise from adjoining room. Called security both nights.

Our overall stay was ok. Nothing stood out as great. Nothing stood out as bad.

Booked a last-minute trip to New Orleans and this ended up being a great choice. Very nice location. Everything you need to see in the French Quarter/Central Business District is well within walking range without being right in the middle of it all. Relatively quiet block. Front desk clerks were extremely helpful and friendly at all times. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice continental breakfast that gets very busy at times. Our room was in the far corner of the hotel and the free wi-fi had a spotty connection. Would definitely consider staying here again.
