San Francisco Marriott Union Square - סן פרנסיסקו

The hotel was great. Clean and a great location but you need to factor in $49 a night for your car and you have to pay for wifi in your room.

The staff there was awesome, we had a wonderful experience will definitely stay there again.

We had concert tickets and wanted to stay on Union Square. No deals to be found there, for anyone who's looked! This Marriott was very nicely located right on the square and right on the cable car line. Disappointed there was no top floor bar, but we just walked to the Mark! Very clean and rooms were very comfortable. Staff was very friendly!

This was my first stay at the Marriott Union Square and I must say I was quite pleased with the value for the money (weekend night stay). The room was decent sized and had a great view of the city and bay. The bed was comfortable and the overall condition of the hotel was good. The only point is that there is nothing really "exceptional" about this hotel - it's typical Marriott style which is somewhat bland and cookie-cutter. If you are looking for a trendy or romantic facility - you won't find it here, which is probably why it caters more toward business types than weekend visitors to the city like I was. I am also getting tired of the high fees for internet and parking that many hotels (But not all) have in the city. This one has very high fees here. However, if you want a great location and predictable and decent quality, this is a good choice.

Great hotel!

very convenince in all areas

Don't normally leave reviews but I was surprisingly disappointed in this place. I normally love Marriott's but I found the staff to be cloying. There was an issue with my room the first night. There was some loud/almost shaking noise that not even getting a fan brought to the room could block out. It was discovered the next day (after calling 3 or 4 times to the front desk as they wouldn't follow back up with me like they said) that I was placed right next to the elevator bank and that it was a "noisy" room. At first I was told I couldn't be moved because there were no rooms in the hotel available, but then after my many calls, I was moved to a lower floor and everything was fine. I also had a weird encounter in the lobby with the person who helped me switch rooms. He kept calling me these names in an attempt to guess my last name. It was very uncomfortable. Honestly, I'm just surprised at the place, especially given the $400 a night price tag. You cannot beat the location, though.

We love this hotel. The staff is great, the location is great and the rooms are clean.

Great location and everything that one expects from Marriott - cleanliness, nice staff. Rooms were nice and clean. Bathroom could have been a little bigger, the sink was just too small. We requested fridge at check in and it was in our room within a few minutes. At another decent hotel in the area, we has to wait for an hour and call a few times to get the fridge. Generally, a good experience.

Check in was a breeze, hotel staff was so very friendly. We got in late so we decided to order room service. We are both vegetarians, so the room service staff made us both vegetable sandwiches - they were delicious! Had breakfast at the hotel on Saturday morning and it was fantastic. Again, the service was awesome. The food was terrific. I know this is the hotel I will choose for my next trip to San Francisco.

Very beautiful city, and the hotel was walking distance to the center of town, shopping areas, museum etc...

We've stayed at a lot of hotels in San Francisco and this one is gem. We had right clean room on the 27th floor with endless views. Proximity to a hundred a good restaurants, walking distance to Union Square and all transportation at your feet.

As always it was tremendous from the second we arrived to the second we left.

The staff of this hotel always goes above and beyond for me. Everyone is friendly and the hotel is spotless! The lounge is very comfortable and has a great menu.

Wonderful

Location of hotel was great - proximity to union square shopping and restaurants. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Unfortunately hotel does not provide free wifi in the room and there was no mini refrigerator which created some inconvenience.

Great location and clean quiet rooms

This was our first trip to San Francisco. The location is amazing - in my opinion one of the best locations in Union Square. The location is well lit, safe and right on the cable car line. It is in walking distance to bus routes, shopping, restaurants, Fisherman's Wharf, theatre, Starbucks, etc. The hotel is super clean, friendly and extremely helpful. If and when we return we will most definately stay here again - without a doubt!! :)

This is the 2nd year we met other family members at the marriott for a pre christmas get together. Facility is clean, room service very good, everyone offering to do whatever to make your arrival, stay & departure a good experience. We will return next year.

The room is clean, the staff is very helpful and informative. The hotel location is very good. Will stay in this hotel again for our next vacation!

I thought this was a great hotel with good food at breakfast and dinner, beautiful decor and a terrific bed. Only the charge for wifi in the room seemed out of place, considering the cost of the room itself.

Best choice for a wonderful stay. Convenient and easily accessible to all points of interest in SF.

Great location with shopping just blocks away. Cable car is the street beside and short walk to the hop on hop off bus tour.

we visit SF a few times a year. We will stay here again for sure. Hotel was great, service was great and the location is perfect for shopping and dining.

Not a single complaint

My daughter and I enjoyed 3 nights in a king suite. Very comfortable, clean room. Staff was friendly and attentive. Room service was tasty, quick, and generous portions. The lounge, with fireplace, was cozy and inviting with wine, soft drinks and perhaps a snack from 5-6, and tea or coffee in the morning. Short walking distance to some lovely restaurants (Fino, Farm Table among our favorites), and easy walking distance to Macy's flagship store, Uniqlo, many designer shops. Location couldn't have been any better for the NWM line-up. Easy access to Fisherman's Wharf. have always had wonderful experiences at Klimpton hotels; this was no exception. Will certainly visit again.

It was a great hotel and spacious for 4 people. I was nervous that it would be to small but there was room for a lounge chair and the bathroom was roomy too. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Would stay here again. It's also in walking distance to everything great plus.

The Marriott at Union Square is ideally located for access to the Cable Cars, Shopping, Restaurants, Hair Dresser, Taxis, Tours, and access to all San Francisco has to offer! So much to see and do and this location makes it easily accessible to everything. We were in town for my son's wedding and the wedding party easily walked to the Church and the Reception! Our room was cleaned daily and then a second time before retiring in the evening. Excellent Service!

Room was super, clean, but a bit crowded! Location was perfect and the staff was great! Thanks....I will definitly stay again. One negative was the parking fee, a bit expensive.
