Clean, comfortable room. Hotel location great for walking to various attractions. Hotel restaurant is great; also others with great foods nearby.

In a bustling part of town for locals with several clubs around area but not far for a bike ride to the Smithsonian or walk to the White House. I was lucky enough to receive a room with a view of the park which was not a good thing at night. Made it very hard to sleep at night with the nightlife - constant honking, loud music playing and cars zooming by. Hotel lobby was overall very nice and the 14K restaurant was delicious and had many patrons. As for my room; wifi was not included and was $14, the bathtub floor was stained and there was no bath robe which is typical of most hotels. Lastly, I think it's a DC thing but do NOT let the bellhop grab you a cab to the airport. They pawn you off to their contacts who end up upcharging you. Just get your own taxi or uber!

I travel weekly for work and I booked this hotel as a "treat" to myself on my last night in DC. However when I finally found the hotel (GPS did not have the correct address on my phone) I pulled up to Valet and there was nobody to greet me. I stool outside with my bag for about 5 minutes before someone came out to ask if I was going to park my car. They charge $50 to part your car overnight, even if you are staying in the hotel - the front desk explained I could walk blocks down the street and park my car in a garage which obviously I was not going to do with a week's worth of luggage. Finally, I am a rewards member and I enjoy a "thank you for staying with us" but never received it. Clean and nice facility but I didn't get customer service I thought I would. I left feeling disappointed that I paid the extra money when I get better customer service from a Holiday Inn Express. Maybe I caught them on a bad day.

First two (2) nights were great. The third night I got no sleep due to club noise down the street, fights outside on the side-walk, and police lights due to those issues. Good location for my visit and easy access to the Metro station down the street. Staff were very helpful when I asked them questions.

Perfect location; clean; personable and helpful staff. Bummed that internet charged per day and per device. In this day and age, frankly, I expect free internet. Nice buffet brunch.

Elevators, hallways and hallway ceilings were all somewhat claustrophobic (small, low, tight). Mattress, shower and air conditioning were all good.

We were very pleased with the quality of the hotel and restaurant. Excellent happy hour between 4pm and 8pm. Lots of food choices that were well-prepared and well-priced. Only one small issue - our first full day there, our room was still not cleaned by 330pm when we returned from sight-seeing. A quick call to the front desk resolved that and there were no further issues. Very pleased with the response. Great location -- close to White House, and 20 min walk to the National Mall. Metro one block away. Would stay there again.

The hotel and staff were great. Was in town for an even at The Hamilton Live which was a few blocks away. Check in was fast, rooms were imaculate and very stylish. Only complaint was that the room and hotel was very warm. The hallways were as if the heat was on and I thought I'd hate to see what it's like in the middle of summer. Our room, though thermostat was turned down to a chilly temp, never got cool enough. The beds were very comfotable with what seemd to be a feather pillow topper on the matress which in combination with the lack of cold enough A/C, kept your body warmth in and I found it warm all night and not fully getting a good night sleep. Perhaps it was just our room but whatever the reason I would think twice before booking this hotel again.

Positives: From doormen to check-in staff to room service to housekeeping to concierge (and anything in between) I can only say they went far beyond basic service. We actually left feeling like favored family members. Negative: TV service. The hotel is obviously having some sort of issues with television channels. Some disappear totally for a while, and most do not appear in sequential numbers. If you found a channel you liked, it was best to stay there.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Hamilton. A great location, you can walk to the White House, monuments, Smithsonian, Capitol, etc. The room was exceptionally comfortable and very clean. The bed was heavenly. The hotel is also close to Dupont Circle, an easy walk to lots of great restaurants and shops, but far enough to be nice and quiet at night. It also is great to have a Starbucks attached for an early morning coffee! I would definitely stay here again. The staff was helpful and courteous, the room lovely, the location great.

Room was small but clean and comfortable, noise from outside was minimal. Location was great, within walking distance from National Mall. On-site Starbucks was convenient.

The staff is very accommodating. Our first night, it was very loud and noisy because our room was facing the front street. As soon as I mentioned that to the front desk, they moved us to a much quieter room. The rooms are very small but clean. We did not spend a lot of time in our room so it was fine.

Everything was top notch except the restaurant was awful. Awful as in keep walking, don't even order eggs and toast. The rest...really really good!!

Me and my 6 year old son stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and we loved it. perfect location, only 10 minutes to white house, 20 to smithonian museums ...everything is wlaking distance. There is circulator bus station right in front of the hotel that takes you to Georgetown.... great restaurant and bar that is always alive, people are nice and helpful! Would definitely stay at this hotel again!Rooms are really nice, comfortable beds and nice decor!only one complain would be parking fee of $42 +tax, which brings you to $50 total for parking a day :( other that that its a great hotel!!!

The room was ok but we have had better. It took way too long to get an elevator (usually could get on the 3rd or 4th one, first few were usually full). The shower curtain rod was all rust. The people in the next room were way too loud. The last morning we were there we went down to breakfast (the only time we ate there during our visit), $60.00 later for cold food from the buffet and the service was the worst we have had in a very long time starting with the hostess who couldn't even smile, the waiter who (lets just say I never did get my drink) and the one poor guy working the eggs and the roast for the buffet could not do more than one thing at a time (when asked by another customer for something he just looked at the customer then ignored him). When we did check out the front desk did not even bother to ask us how our stay was. So needless to say "never again". The one thing I can say they did right was direct us to the best Italian restaurant we have been to in a long time just one block down.

Staff are nice and hotel has everything you need and is well maintained. Location is good, only a few blocks, short walk, to White House and several restaurants close by too. I try to stay here when I'm in DC - book early as the rooms go quickly!

Within walking distance of all attractions. View from window was an air conditioning unit. Didn't really matter. Room was kinda on the small side. Once again, no big deal. Room was clean, along with entire hotel. Would stay again.

Rooms were great, clean and bed was very comfortable. I had a great view of the park. Room rates were very reasonable. I will definitely return to the Hamilton Crowne Plaza.

A short walk from the White House and The National Mall, nice Hotel small room but very nice, clean, upscale, all staff very courteous and helpful, nice Bar/Resturant, a small park across the street a little un-sightly alot of homeless hangout and get fed there. $$ price I would stay here again I really liked "The Hamilton"

The hotel itself was very nice. Staff was not very welcoming and becoming. Valet took a while bringing the car. My overall stay was not very satisfying. I do not intend or recommend staying here again.

I would stay here again and again. My wife and I travel extensively and this is one of the Nicest hotels we have stayed at in the U.S. We really loved it.

Customer Service made rounds to tell my guests and I to keep the noise down, meanwhile we were chatting & laughing. There was no noise, the laughter was at minimum. Feels like I was in a library.

My lady and I never partied in dc before hotel was literally in the middle of three clubs within a block walking distance. We didn't go there but cab ride to Adams Morgan was only ten bux.... but as far as the service it was great very friendly staff and other guest were just as friendly would definitely stay again for sure. Close to white house and other historical attractions. Room was amazing as well....

We stayed there for the rock and roll marathon love the hotel. Everything is within walking distance. Located in the heart of the city.

I ony stayed a night but was satisfied with the quality and comfort of my room. The only criticism I might have would be the noise from the streets down below...the cars never stopped honking through out the night! Additionally, this may sound dumb, especially if there was in fact a closet in the room, but I did not see one. Overall though, I was pleased with my stay.

I only stayed one night but I found the hotel very satisfying. Walking distance to the National Mall and close to the metro. I recommend renting one the city bikes of which there are 2 docking stations close to the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, very clean, perfect choice

The hotel staff, from the front desk, concierge, valet, bellman were very friendly and so willing to help. We were able to get directions, they printed out mapquest directions, pointed us in the right direction everytime we left the hotel. Our room service food was great. We had a great room. Our overall stay with this establishment was excellent.

The hotel was clean and everyone very professional. Rates were good compared to surrounding areas. Coffee shop, bar, and restaurant within the building. Many events within walking distance of the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The room was clean and comfortable. Good selection of TV stations. Quiet. Love the Temple Spa products.
