Good place. I liked the bed, bf did not. Shower made a funny noise when you turned on too much hot water. The hotel itself was awesome. The surrounding area not so much and its far from downtown but super close to the airport so it depends on where you wanna be.

Mostly comfortable with one exception: The bathroom was not as clean as I would expect, especially the floor, which looked like it had not been washed in a long time.

I was disappointed, the condition of the hotel was very dated, my room was not very clean (sticky stuff on the floor). The a/c didn't work, the mattresses were thin and not comfortable. There were no hand towels, my door key didn't work.

I had a great time here. The staff was friendly. The gym was nice and the pool was clean.

I thought hotel wasn't fairly rated by others. I was very apprehensive but alleviated upon arriving. Room was clean and comfy and restaraunt food was good, rates reasonable.

It's a nice hotel... For being a plaza hotel seem a little out dated... But was nice

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and just what I needed after getting in late. The shuttle driver took me straight to Avis the next day rather than back to the airport and was very personable. I appreciated that he went out of his way for me. The breakfast buffet was a good deal. Yes, the property was older, but I found it more than adequate.

I had to do a one-day trip and flew in late to LGA and then out late the next night. Perfect when you just need a clean, safe place to sleep during a quick business trip. A few minutes from the airport with free shuttle service and town cars to the city. Would recommend for business travelers.

The breakfast room needs a complete overhaul Food cold.

It's not a good hotel surrounding neighborhood. There's nothing but airport and highways -- not even a convenience store in sight. The hotel was clean, basic and comfortable. However I was disappointed in the old TV sets that come with the room, especially since I had just come from another hotel that had two HD flat screen TVs in the suite. TV is something that makes things luxurious for me and this hotel failed. Traveling by taxi using the hotel's bellman is very expensive. I paid $25 for a 5 minute ride to a nearby plaza.

The front desk staff (Lisa) and the Bar / Lounge staff were great. The room was a complete let down from the small CRT television, uncomfortable King size bed, and filthy ancient 80s tub faucet and shower head. I seriously didn't event want to take a shower.

I really was not too picky as I was trying to stay under budget. I was pleasantly surprise of how amiable and courteous the staff was. The hotel itself was a bit dated but the customer service made the stay a complete success.They were beyond patient with us at check out time which is unheard of in the hotel industry typically. As a matter fact, they made such a great impression that I have already booked them for our second getaway

The exhaust fan does not turn off in bathroom it is very hard to sleep from the noise. Would not stay here again.

Older interior. Friendly staff. Quick check in and the burger was very nice! Of course, you will choose this place given that it a mile away from LGA but never, never miss the shuttle which runs 24 hours and every 15 minutes. I missed by a couple of minutes and the livery cab costed $15 for that mile.

Air vent in restrooms can not be turn off. Makes it very hard to sleep. Will not stay here again.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was close to the LaGuardia airport if you were flying in from there. I think they should invest in luggage carts if they are not going to to provide assistance with guests luggage to the rooms. The breakfast buffet was reasonable and the food was moderate. If you do not mind traveling and paying the extra cost for cabs, train or the bus into Times Square then this hotel works for the price.

I knew from previous reviews the hotel was dated and that was not a concern. The staff was very helpful, the food was good, close to the 7 train and airport....a distance from Manhattan but the price was worth it. The mattress was way to soft for me and the pillows were a joke. The hallway reeked of smoke, but I know the hotel cannot ensure smoke free if rude people choose to smoke when they shouldn't in the rooms.

The Hotel was horrible, the room, was nothing that I was expecting, and they charge me $50.00 extra for some charge that I did not make it.

I had good service when we pulled up to our hotel, someone helped us with our luggage right away. I give this hotel a 'fair' rating, certainly not impressive though..There were more reasons why I wouldn't stay at this hotel again than any reason why I would consider it again: This hotel has a very fancy entrance, but the room we had was absolutely nothing special. The beds had cheap looking metal frames... They looked to me like something you would pick up from K Mart, but I could be wrong. It also had an old tube TV in the room. Granted, we didn't even watch TV and that's not critical.. but when you stay at a hotel that isn't the cheapest one out there you just expect a modern tv in the room, for the price you pay. Also there is no complimentary coffee in lobby.. I know some other hotels are like that but I can't stand that cheap stuff they put in your room.. Granted, New York hotels are outrageously expensive all around, but for the price you have to pay when you go to New York, I certainly want more of a hotel than this one.. This hotel is down the street from LGA airport, and that is the main reason we picked it.. But there are other hotels not far from this one. I would recommend considering those ones first.

Overall our stay was fairly good. It seemed a bit expensive for the lack of amenities. After spending a day out site seeing I was expecting to come back to a clean room. However, it seemed as though only the garbage had been emptied. Beds were not made!! Beds were very uncomfortable. Only purchased one meal from hotel restaurant as it was extreamly overpriced! And there was no room service making it very inconvenient. The hotel staff however was very polite and helpful!

The shuttle bus came quickly upon calling. The night staff was helpful and efficient. The beds were not as comfortable as others but the room was clean and in good repair. The breakfast included in the rate was very good. The only disconcerting item was the huge inflatable rat on a truck at the entrance. Apparently there is a union picket/ strike type situation?

Enjoyed the stay. Staff were friendly and able to accommodate early arrival. Location was great near the airport.

I only stayed here because I absolutely had to. I would not stay here under normal circumstances. Quality has severely decreased since it changed hands from the Crowne Plaza.

Online days bars open till 4 and its not... The taxi fee is not 8$ to the subway station....the rooms are outdated.....

this is a good place, family friendly and easily accessible.

When we walked into our room we were surprised at how out dated it was. Cheesy mattress and bedding. The bathroom, tv were OK. The view out the window was so cloudy from how dirty the windows were. we only had a few minutes to get over to our show and when we returned to change for dinner we found on the floor near the bed tons of ants coming in and out of the wall, and we were on the 7th floor. We ended up checking out without any problems from management.

Hotel was very comfortable and convenient to what we were doing during our vacation. I would definitely stay here again...

I found the hotel to be more than adequate to my needs although I was only there one night before flying out. The free shuttle service to the airport terminals ran every 20 minutes and was very convenient. I had noisy neighbors in the next room that kept me awake till 2am but that is hardly the fault of the hotel. The only thing I could fault the hotel for was that they had the airport van parked right in front of their name so that the person who brought me had difficulty finding it.

Previous stay when it was under Crowne Plaza management & it's age is showing. Very comfortable bed but the WORST pillows I've ever encountered. Front desk staff & shuttle drivers were excellent, Good value for the money & I would stay here again. As a single woman, I felt very safe there.

I needed a hotel close to Forest Hills in Queens NY (which is near La Guardia Airport). The staff were very friendly and when I went to park in the self-park lot net to the hotel it was full, hotel security found a place for me to park overnight. The hotel used to be the Crown Plaza and is not the La Guardia Plaza, so all of the decor/fittings are still Crown Plaza.The hotel is old but clean, comfortable and tidy. Will stay there again.

We had a great time. It was short but the kids food was great...beer was cold and the kids loved the pool. We will be staying here again.

Hotel is clean but needs updated linens

Staff were courteous and responsive but the building and rooms need some TLC. The hotel looks old and tired as does the room though it was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Stay here only if you really need a fast ride to La Guardia. The staf are not friendly and the room smell cigars.

This was my first time staying at this hotel. The people at guest services were very efficient. "Arturo" was the warmest server in the restaurant. I chose this hotel also for the shuttle service to and from LaGuardia, but unfortunately the shuttle service at the hotel was not consistent. The bellmen were very helpful in getting us a car to go into the City. It also would have helped if they had had room service 24 hrs. since our business in the city got us back to the hotel rather late and my colleagues and I were hungry. However, the price for the room was very competitive. I'd certainly consider staying here again.
