The Pearse Hotel - דבלין

Read all other reviews. Would recommend this hotel. Some of the fittings are a bit old. If it was upgraded - then price would lift to suit. But if you look at the price paying - I defy any one to find better value for money anywhere else in Dublin. We will be back to Pearse Hotel.

The room was nice, clean and spacious. Bed was nice and big and comfy. However the receptionist was rude to a customer on the phone when they were inquiring about prices and just hung up on them. not a good first impression on the hotel. I am staying there again in 2 days and i would recommend this hotel.

We were very satisfied with the location and our accommodations. The people there were outstanding and gave us exceptional service and attention.

No over-friendly greeting when we arrived. No curb appeal. Bartender was very friendly. Rooms are old and run down. Bathroom shower curtain had black mold on bottom. Ice machine for hotel was broken (said for 2 years), alarm clock in our room was broken, old carpet, flat pillows, phone did not work, some lights did not work. TV was a old small dinosaur tv. Would not recommend staying here.

Reception staff extremely helpful. Will definitely be staying here again.

Close to the O2 venue.

Although brief, we found the hotel comfortable, clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful and provided a good level of service. The restaurant provided good quick service and nice food.

I was very happy with the hotel until the next morning when I woke up and saw blood on my pillow case and on parts of the duvet. It was obviously old blood - I'd say it was a nose-bleed by someone else. I felt ill thinking that i had slept on unclean sheets. I reported it to the receptionists when I was checking-out and am waiting for them to ring me about it. It is a pity because it is a lovely hotel and the staff were very friendly.

down side late check in at 15hrs otherwise very good and comfortable room

The interior of this hotel is many years past its best. Either downgrade it to a hostel at 25 euro/night or gut and refurbish (total!). Faded carpets, old beds, noisy, shabby.... The area is pretty bad although it is close to the Grand Canal docks. The gym is a forgotten room with a few bits of equipment. Etc., etc. Smelly old hotel. There are much better hotels in Dublin for this money.

Although it was only a one night stay I would have no hesitation in staying there again. It was perfect.

We had a great time with our stay. The staff was extremely helpful with bus routes and how to get around town. We enjoyed having breakfast in the morning at the hotel and planning our day. The only thing was the airport transportation buses drop off (and pick up) close to the entrance of Trinity College, and it is a good 6 or 7 blocks (with luggage and kids, it could be rough). We had a good time sightseeing, but it was a drag walking back to the hotel at night.

Hotel was very convenient to grand canal theatre area and room was clean and tidy, although very worn in places e.g. rotting door frame (room 247). Breakfast was plentiful and very nice. However, we had a meal in the restaurant which wasn't great, particularly the garlic mushrooms. Staff were friendly and check-in was efficient.

I stayed here with my friend . Check in was at 3pm , we arrived at 11am and were able to check in to our room straight away . We had a double bed each ! The staff were all very friendly and extremely welcoming and accommodating . Hotel was clean and only a short walk from the city centre . I would most definitely stay there again .

good value hotel with large comfortable rooms. Arrived early (12.30) but they immediately found a room that was ready so I could check in Breakfast was fine. Would certainly stay again when in Dublin.

Only problem room noisy at night due to traffic

The rooms are nice and spacious and the hotel is in a perfect location only minutes to everywhere and a shop 10seconds from the front door, and smoking rooms as an option which is always good and the room when we got there didnt smell of smoke or anything it was a fresh clean room. And nice breakfast:-)

The location was just a bit out of the way from the center of the city. the pillows were very hard, other than that it was a nice stay and a clean hotel located in more of a residential/business area.

Excellent location close to the city. Hotel was beautiful and staff very friendly. Very competitive price too. Would stay again

The Pearse hotel was fantastic! Spacious and comfortable rooms, excellent restaurant serving really good meals, and very friendly and helpful staff. It is a little way from the town centre and the main attractions which meant having to get a taxi to most places because the weather was poor, but can't fault the hotel itself.

I enjoyed our stay. I wanted something to eat before we went out, I would have liked more of a restaurant feeling to our evening meal, we eat in the bar!

Great hotel only negative point is there is no free Wi-Fi.

great location but hard to find car park due to the one way roads around dublin. staff was so helpfull and were very friendly. the food was good main meals around €10.00 each good size portions. the only thing is the rooms were too warm, the best value hotel i have ever stayed in , will be going back again as you can walk to the shops and the O2 ,

Hotel very convenient for city centre and Bord Gais Theatre just round corner.Room very clean but a couple of the lamps in the room did not work. Staff friendly but breakfast not up to scratch. Will just book room only if I stay here again.

delighted we picked this hotel enjoyed our stay

Couldn't fault the hotel itself, clean, affordable, close to town, friendly staff. The disaster lay in the parking at the hotel which is shared with others, the allocated spaces for the hotel are marked with a white dot which wasn't clearly communicated to us at the time. We had our phone on silent mode as we were attending a wedding at a nearby church, the hotel tried in vain to reach us to move our car . We had 20 mins to move our car but didn't get the message from the hotel on time. We were clamped and it cost us €120 to release it. We are trying to appeal. Very expensive wedding!!

I incorrectly booked the wrong date but the hotel and Hotels.com were very helpful and sorted me out. Hotel is very central and has a nice elevated bar with a view onto the city landscape. Room was large and confortable. Also, the vending machine is reasonably priced which is a nice change. VG all round.

all ok but returned to hotel at 11.30 and had to take our drink up to our room ,would have liked a residents lounge as we were not allowed stay in the bar.

Vertay pleasent would stay there again

This is my second time staying at this hotel and on both occasions, I've been very satisfied with it, especially my last stay. I found the receptionist ,that was working during my stay there, an absolute pleasure to deal with. I was due to meet friends at the ferryman bar, close to the hotel. Because I was on my own, I enquired with the receptionist, I think her name was Catherine, about getting a taxi. she told me that she would be finishing work in 5 minutes and that she would be passing the bar so she would drive me there. She was most pleasant to deal with. I will be going back again to stay.

v good wasnot as near to center city as advised but hotel was good and broom clean .breakfast v good.would stay again.

Hotel was clean as you would expect. The bar was closed at 11.30 when we came back from the concert and the only room service was vender machines on each floor. Will not be staying there again.
