Best Western Premier Seoul Garden Hotel - סיאול

This was my second and probably last time I stayed at this hotel in downtown Seoul. The facilities are very decent and the hotel does have rooms that are very nice (as I saw before) but they are not accessible to Hotels.com customers. What bothered me more than anything else is the inattentive service at the front desk. They see a traveller coming into the hotel with a large suitcase for three nights and assign him a room the size of a closet. The closet itself of course did not fit many of my clothes. Not so much fun. I was also surprised that BF and other charges were not credited to my Best Western card for points but that maybe a BW rule?

Good location, good price.

My stay was very comfortable. I appreciated the courteous staff and the cleanliness of the hotel.

We were disappointed when we arrived at the hotel in the morning after our flight arrived at 6am as we were told that there was no rooms available for us to check in. Later after breakfastat abolut 10.30am there were rooms available & we were able to check in but we were told that there were only smoking rooms available. On entering the rooms we also found that there was no chair provided for the writing table & the room was very small.

Hotel location is great. Hotel is a bit older condition, room on the small side but everything you need is there. Service was good and was easy to communicate with staff.

The room was much smaller than expected, smelled of stale cigarettes although it stated it was non-smoking, and was located above a VERY noisy patio. However, the bed was super comfortable and the coffee, though weak, was not that instant concoction served in most Korean hotels. The neighborhood didn't have much in the way of shopping but was very convenient to the subway and bus systems. The Express bus to the airport picked up right across the street and there was a 7-11 and a Starbucks practically next door. The front desk staff was less than helpful in every matter that was brought to them. For instance, when asked if the bus to the airport would be running (THEY were selling me the ticket) due to the current Typhoon, they told ME to check the internet. I usually try to stay at Best Westerns in general but I will try a different one on my next trip to Seoul.

Despite it's a good hotel, the rooms are too small.

This was the first time I've stayed in this hotel.(most major hotels were sold out). Know that this is not like Hilton or Marriott. However, this hotel is MUCH better thatn the Best Western in USA. Staffs were all professional, very friendly and helpful. Room are on the smaller side but not small at all - Bed were comfortable and linens are very fresh and crispy. Room/bathroom don't look anything fancy (kind of dull and dated) but efficient/clean. (think of rooms at Holiday Inn). Location wise, you pretty much have to take the taxi almost everywhere. However, everything is pretty close by on either North or South side of the Han river. It cost about $6-$10 (dependitng on the traffic condition) taxi ride for most of the attractions and businesses in Seoul area. KAL limousin bus from Inchun airport stops right in front of the hotel. There is McDonald across the street and about 3 coffee shops (including Starbucks) within half block from the hotel. There are lots of local restaurants behind the hotel. In room wired and wireless high speed internets in the lobby area are FREE. There isn't any tourist attraction in walking distance from the hotel. In overall, for the price I've paid for this hotel, there isn't anything I can complain. This is super valued but efficient hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great value (or, if there are no other 'usual' high end business hotel rooms unuvailable...)

Convenient location with lots of good value & nice Korean food along streets behind the hotel & just 2 minutes walk to MAPO Subway station, & about 15 minutes taxi ride to business area eg : Seoul Finance Centre. The only issues are the internet is too slow & i personally prefers having a standing shower rather than the existing bath tub which looks a bit old, other than that the stay was good & the staff are very helpful especially the Concierge staff, keep up the good work guys, will definitely be back again, cheers

I think for this price everything is decent. Close to MTR station, just that the station is far a bit far away from other tourist stations. Not much stuff you can do around this area. Hotel guys are friendly. Room is a bit small but in Seoul, everything is small, so be prepared. They charge you for making local calls.

Very nice, large hotel 300 m from Mapo subway station, 10 min by taxi from central rail station. The hotel was very clean, very friendly, with helpful service/personnel. My room was clean, good size, comfortable. Free wired internet access. The best part was the spa, which was, unfortunately FOR MEN ONLY.

If it from the West, you know it's the best and it's true. This hotel situate 2 minutes walk from the subway which would take you around Seoul. It is also in front of Limousine Bus would take you to or from Incheon Seoul airport which would cost you around $15 AUD. There are convenient shops and banks surrounding the hotel as well as McDonalds. Myeodong market is 5 minutes away if catch the taxi and 20 minutes for walking. The only dissapoint moment I had with the hotel is they speak very limit of English at the counter and gave us wrong information about the check out time which they denied. So if you are going to choose a hotel, I would recommmend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed here for 2 nights after F1 race - nice hotel, especially compared to the love hotels near the F1 track. Reasonable price, near to 2 subway stations and an airport bus stop over the road, so easy to get around. Mildly awkward to get there from Seoul station with luggage by subway, but doable. I cheated and took a taxi which was also quite reasonable. A major highlight for me was dinner at the Italian restaurant in the hotel - delicious and affordable, surprised me and surpassed expectations.Not the centre of town but I would stay here again - served my purposes well.

The Seoul Garden Hotel, very clean and friendly, is indeed ideally situated giving fast access to both Seoul Airports, the subway system and the major Broadcasters ... if you work in the television field like me. That was my 4th stay and I will come back!

great hotel, helpful staff and provided plenty of guidance and assistance for finding locations in Seoul. Hotel restuarants were pricey and service abrupt on the evening we ate there.

My boyfriend and I decided to book a room at this hotel because we were going to a party that was hosted in one of the hotel's event rooms. Even though we got a greatly discounted price off of hotels.com it was HARDLY worth the price. The room (single) was TINY even though it is advertised as appropriate for 2 guests (their double rooms were all booked). My room was the width of my boyfriend's arm span, literally. He could touch his fingertips to both ends of the wall when standing in the middle. The first time we tried to turn off the lights by pushing in the button, the entire light switch went through the wall! The air conditioning was barely working, and we asked for someone to come and look at it. The hotel worker said "I'm sorry, it is working at maximum power, however this building is very old. I will bring you a fan". It was very kind of him to bring us a fan, but a hotel like this shouldn't be resorting to that kind of temporary fix. The location is a business area, and so it is not suited if you are on vacation or looking for any type of entertainment. There are no restaurants in the area, which was very inconvenient. All in all, the staff were VERY kind and helpful, however this couldn't make up for the lack of air conditioning, size of the room, location or price. I would NOT recommend this hotel.

The service was fantastic, the location was awesome for getting around as well as getting to the airport. This was a great hotel - the only thing that was not accurate in the advertisement was that there was no internet available in the rooms., but there were computers available in the lobby. Great hotel, great staff, great stay!

Thank goodness we are not big sized people and managed to live quite comfortably in this very tiny room for 2 persons. Had no idea it was that small before I booked it Thought they could be a bit more generous about the pillows . How do u share 3 pillows between 2 persons ? Other wise, it was a very pleasant stay with helpful staff , clean and well maintained rooms and a convenient location.

The hotel I got through the website was great. I got a good deal in terms of pricing and quality. In terms of location, I could hardly have asked for a better place. The hotel is roughly a 50-metre walk from the nearest subway station, meaning local transport is a breeze. Regarding the coach to and from the airport, the hotel was only one stop from the airport, so I was very satisfied.

The service was good, and the room was very clean, but very small

The hotel is clean and comfortable and i managed to get great rates from Hotels.com. Transfer from Incheon is convenient as it is within the airport limousine bus route(No. 6015). A few local coffee joint and Starbucks are just a few doors away. Next to the hotel there is a convenience store and a pharmacy is just around the corner. Quite a number of restaurants behind the hotel and across the main road but i didn't manage to try any. Breakfast was not included with the room rates. I did try the buffet breakfast, the spread was adequate but a bit costly. They have the american breakfast(toast, beans, bacon,sausage, eggs), local fare(rice, seaweed soup, kimchi), japanese(miso soup), porridge and cereal and fruits. However, the hotel staff were aloof and not very friendly. I informed the hotel in advance that my check in will be late evening. Upon arrival we settled for meal at the hotel bar. We were informed that it close at midnight and since it was only 10.30pm we could still order our food. The waiters and manager were not friendly and infact they were impatient. We were too tired having just arrive to go out for food. A band was playing and there were 3 other tables occupied. We quickly finished our meal and retired to our rooms. Needless to say we did not go to the bar again. The service really needs improvement. Also if you are planning for a shopping trip, this hotel is not in a convenient location for you.

Very nice location as it is only a few minutes walk from two subway stations and a lot of good restaurants are nearby. Also, the airport shuttle bus stop is right across the street. However, our room was a lot smaller than expected and felt a bit cramped.

This hotel has a good location with subway stations and a bus stop. However, room is very small, staffs are not that much kind, quality of room service foods is terrible, and there is no wire-less internet accessibility in consistent with the hotel information. In particular, room maids did not meticulously do their jobs, so that used cups were not replaced with new clean ones. Therefore, I would not recommend this hotel to others.

If your stopover in Seoul and need a hotel to stay overnight, this hotel can be considered. For long term stay, go for another 3-4 star hotel. The hotel noise blockage system is bad. You can hear people talking loudly next door and when housekeeping was working along the corrider, you can hear the door slam. Asking the reception and bell staff for assistance were also difficult to get an answer. The only good side of the hotel is it location is about 2 min to Mapo station (line 5).

The greeting was polite and the lobby was bright. The room was small. It reminded me of a single room with a twin bed thrown in against the wall. This hotel is OK, no shiny bells or impeccable delights, just your average run of the mill money churning hotel chain. Next time I come to Seoul I'll be taking a smaller family run hotel as I think it would be just as OK as this big supposedly fancy one. I hope this helps :-)

Hotel has a good location next to Mapo Metro Station. Pick-up point for airport limousine bus service is also located right outside the hotel, making commuting to and from the airport very convenient (you can use both the metro and the limousine bus). Hotel staff were friendly. The receptionists and concierge could speak English. Lots of eating places around the hotel, especially korean bbq. Walls were a bit thin though, and I could hear people talking in neighbouring rooms. Rooms were also a bit small. On the whole a decent hotel. Free internet in the rooms and lobby, making it easy to plan our itinerary on the go.

Easy access to subway and near downtown Seoul. Very convenient to the airport bus and a good clean hotel for business and recreational travelers.

The hotel is almost next to an underground station, which means you can get to anywhere in Seoul easily. The neighbourhood behind the hotel is very nice - small streets, lots of small bars, restaurants and shops. Everything was as expected, except the room was a bit on the small side for the price, but most people do not spend a lot of time in the room anyway. It was fine for me.

The hotel is good value for money - clean, near to subway train station with complimentary wireless internet. The immediate neighbourhood though has nothing much to offer in terms of shopping or sightseeing. However it is less than 3 km from the city centre and is easy to take the subway to shopping areas and sightseeing places. The hotel itself is good.

Everything was good except the carpet inthe rooms. Needs new carpet.

Arriving at this hotel could not be easier, since a clearly marked bus from the airport arrives directly in front of the facility. My room was small (not unusual in Asia) and nothing stylish, but a very good value. Front desk service was friendly and helpful. I have no complaints about this hotel, and would stay there again when next in Seoul.

Hotel room was small, narrow. We were surprised by lack of universal power outlets so you need right plugs. They provide lan internet so you need your laptop but no wi-fi except in the lobby which they don't tell you. They also have an "internet room" in the lobby but when I asked the staff on our floor, they didn't know. For a short stay, it is convenient.

Best Western Seoul Garden Hotel was quick and easy to get to from Incheon Airport because it was the first stop on our shuttle bus. Location was good, close to a subway stop, and very close to central Seoul (Myeong-Dong area and Seoul Station). Hotel was modern and very clean, with lots of travertine marble. The bathroom was fine but a bit dated (like most hotel bathrooms in Japan and Korea- why do they all look the same?). Bed was comfy and room was modern and clean, even had bathrobes and slippers. The hotel doesn't offer much else other than a bar.

I had a wonderful experience in Best Western Seoul Garden Hotel. Location was near Mapo Subway Station.Would stay there again.

エアコンのスイッチをOFFにしても止まらない。スイッチをONにして風量を調節しても、風量はいつも一定。スイッチをOFFにしても風量調節は効かない。つまりエアコンはスイッチに関係なくいつも一定。唯一の助けは、温度調節だけは出来たこと。

아늑하고 좋았어요. 위치도 좋고, 서비스도 좋았어요

3回目の滞在です。HTLのｺﾝｼｱｰｼﾞの方が素晴らしい・・何でも聞いてみると、大変親切に教えてくれます。HTLの周辺はﾏﾎﾟ焼肉で有名ですし、サンゲタンの店も美味しい店があります。また、今回は桜がとても綺麗でした。次回（6月）も予約しました。今度は近くのﾁﾑﾁﾙﾊﾞﾝに行ってみようと思っています。

Super-Sized Bed, I just had stayed in Deluxe room, But it size make me surprised. And Airport limousine bus is just in front of the Hotel. It's faculty is best then ever.

酒店服務不錯，front desk 服務員英文 ok，酒店位置極佳，機場巴士站於酒店門口，亦有多條巴士線經過，去明洞及汝矣島可用巴士直達，方便！ 酒店後面已經有一街食店，非常方便。 酒店房內有免費網絡線，但浴室比較細及舊，不過房間清潔，所以沒問題。
