The Langham, Hong Kong - קאולון

I can only say good things about the Langham Hotel in Hong Kong. The hotel is excellent and the staff are very professional and helpful. The breakfast was awesome with a wide selection of dishes to choose from on the buffet and it was definitely worth paying for. I stayed in a Deluxe Langham Room on the 12th floor which was a decent size and comes with free internet. The location of this hotel is excellent, located right in the center of dowtown Kowloon and close to many transport options, like MTR and ferry.

What can i say, very nice after weeks in European hotels. Great pool, service, Grand room beautiful.

We had an excellent stay in this hotel. The staff can remember your name & service is excellent too.

I stayed in an old room on the 13 th floor. The room was dated and humid. Clearly not worth the price. So there is a huge difference between renovated and mon renovated rooms. The latter ones not being up to par.

We had a wonderful stay at the Langham. The staff were unbelievably attentive and friendly and couldn't have done more to make our stay more enjoyable. Eating there wasn't cheap but nothing is in Hong Kong. We would stay there again.

Hotel easily merits a 5 star rating - everything was the highest quality. Service was above what was expected and the room was too

Excellent hotel. Very convenient for airport connections. Upscale neighborhood with expensive restaurants. If you are looking for luxury, this is it. If you are looking for value and access to the old Hong Kong attractions, this is not.

Great location. Wonderful Staff. Love the weekend brunch most of all. Excellent location. I will absolutely stay there again. However, I was a little surprised at the condition of the room. The room had been renovated I think back in 2009 and the material on the headboard of the bed was flaking off which made it look cheap and worn which is inconsistent with the rest of the hotel. Not even a complaint...more of an observation

Great service - from the front desk check in person to the concierges who were extremely helpful - everyone was great. Very glad we picked this hotel would definitely go back. My only suggestion would be to have more electrical outlets in the rooms. But we did have enough outlets to charge several devices at a time.

we left the room 2 pm and came back at 630 pm to relax but unfortunately we cant because the housekeeping was just starting to clean the room at that time

Is very convenience and staff is very good

I had worst experience in Langham Hongkong.The room smell is very bad.Even I could not sleep, when I complain this the hotel dropped few drops ginger oil, that's it.Also the hotel limousine service asked extra charge after departure 1,700HKD due to late. Shocked.They did not say anything when departture time, but during driving they asked charge extra money on my credit card. It is the worst service.It is five star hotl, but the service is worse than one start inn. I would like to advise pls do not stay , if you do not want to be in nightmare!!

Excellent concierge and front desk staff.Lovely room

We are regular Langham clients but it was out first stay in Hong Kong. The hotel smelt wonderful, we both said we felt like we were coming home. The shower was fantastic, the room comfortable and quiet. We had a smaller room than usual but were pleased with how spacious it was. We had no complaints. We ate in house and the food and service was excellent. I was impressed with the gym - one of the best hotel workout spaces I have ever used, light, airy and a reasonable amount of space. The pool area was also lovely. We spent several quiet hours there. We would recommend it to anyone who wants a break from the craziness and consumerism of downtown Kowloon.

This is by far my favorite hotel in Hong Kong. Total luxury and impeccable service! The best shops in Hong Kong are right there! The club room is amazing!

Fantastic hotel with superb service, elegant decor, lovely spacious rooms (relative to HK standards) with King beds and generous amenities including free WiFi in room. Service (from doormen to front desk) was exemplary - friendly, efficient, professional and very prompt. The staff anticipated our needs rather than wait for us to ask. Location was very convenient for MRT, shopping and food. For the price I paid it will be hard to find a match in HK or even in any other parts of the world. The booking process was easy and useful as hotel.com had good display of the necessary information regarding the hotel and the booking was fast.

Overall quite happy with stay except slight disappointment with room facilities. Description in Hotels.com doesn't match rooms offered by hotel.

We had a lovely stay. Great staff. Wonderful location, 5 min walk to MTR station and star ferry. Highly recommend hotel! Excellent breakfast.

Nothing to fault with this beautiful hotel which has the most beautiful floral aroma in the lobby. Staff go out of their way to help and are most professional. Location wise it is close to the harbour, Nathan road and the MTR. We did not tell them it was my daughters birthday but they left a beautiful cake in the room complete with candle and matches. She was genuinly touched. I would stay at this hotel again when in Hong Kong.

Found the hotel conveniently situated, condition of the room was poor (Shower Drain was blocked and telephone system did not work - service did repairs these after complaint). The shopping experience in the neighborhood is a nightmare - continually harassed by hawkers selling fake watchers and suits. Found the concierge staff very helpful and good service.

We had very good family holiday in Langham. It located near the staion, shopping centre and restaurents. i'm happy to be back there for our family holiday!

The Langham hotel is so stylish, friendly and welcoming. Looked after by all that I came into contact with. While waiting for my lunch to arrive, the waiter very kindly brought the paper over to me. To think that he actually considered the fact that I was on my own left me overwhelmed. The hotel is close to the Star Ferry and Nathan Street. If you wander the back streets off Nathan you will find another world....not all glitz and glamour. The Langham Club is also great as the dining room is small and civilised. A lovely breakfast, then one can have a wonderful afternoon tea, including a hot section before the sweets. The long black was delicious.

The Langham was in an ideal location. Close to all shopping , restaurants, transport. Quality and service was excellent.

My wife & I spent 3 wonderful nights in Langham Hotel. Our room, 942, did not face any great view but the interior was just superb. Room was very clean & spacious. So was the bathroom within. The big bed, pillows & the cool environment allowed us to have a good sleep every night which was very important for us as we walked a lot in the day. Every evening someone would place on each bedside table a small pink "Good Night" box of chocolate, and a card giving the weather forecast for the following day. This was a nice little gesture and we were really touched. The location of the hotel is very good. 2 mins' walk out of hotel you will face the swanky Harbour Citywhich is very big and has lots of upmarket shops displaying well known brands of bags, clothings, watches, shoes, etc, etc. Next to it is the China HongKong City, another shopping mall. The Ferry Terminal for folks going to Macau is housed within this building. Ferries run at 30 mins' interval and it takes an hour to reach Macau. Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station is within 5 mins' walk from the hotel. From this station, you can visit many places in Hong Kong island, in Kowloon and the airport. Places of interest, such as the Avenue of Stars, HK Space Museum, HK Cultural Centre, etc, are also within walking distance. In short, staying in Langham Hotel is certainly a very good choice - hotel staff are efficient, professional helpful and caring, wonderful room and services, and great location.

Staying at the Langham as a sole traveller I was made to feel very welcome and truly looked after. The staff assisted in train booking to China, taxis around town and always a warm welcome on ones return. The atmosphere was always one of happiness and the staff always seemed to pre empt my requirements.

Close to the cruise terminal...we were able to just walk the block to the hotel after the cruise. Rooms were excellent. Most important, the staff was top notch...EVERYONE was extremely helpful, professional, and friendly.

Love this hotel. The location especially for shopping is more than ideal. Near everything. Easy walk to Star Ferry terminal to go to Central side. Hotel great size especially as not too huge to get more than adequate attention from great staff and help from concierge. Easy to get cabs and limo service provided to and from airport. I have opted more than once to stay here and plan to use this hotel over and over when in Hong Kong. It is a total winner.

The services are excellent.

We only stayed here a couple of nights but the service was excellent & the rooms perfectly good. Great diner in the basement which was unpretentious and a contrast to the elegant afternoon tea available in the lounge! We found the location was very good.

I spent very comfortable time during the stay. Staffs were very kind. Rooms were clean.

Great hotel to stay and fantastic service! They made our stay very memorable. The hotel is also located centrally with convenient access to MTR. Especially for Indian vegetarians as there are couple of good pure veg restaurants within walking distance from the hotel.

This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in. On check-in it was noticed that my birthday would be held during our stay at The Langham and then on the day I was surprised with a birthday cake and card in the room!! Room was upgraded. Everyone was so friendly and helpful - the little extra details (bottles of water, huge soft towels, toiletries, chocolates, slippers, etc.) made the stay memorable and we would definitely stay here again. Brilliant location.
