The hotel location (EZ access to I69 / I94 and downtown Port Huron) was great. Further, who can complain about a free breakfast (waffles, eggs, toast, etc)! However, the bed was a bit mushy and the blower fan from the heater / air-conditioning unit made it difficult to get a good nights rest.

We were not able to check in at the stated time, it was actually 2 hours late. We were not able to get the room we asked for or would have needed to wait longer. Hotel was clean and nice for the money. Our daughter did leave a valuable item in the room and we were able to call later and get it back. Overall, the stay was fine, truly appreciate the honesty of the staff.

The rooms were quiet and very clean! Staff was very friendly too! Would stay there again!

Excellent experience!

the address is a bit misleading, as there is no entry from the street it is listed on (hancock) and we ended up back on the expressway. that was frustrating! once we found the entry though, the hotel was very nice. comfy, well maintained rooms with nice heavy linens.

Stayed here for work - everything was fine - nothing about the hotel was great. I ended up staying 2 nights - so stayed in 2 rooms (last minute change). Both rooms were clean and had newer bathrooms. Everything was fine but there certainly wasn't any luxury. For the price it was more than acceptable. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was nice but again no luxury.

Hotel was dated, but clean. It was a good place for us to stay and the price was reasonable.

Our over all experience was good,if i had to report any negatives they would be. The hot tub was barely warm and the pool was cold,and the continental breakfast wasn't that great,coffee sucked and variety was not there.

We just needed a place for the night. There was lots of construction going on and the GPS was confused. I called the hotel and the front desk person stayed on the line the entire time to get us right to the hotel. He then gave us a great recommendation for dinner just down the street. Over all, the stop was everything we had hoped it to be including a clean breakfast dining area and ample breakfast. I would stay there again.

The Hotel was beautiful, clean and the employees were very pleasant. I would stay again in the future.

This was the third time we've stayed at this hotel. It's the only time we haven't been completely satisfied. The beds in our room were very old and uncomfortable. Other than that, everything was good.

Even though there was a pool and kid's area not far from our room location, we didn't hear a thing. The breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable, and it was very quiet.

Didn't find the bed comfortable at all, very soft but the king size made it more comfortable. One thing that did bother me was the amount of waste created by breakfast. I don't understand why reusable plates, cutlery, classes and cups weren't used, I saw 3 full garbage cans of avoidable waste. From a cost and green perspective it is the right thing to do. It must be workable as the Marriott Residence Inn is successful with it (a hotel we frequent regularly for work)

It was ok ,the only problem they had 4 small pillows on a king sized bedwhen asked for more they said the hotel was fully booked and everyone was asking for pillows and they had no more

Liked the pool, hot tub, free breakfast. The free wifi seemed to be a little slow though.

This is our third stay at this chain of hotel. all three left us unhappy. The room smelled, again of mildew. a simple washing of the shower curtain would help! Breakfast was okay.

We would definitely stay here again. The cleaning product used was a little heavily scented - overpowering as you enter the room. And construction nearby started at 7 a.m., so no alarm needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

a/c needed to be cleaned smelled like wet dog

The hotel was clean and new. It wasn't fancy, but it had a nice cool pool and great Habitrail jungle gym for kids. I really missed having a mini-fridge and closet doors, but it was pretty good. Our sheets didn't get changed in the 4 nights we were there, which was too bad since we spent time at the beach and tended to bring sand home with us. The sink area was large and the king bed was more comfortable than many hotel beds -- not hard as a rock. Over-all it was good for the price and pretty quiet even on July 4th and Cruise night weekend.

We were passing through and needed a place to stay, the reviews seemed ok. I'm not familiar with the area so maybe this really is one of the better hotel choices but we weren't too impressed. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was ok, but the bed was all springs, the room was musty and smelled of stale smoke, and the shower was made for someone 4' tall. We didn't have time to use the pool or jacuzzi but it seemed busy and looked nice.

we really enjoy our stay here everytime Lee was a great desk person....beds are great ! we moved the coffee pot to the sink area it was on bed side table the girls that hepled in breakfast area were all very pleasant and the breakfast was GREAT .ham eggs .oatmeal yogurt fresh fruit milk great coffee ...thanks so much !!!!

Playground was great for kids, pool was comfortable temp, although the air was hot and breakfast was great. Contruction made things a little interesting but we made it. Area is nice around the hotel. We explored a little because we are looking at moving here.

Everything was A-1, except for the fact that when we checked into the room, it was freezing cold. It would have been more comfortable if the air conditioner wasn't so cold. Everything else was fine.

It was a good place to stay very nice people and good food. Bummer the pool doesn't stay open later then 11pm and the hot tin was closed but other then that I'd go back.

The room was comfortable. Banging on the door to see if I require service was unnecessary. I asked for service and the carpet papers that were there when I arrived were still there after the service? Breakfast was great and the staff very friendly. Front desk was most helpful. Good place to stay and I would return. Great shopping at mall and th eother 5-6 big stores. make sure you visit Kohl's but leave your money at home. Everything is so cheap you would think it was free.

enjoyed ourselves immensly! Staff was very helpful & friendly. Pool/hot tub was a real treat. Will be back for a longer stay soon! Close to lots of scenic attractions. Be sure to take the trolly

It served the purpose and the price was right. Good value for the money considering free wireless and a hot breakfast were included.

Overall very nice atmosphere, service and pool/hot tub. The added childrens play structure was noce, would consider bringing my family of 6 kids to stay here if I ever come back to the area on personal reasons. However found fecal matter on toilet seat. Night attendant moved me to different room on same floor...free upgrade to jacuzi suite made up for it but I have a very tough stomach...:)

The hotel is too close to the Bluewater bridge. You can hear trucks gearing up and down all night. A/C unit very noisy. Walls paper thin. You can hear people talking in the hallway. Worst hotel sleep ever.

Great room, and hotel.
