Econo Lodge Inn & Suites - הילסבורו

A good stay for the money. I thought, though, that they had advertised a free breakfast. What was offered was toast, juice, and coffee.

Upon arrival, we got a free upgrade to a king bed, because all the non-smoking queens were booked. So that was great! The hotel was comfy, clean, and convenient to where we needed to be at a great price.

The staff was very friendly. The room had everything I needed, including free WiFi, small fridge, microwave, desk, TV, storage space, and a comfortable bed. The room was clean, although appeared old, but in good repair. Continental breakfast was sparse, but fine for me. The location is quiet, but was a little further from my son's place than I would have wished for, but worth the little extra drive, for the money I saved. I think this hotel is a great value, and would stay here again.

Basic but very nice. When I got lost finding the place, the staff was very understanding and helpful.

The hotel staff were extremely professional and helpful. However, upon check-in, there was a woman who walked in off of the street and appeared homeless and a bit deranged. As this was my first time in Hillsboro, OR, the woman from the street made me question the safety of the neighborhood in which I had chosen to stay. I just hoped that the housekeeping staff clean the rooms thoroughly. I believe they do. Neighborhood concerns aside, this was a satisfactory hotel for a low price that gets the job done and provided a place for me to sleep.

Excellent for the price. Very Clean and Quiet. Close to shopping and restaurants yet off the beaten path and a nice, small-town feel. The staff was so friendly and helpful.

our stay was very comfortable..i was impressed of their housekeeping cause they really change everything everyday..although free breakfast wasnt really that good, but it was ok..i liked the location cause everything we needed was accessible..i would still want to stay their the next time we go back to oregon cause their rate was just right..

Motel did not have a non-smoking room avaailable; they stated that I checked that I was a smoker even though I have never smoked in 60 years. When they offered one they said I would have to move rooms the next day even though I did not expect to be back to the romm to about 6 pm.

The front desk was helpful, it is right on 10th street, and within walking distance of the MAX. Perfect place if you need a cheap spot to sleep and shower.

Stayed 1 night for interview at Pacific University. Very close to the school and various food places. Heater worked well and bed was nice and comfy. Not terribly over priced, very happy with my stay.

Hotel rate was very reasonable. I would stay there again and would recm to others. Hotel accommodation was quite adequate.

it was cheap. room was a bit noisy from some ticking sound that i think the fridge made. the continental breakfast had a bug in my juice. a huge spider was also in my room the last night. other than that, i guess i got what i paid for.

I felt that the area was a bit shady and the noise from other rooms was loud and went on all night

I chose this hotel because it was the least expensive that I found online. I found it clean and comfortable and appreciated the mini fridge and microwave in the room. There was no coffee pot in the room. You have to go across the parking lot to the small lobby for your morning coffee. The continental breakfast consisted of bagels with a toaster and packets of cream cheese, jam, and butter; prepackaged muffins, a dispenser with apple juice and orange juice; coffee, and hot water for tea. There is a McDonald's right next door, as well as an Indian restaurant and a Carl's Jr across the street. I was satisfied.

Our family stayed overnight on our way to Oregon. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean and modern the room was. The beds were comfortable. The diner attached to the hotel lobby was a WINNER! For a local family from Hawai'i, we were happy at the diverse menu offered which included such favorites as "Loco Moco" and Fried Eggs with Spam...Yay!!! And the best thing is that it is open 24 hours a day! The restaurant staff were friendly and service was fast! We checked in rather late in the evening but the front office staff was very friendly and accomodating when we had special requests during check-in. A great location, easy to find, nice for an overnight stay even when traveling with a family! This was the best accomodations we had during our entire 10 day vacation!

This hotel offered everything we needed for a three night stay all for a very affordable rate. The location was perfect for our visit to family in Hillsboro, OR. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

This hotel was conveniently located around places to eat and get supplies. Very quiet and the staff was very helpful.

The Econo-Lodge is a budget option that was comfortable, clean, friendly and convenient. It was quiet and the AC worked great. The bed was pretty hard, but we would stay here again if we needed to be in the area.

Overall, enjoyed our stay! Convenient location and nicely kept. Walls were a little thin and heard activities upstairs, as people were having a party celebrating an event going on in the nearby area. Was able to sleep though with little problem. Would stay here again if the need arose. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Not intended to be a plush hotel, simple but very pleased with this lodging accomodation.

Located in a good spot off of major highways, but the parking lot is very cramped.

We stayed in the Econolodge just one night, but the room was clean, the price was right, it had a working air-conditioner and TV, and even a microwave and fridge. The shower head was new and worked well (operation of the shower is something I use to rate motels - it is one of the first things that many fall down on). The bed was a bit more firm than I prefer it, and the continental breakfast wasn't much, but other than that, the room was great.

We were in town for a softball tournament. We found the rooms to be clean and satifactory... We had a leak in our room the management tried to do their best, there where no other rooms available... because it was a wet and rainy weekend and your softball uniforms were a little messy, the hotel washed and dryed our dirty clothes... could ask for more then that...

I picked this motel last minute. It was fairly close to where I needed to be on the weekend. Initially getting there I was slightly put off by it's location. But then realized that I was actually closer to amenities that worked out in my favor. Room wasn't bad at all. Everything was neat and tidy. Parking area and motel are fenced in (one way in/out). McDs next door along with Carls Jr/green burrito across the street, and a BR next door as well. Washer and dryer were on premises (1.00 for box of soap from front desk, 1.00 for washer, 1.25 for dryer). Staff was very pleasant, accommodating, and helpful. Was extremely simple check in and out. Room was clean with a fridge and microwave. Breakfast in the AM was continental, fresh bagels with cream cheese (bagels were very fresh and soft, not like some places that put out week old puck hard ones) toaster in lobby, apple an OJ, coffee, and Otis Spunkmeyer muffins. Overall I was very pleased with the econo-lodge. This is definitely a "don't judge a book by it's cover" motel. It is totally economical, actually you're getting more for your money here.

We had some special time / schedule requirements. The staff was friendly and worked with us. The hotel was clean and well maintained.

It look like the Econo Lodge had just been redone with new bath. The shower was great with lot of pressure and the service was excellent. It was close to my friends house in Hillsboro. We were there for his funeral service. The hotel was quite.

Have not had a bad experience yet in my 5 separate times staying here. A decent place to stay on a budget. The desk staff: always pleasant. The maid service: detailed and thorough. One nice discovery...the Maharaja restaurant (literally footsteps away from the hotel) has EXCELLENT Indian food. I highly recommend the Chicken Curry. But if you're looking for faster (and more familiar) food. McDonalds is also right next door!

Motel is not in very good neighborhood. Got to room Monday night got unpacked and discovered bathroom floor was flooded. Had to pack up and move next door

I was surprised at how clean the place was. They really do a nice job in maintaining the place given it's age. Fast food within the immediate vicinity was quite convenient. The only thing I wished they offered was a hairdryer in the room.

Hillsboro is very nice, just not the section Econo Lodge is located. No iron or board in the room. After waiting I finally got to borrow an iron without a board. Was told to iron clothes on the floor with a towel and make sure I didn't knock the iron over because it would burn the carpet. I was told Econo Lodge does not require a iron and iron board in each room and so in August of 2010 I was ironing clothes on the floor, unreal. I will never spend another night at a place like this. I don't have huge expectations, but this place was cheap and I learned my lesson about going with cheap. This is the type of place when you arrive, you instantly know why it was cheaper then the others. These franchise places with the known name but bad service are all to common. Many nice places right up the road that are just a little more money. This place should be 1 star.

This place is fine for a basic stay. Clean and comfortable.

We visited from the Netherlands and found the Econo lodge in Hillsboro a handy and economic location for visits to Portland and for day trips such as to the Columbia River Gorge. Furthermore, drive about 15 minutes and you are in beautiful hills with vineyards, orchards, and splendid views of Mt. Hood in the far distance. The lodge has a typical suburban location across from an aquatic center with indoor and outdoor pool and between all kinds of stores and McDonalds. Service is outstanding and the breakfast is handy. Internet (wifi) works well. We are very satisfied and decided to return the night before our flight back to Europe.

I don't use hotels often and was disappointed with this one. At 1am I asked if it was on the first floor and the receptionist said 'yes' but after we drove to the correct building discovered it was on the second. (No biggie, but annoying to be misled at 1am). Additionally, the safety latch on the door was just set in the screw holes, which we didn't notice til morning when it literally dropped on the floor. It was also listed as Beaverton-Hillsboro, but it is WAY out there. I have a hard time believing it is in either of those cities. It was clean and bed was comfortable and had amenities I hadn't expected (mini-fridge etc) and I might even use it again, but I'll do a safety check of sorts before settling in.

I booked a room at the EconoLodge for it's low nightly rate and proximity to my event location. I expected I would get what I paid for, but was pleased to find it was much better than expected. The room was clean with a microwave and refigerator, and there was a separate area with a couch and table that I used to set up my "office" area. I did not use the limited continental breakfast that was provided, but that wasn't much of an issue considering the numerous chain fast-food restaurants within a short walking distance. Overall, I was impressed with the service and overall comfort of the room and will definitely consider staying here again in the future.
