Red Roof Inn Phoenix West - פיניקס

Close to I-10 on the west end of town, which shaves a lot of time off my trips. HBO and a room safe big enough to store a full-size laptop almost make up for the lack of a fridge or coffee maker. The staff is friendly and courteous, and the beds are comfy.

It was okay

Room was clean but missing soap in bathroom and trash wasn't emptied.

Blackout shades would be great as the rooms let in quite a bit of light...both hotel generated as well as natural (morning) light. Faucets in 405 were dripping--sink and shower.

dripping faucets; needs room darkening shades, otherwise a good deal at a good hotel.

It was very close to our event, the staff was very friendly, the whole place smelled nice but our floor especially smelled like oranges. I LOVED IT! The room was clean and looked nice. The only suggestion I would make would be..."hot tub". A hot tub would have made my stay complete. Thank you red roof inn for making my stay in phoenix enjoyable!

Needed somewhere to stay that was cheap and clean before an early flight out of pheonix. It was both, and modern which was a bonus. when I asked reception for extra pillows, they were delivered to my room within five minutes. Good place to stay for a night.

They only thing i have to say is the location, their are too many transients either walking or standing around the area late at night

very clean & located close to frwy without getting delayed. able to check in prior to 3pm, so that i could leave my bags & continue with my errands, which i made to trip for.

I enjoyed staying at Red Roof Inn and would do so again. My original room assignment had a non-working sink, but the desk quickly assigned me another room that was 100%. Everything was clean & comfortable, suitably quiet & safe. The staff was also very friendly.

Its a place to lay your head with cable TV while saving some money. Very kind staff. The beds could be a little softer...

Over all it was a good stay. Front desk was berry helpful the room were nice and clean.

Found hotel online,booked it and was ready when I arrived 15 min later. For the price I paid(52$)2 full size beds, I have no complaints. Little out dated but otherwise a nice hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful and would stay at a Red Roof anytime!

found 3 hairs on my pillow before I even turned the sheets down. ended up sleeping in my clothes because of the random stains and hair in the bed.

Rooms were clean, ample towels. Daily housekeeping service. Hotel staff pleasant and helpful. Lobby area clean and well kept. 24 hour coffee/tea aervice, but no breakfast, but plenty of fast food within walking distance, 2 Waffle Houses nearby. Shopping within 15 minutes. Surrounding neighbor okay. Security on premise and visible. Definitely would stay again.

We drove over to phoenix for dodger games and stayed 2nights at the red roof. And we actually had a great experience. The desk girl that helped us was nice and got us accomodated quickly. Beds were comfortable. Surround area was calm and quiet. Lots of restaurants nearby and not to far from downtown. Only thing I didn't like was the freeway noise of semis driving by.but overall I liked the stay

Very good basic hotel. For the price, I recommend this hotel. About 5 mi outside of downtown PHX, so there is parking. Staff is very helpful. The rooms were semi-spacious. No Smoking hotel is a PLUS!

The hotel was in a great location for our stay because of the event we were attending. It's right off the freeway so it's easy to get places and there's a gas station and good near by so it's great. However the hotel had a smell to it on the 2nd floor were we stayed. They never cleaned our room once and we were there from Fri-Mon. However, the front counter workers are super nice. The outside looks nice it's the inside that needs work. Rooms are okay. Beds are comfy. They need to just work on the smell.

it looked strange the fact that there was only one luggage cart for my seven pieces of luggage. having to haul all of the bags with two children it was a little bit of a challenge. when i asked the attendant she was polite but she just said it is somewhere over there. PLEASE IS THERE ANY WAY TO HAVE A COUPLE OF LUGGAGE CARTS AVAILABLE FOR THE PAYING CUSTOMERS.

The hotel met our needs...just a place to stay for a night after a spring training game. Neighborhood seemed a little sketchy, but the hotel was fine. WIFI was good. No fridge or breakfast.

It's located in what appears to be a moderately bad neighborhood, but is close to lots of restaurants and shopping and is really very aesthetically pleasing inside and out. The best feature was the huge and comfortable corner desk, and I was also happy to have a mid-size fridge and microwave. The bed was about a 4.5 on the 1-10 scale, and the linens were a 4ish. The issues for me were the little things - specifically:(1) Internet Service was horrible. Despite having a full 5-bar signal on the wifi, I was downloading at about 5k/sec. For those of you unfamiliar with internet speeds, this means that (when it completed at all, which was rare) web pages took roughly 30sec-1min to load. And Netflix? Dream on. (2) No breakfast, no food vending machines, no snacks in the room; (3) No conditioner, shower cap, etc. and the shampoo was in a plastic baggie (4) Towels were too small and there were only 2 of them. Overall it's a very nicely built hotel but for its price class (the range of Holiday Inn/Best Western) it simply lacks on the little things.

The front desk service at the hotel was great, very helpful. The room itself was decent. Bed was comfortable and I couldn't hear any outside noises. Just a note: there's no hair dryer in the room but one can be checked out from the front desk. Also, they only give you a packet of shampoo and no conditioner.

I'm definitely not a very picky traveler, but I recognize when opportunities have gone without action... this place needs a lot of work. From the nighttime security guy who left me very uncomfortable to the pillows that seemed to be made of styrofoam to the bath towels that felt like brillo-pads, my stay was memorable for all the wrong reasons. Also, the housekeeping staff was very inconsistent. A couple days went with very little restocking, while the others were just fine. Definitely won't be my first pick... or 5th.

The hotel is in good location for spring training. Other then that is an old facility with flat screen tv in the rooms. No irons/boards or hair dryer in the room but available at front desk. Double beds are small and not very comfortable. Toiletries are not that good. The hotel served its purpose for the night but I would not stay there again.

Not the cleanest rooms, the area is not so good. The wifi was not the best.

The room had no bath towels and when I called to get some brought up I was told I needed to go down there myself and with a little one already in the shower that was not going to happen. No hair dryer in the room that needed to be gotten at the front desk as well.

For the price, YES!...and if you are going to see spring training with the Boyz.,it will do....Don't forget to leave a couple of bucks for the maid every day and throw your beer cans in the trashcan... No Passport Required!

The amenities were adequate and the staff was accommodating. It would have been great if breakfast or a fridge/micro was available.

Overall just about acceptable, but nothing further than that. Noise from neighbours and from the I10 (right outside the window) was annoying. Hotel lacked any character, but furnishings were reasonably comfortable. Overall, I wouldnt necessarily recommend, but depends upon the price.

I found it hard to believe; 2 queen beds had no refridgerator or microwave - no clothes irons in rooms - I have been in many hotels in many cities - This was my first time without those items

Close to many of the ballparks for spring training. Minutes from downtown. Great service. Claim Jumpers 8 mins away. Central location. Longest drive was 25 mins. Very satisfied!
