The room smelled like urine. We moved the couch over and there was a lot of trash behind it. The bed sheets were stained. I guess we got what we paid for, but we will never spend the night there again. The cost was 60 for a king; maybe we should have forked over the extra 40 dollars and stayed somewhere nicer. Overall - it was a room - definitely not a nice room, though.

The hotel is obviously in need of renovating, and they are supposedly in the process, but small things would have made it better. The blankets had holes in them, the TV in our room was an old tube model, circa 1990 or something, and the shower head would only use the massage setting, which is near impossible to take a regular shower with. Those little things would have made a difference, and doesn't need to be done during some huge renovation. The pool was not filled and under maintenance, the walkways were needing to be fixed, they were cracked and broken in most places, the candy machine was empty and broken also. On the plus side, the staff was friendly, it's in a good location, near good restaurants, and the rooms are larger than most hotels have. Just a few little things would have made it better during their supposed renovation.

It seemed that checking in was an imposition to both of the people at the desk. No smile, and no welcome, no interest,even tho there was no one else in the lobby. The no smoking room smelled of smoke and the room was very spacious, but the carpet was badly stained that looked like it could be removed with a little effort. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast had many choices. The price was very reasonable and I would rate this hotel a 2.

It was a good stay for the price. It was clean. Towels weren't to thick!

We really enjoyed our stay..The staff was very nice The rooms was very clean. we will be staying there again!

This place was a dump. I got a non-smoking room that smelled like it had been smoked in for years. The carpet was nasty and they hadn't bothered to give me any soap. The heating unit sounded like it was barely functioning. About the only positive comment I have is that the bed was clean. It was cheap, but wasn't even worth what I paid.

We really enjoyed our stay! Great Price! Great People!

stay was very nice , comfortible room

We were pleasantly surprised at having a microwave and fridge in the room, plus a love seat and table and desk. Only problem was that the drapes didn't completely cover the window, just the shears did. If I had had a clothespin , I could have pinned them shut to keep out the light from the road.

The only bad thing I can say about the stay is that if you want breakfast, go early. We slept a little late, got there about 9:15 and there was nothing left. Good thing McDonald's is close. :) It's a great room for the price and convenient to the freeway. I would stay there again.

Worst hotel in the area. hard to find small sign. room was dingy. was told no pet fee by hotel.com was charged by hotel. would not use again

The motel was fine, clean, safe - a good value for the money. The motel was fairly aged, but otherwise just fine. My only beef was that there was quite a bit of road noise outside my room. I'm a pretty heavy sleeper, so it didn't keep me up at night, but if you are a light sleeper, you might want to be wary. My room was on the road side of the motel, so the rooms on the other side might be better.

Hotel recently changed names and ownership - old signs still up. Rooms dirty and in desperate need or repainting. Breakfast - don't depend on what they have

First room was smoke filled----could not get past the entry door before the smoke smell hit me. The room We stayed in was not too clean-----had a gap in front door----di not seal properly.

Very worth the $70 for my kids and my overnight stay. Didn't have much need for amenities so I have no opinion as to them.

Hotel staff was not friendly, non smoking room was saturated with smoke smell. Sheets had burn holes in them. Room was dirty and dusty!

The room keys did not work, only one set of towels in room(there were two of us), comforter had big holes on both sides. Other than that the price was right.

Stayed for 6 nights every day the staff cleaned our room less and less. It was always vacuumed and the beds made, but by the end of the stay they weren't even taking the garages that were at least half full out. The upper walkway needs redone, it has cracks throughout the cement. Kind of scary. The breakfast there sucked, it was the same every day and not even warm you had to warm it up yourself.

Check-in & check-out were quick and easy. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. Large desk to get work done, nice size TV, bed was very comfortable. More than enough space, bathroom looked well-maintained. Breakfast was mediocre at best, but overall I really can't complain for the price. Great value and close to I-12 which takes you right into Baton Rouge.

Horrible !!! i wont go back to stay that kind of "hotel" need to closed for remodel bettter condition of room and fire the kitchen people to make freshness of breakfast........

Very nice hotel except I had two different rooms within my stay and in both bathrooms the tub mat was mildewed very bad

The room was a good size, the mattresses comfortable, the towels nice and fluffy and plentiful. We enjoyed the free wi-fi. The things wrong with the room were that (1) although it was a nonsmoking room, there was a lingering odor as if it had been smoked in some time in the past (probably impossible to remedy without replacing the carpet), (2) the height adjustment on the desk chair was broken, leaving it too low for most people to sit comfortably at the desk, and (3) the upholstery on the couch was worn and dirty. The breakfast was very good, although the coffee was on the weak side. On the whole it was good value for the quality of the accommodations and the close-to-town location.

Breakfast was nice, bedroom itself was ok for the price range. I'd like to have towels of decent size and it seems like each time I choose a smaller hotel we get the wal-mart knockoffs hanging in the shower. Overall I'd recommend the hotel if it was priced better.

Room was ready right away. Had no problems with cleanleaniess or things not working. Only thing was housekeeping kept coming back to room even with do not disturb sign out. Wanted to sleep in. Happy they wanted make sure everything was ok. Then on check out day they called us and came to the room to make sure we were leaving. Told them several times we were leaving at noon. Felt like I was being rushed out.

Comfortable, very clean. Breakfast left some to be desired. Hot breakfast was one reason I chose this hotel. Had to go elsewhere to eat.

Hotels.com told me that they had interior doors - they are exterior doors. Toilet didn't flush - had to take off top to make it flush-missing a cap to give it pressure. Hotel was ok - staff was below average. Breakfast was limited - didn't have any oatmeal. Wouldn't stay there again nor recommend it. It was a cheap hotel - you get what you pay for.

We stayed one night at this hotel on our way east. The hotel has some age to it, which was not a surpise, but for the money the room met our needs. The hot breakfast was good, better than a continental, other than the bisquits being a little hard it was sufficient. The room was big and the beds were good. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. If we need to stay in that area again we would not hesitate to stay here. If you want a nicer place to stay....spend the extra $25 or so....but why for just one night?

Hotel was great for the price. House cleaning was excellent as I have 4 teenage daughters who use lots of towels.We stayed 3 nites and they kept us in clean towels. Only problem was no Ice in the ONLY ice machine. The counter person could not/ would not help ( I stayed at Quality Inn in Ocean Sprgs MS the 4th day, they gave me ice from the kitchen) Great stay and yes I would stay agin. (I will buy ice before I get to the room.)

We found the hotel clean and comfortable, the service, breakfast and room was nice, but the beds were not as comfortable as I was hoping.

Everything was good except the bed was so hard. Everything else was satisfactory for what we needed.

I have stayed in nicer rooms for about 40% less per night. It was smelly and the staff was not very helpful.
