Overall great place to stay. Plan on coming back.

Nice clean hotel with a good location. Shuttle to the Tropicana and Mandalay Bay. Bed was comfortable. Standard breakfast and staff was good. I would stay here again.

Hotel is good and clean. Breakfast has enough variety. It's in a convenient location too. But there is catch to free drop off to the strip. They just drop across to the Tropicana hotel and casino which is on the same street. It does not take you anywhere. And these drop offs are only at the break of the hour and not on need basis.

Two negatives on this stay. They DO NOT have enough handicapped parking! Seemed to be a problem in a lot of places in Las Vegas. Second, there were a lot of kids staying in the hotel this night so in the morning we couldn't get anywhere near the breakfast!! Otherwise this is a comfortable, nicely located hotel we like to stay at when passing through Las Vegas.

I was in Las Vegas for my son's basketball tournament. Unfortunately there were numerous events that weekend in Las Vegas. The hotel had a large volume of kids, basketball players and cheerleaders staying there. The hallways were always crowded with kids.The breakfast was great. All my favorite items were there. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice to have a bar downstairs. I would definately stay therer again.

Nice clean hotel, plesant staff, godd breakfast, great location

loved it, there for a cheer competition. our stay was nice, quiet, relaxing, included breakfast. My daughter enjoyed laying out at the pool. Over all great experience.

Hampton Inn Tropicana is a great value! Its close to the strip but far away enough to get some sleep (if thats what you want). The lobby is under construction but I didnt feel that was an issue during my stay. There was no major construction noise. The free breakfast and shuttle to the Tropicana are well worth the price of the room. The hotel room was clean and not dingy. The staff friendly enough. No major complaints and would definitely stay again!

I'm used to budget hotel chains and I have nothing really to complain about. The staff were *excellent* (at every level). Room was comfortable, well maintained and very clean. My only complaint was that during our stay, the bar was closed for a re-fit so I had to buy alcohol from the gas station next door. Breakfast wasn't going to win awards, but you can comfortably eat a variety of [palatable] items and sit in comfort while others watch TV News spouting angry vitriolic nonsense and adverts for injury lawyers. I do wonder why hotels leave the TV on at breakfast. Wouldn't it be better to have the radio on and promote people talking to each other? Please hotel chains, remove the TV from the breakfast areas. It's located so close to an area famed for 'ladies of the night', however, I didn't see any on my way back and as a massive bonus it's two minutes' walk from an In And Out (America's best hamburger chain). Breakfast there is a treat (if you can't face another plate of turkey sausage) and go Animal Style for a huge protein overload. Vegas has 150,000 rooms available, but to be frank, this hotel is not a bad place to stay and the staff really made my stay enjoyable. If you read this guys, thanks everyone! ....Oh, I'd certainly stay again if my budget was constrained. Hope that helps your NPS score :)

The accommodations were very good and staff were very helpful. Breakfast was great and there was a good selection for all. The shuttle service was very helpful and for the most part very timely. Would certainly recommend.

Clean & comfy. Good $ value

Our stay was great as always. We love staying at the Hampton Inn. In fact that is the only place we will stay. We know it will always be clean and we love not having to try and find a place to have breakfast. The only thing that we weren't happy with is the front desk couldn't find our reservation. After lots of searching they found it. It was listed as my first name as my last name and my last name as my first. Other than that it was great.

Las Vegas hammers you with sights, sounds and bustle, so it was like having a private oasis in the desert. Close enough for short taxi rides to casinos, always found parking day and night, coffee always brewing, staff helpful, rooms quiet and comfy...couldn't ask for more. I'll be back!

Hampton Inn's are wonderful! Wish I knew where you purchase your mattresses...they are soooooooooooooo comfortable!

Typical Hampton Inn - Spacious, Clean, very comfortable. About 3 blocks from Las Vegas Strip - food & stores next to Inn.

If you are without a car, you can take the shuttle to the strip for meals at the big casinos, or you can settle for a short walk to nearby fastfood joints if that's your thing. Also, the bar service is pretty miserable. The bartender is surly, and she doesn't open until 5pm. That is awfully late by Vegas standards. It's nice to be able to grab a beer after an all-day meeting, but being told that the bar won't be open for 15 minutes sorta took the wind out of my sails. Oh, and there's no beer list and the bartender is not helpful in naming the limited selection she does carry. How hard would it be to put out the bottles you carry so people can look at them and choose. And get some more variety please.

Breakfast was so crowded that there was a line down the hall. Hotel staff were busy trying to restock items, but had trouble keeping up.

Plumbing drainage in bathroom was very very slow. Hair dryer did not work. Shower head did not work. Room would fail a white glove inspection from the health department. No control of the room temp at night, too hot!

The cleanliness of the motel was very nice, the laundry room was open 24 hrs which was very convenient, had a fitness room and a pool, the breakfast that was offered in the morning was very good

If you're not looking to be on the strip, this is a good choice for a hotel. There is a shuttle to and from McCarran. They treated me well on my business stay, and the room was very comfortable and quiet.

we had a fine time.

We went on family trip to see a concert. Most family stayed at MGM paying much higher. The Hampton was literally over the freeway just off the same street - Tropicana. It was perfect. I liked that we did not have to stroll through a casino in order to get to our room. Also, the included breakfast was very good. They provided protein (eggs and sausage) both mornings as well as cereals and cut fruit. Would come here again.

Clean and really liked the location. Quick check in.

This hotel is pretty nice. The room was clean and the location is good if you want to be close to the strip but can't get a room on the strip. Its getting old and starting to show signs of age. A face lift would make it really nice again.

Nice hotel, but the pool was closed for some sort of maintenance. When you are visiting Las Vegas and it is 100 degrees outside, the pool is a huge deal, especially with kids in tow. I frequently stay within the Hilton/Hampton properties, and would have liked to know about this before booking. My company also uses the Marriott chain a lot. I may have to consider switching myself.

Wish I could have stayed longer. This was a business trip. We had to return the rental car and pick up our car at the mechanics. The hotel was with in a few miles of each place. I wish we had queen sized beds. But the double beds were comfortable. The breakfast was great as always. Would book it again if ever going to Vegas.

We enjoyed the complementary breakfasts, the staff was very helpful and attentive, great parking, and the room service was ok.
