The room was ok but the bathroom / tub was nasty.

This place looked like a cheap motel on the inside. The staff were all dressed in street clothes and many had on beach sandals. The room was a smoking room that I requested but it also smelled worse than that like damp water or mildew. The carpet was nasty, nasty, nasty and the room was greatly outdated. And for a little more I could have stayed in a better hotel. I will not be going back. I was really disgusted.

Stay here only if an emergency. Nobody ever at the front check desk and the place was smelly and didn't look very clean and who still has the old tube tvs? This hotel needs some serious updates

The location was perfect for our purpose of being in Lewisville. The outside of the Inn looked great. However, when we checked in and found our room the hall smelled of stale cigarette smoke. We requested a non smoking room with a king bed which we did have. Our room was not cleaned one day and we had to go to the front desk to request towels. I was also disappointed that there was not hair dryer in the bathroom. The coffee of their continental breakfast was cold everyday. The price was extremely reasonable since we only stayed in the room to sleep but I would only give it two stars.

Hotel stay was a nice experience. The customer service person was very friendly and accommodating. Hotel was located near the places we wanted and was a very good value for the stay. Will probably stay there again in the future.

Good if you are looking for a cheap place to sleep. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly. Overall hotel is old and kind of run down...drains are slow, water pressure is low, etc. It was advertised with breakfast (JOKE...it's good if you like little kid powered sugar donuts and mushy fruit) and a pool (covered like it was winterized). Exercise room had a couple of treadmills, but nothing elaborate.

The pool was closed, covered with a dead animal on it. The hotel had a bad musty smell.

The overall stay was below average, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpfull. The hotel itself was in need of updating, and remodel. The rooms were kinda small, but showers had good pressure and AC was cold. The pool was closed for an unknown reason and the hotel has people living full time in it. The hotel was ok for price, but there is other hotels within the price range close by that I will definitely try next time we travel to Lewisville. Probably will not stay at this hotel again.....

It was horrible, that was the worst hotel I've every stayed in ever. It needs to be shut down.

Dirty. Moldy. ? Breakfast. Cereal n packaged Tony buns. Cotton apples n bananas . Rating was same as Radison . That's a joke.

my first room was trashed. It wasnt clean at all. My second room smelled like urine, had no Iron (clerk gave me one after i asked for it.) and i had no freaking phone. I asked the clerk to replace it but they didnt. so in case of emergency i couldnt even dial 911.

Never again

Never stay at this hotel....unless you like cockroaches

The clerk was very efficient and helpful. Bed are comfy. The only bad thing which wasn't a big deal was the quality of the tv but it played just fine with no picture problems or anything like that.

Check-in was quick and easy...staff was very friendly, room was clean...all that was left at the continental breakfast at 9ish was one apple and a little cereal...but that was okay because IHOP is right next door. :) If you don't require a lot of amenities, this hotel will do.

Hotel is nasty and falling apart!! Everything is old and showing it!! Bed was uncomfortable and rooms smelled musky! Customer service is unfriendly and unwelcoming to their customers!! This place is only a VERY last minute option if all else fails!!

If you need an affordable place to stay overnight, clean, neat, with all the basics you need to feel comfortable, this is a hotel to consider. It even had cereal, muffins and coffee for breakfast. My husband and I went to TX for a business trip and were very pleased with our experience at the Select Inn.

This hotel was clean and comfortable. It wasn't the nicest I've ever been to, but it wasn't the worst either. This is a good, affordable option in a convenient location if you are going to be in the area for a couple nights. Some reviews make comments about the smell - it's obvious that there are smoking rooms. You can't hide that. My room wasn't bad, but you could definitely smell smoke in the lobby. They do offer free Wifi with your room - that was nice.

The minute I walked in, I knew something was wrong. The place looks like a run down hotel built in the 70s. It was not clean at all. When you get to your room, there is an immediate smell that can only be described as terrible BO. The blankets have stains on them - totally disgusting. The pillows had stains on them. EVERY SINGLE towel had a stain on it. When the room cleaning lady cleaned the place, she did not replace the blankets or sheets. She just simply remade the bed. The bed is sunk in the middle like the mattress hasn't been changed in 10 years. I have never been so repulsed in my life. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT STAY HERE. The worst hotel experience of my life, HANDS DOWN.

You can't find a better price for a room accommodating a family. However, it is in serious need of an upgrade. I felt dirty sleeping there, yuck!! The breakfast was nothing to speak a either. Spend the few extra dollars to get a better quality room.

Would not recommend unless it's a money issue. You get what you pay for. Room was clean but the dest was little help. Pay 10$ more and get a much nicer room. Breakfast was a jar of peanut butter and a loaft of bread. I had cereal and milk. The next night I stayed at a different hotel for $10 more and would say it was much nicer and a hot breakfast.

The price was decent, but the room was smelly. Someone had obviously had large dogs in the room recently and it was not throroughly cleaned afterwards. The bed was uncomfortable and you can hear EVERYTHING that happens in any other room on the entire floor. Horrible.

Needed a cheap place to spend the night and I got it! The room was fine and I wasn't expecting anything but the 2 giant roaches in the bathroom were quite a shock!!! I just wanted a place to crash for the night but roaches are UNACCEPTABLE!

The Hotel was clean and convenient to Downtown Lewisville. The bed was comfortable and the room was ok. I would recommend this stay for a 1 or 2 night quick stop over where you need something simple and just a place to sleep ... It is a great value....for the money.

For the price the room wasn't bad everything worked. TV was alittle Fuzzy. AC was nice and cold. would recommend

My husband and I stayed at the Select Inn while visiting Dallas for a wedding. We could tell this was a building that had changed hands quite a bit over the years. It wasn't run down... just old. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. If you're only looking for a place to rest your head at night, this is a great value.

my wife and I stayed only one night on our way to another location. that might sound bad at first but we made plans to come back to lewisville for the events in late september. we look forward to staying with select inn soon. keep up the good work. ray a.

From checking to checking out everything was great. The accomodations, surrounding location and access to Select Inn was extremely satisfactory.

I booked this hotel online and the pictures of the hotel were very inviting. When I pulled in to the parking lot, I was very displeased. I felt very uncomfortable about the location (neighborhood) in which the hotel was located. I almost went straight in and canceled my reservation, but my class reunion was very close to the hotel, so I decided to stay. When I got to the room, I was very displeased. The hotel is really run-down and needs a lot of updates. The walls appeared to be dirty and just overall "dirty". The bed was comfortable, but I really wish I would have known that the hotel was in bad shape before I reserved a room there. The rates were great! But, that just goes to show you that you get what you pay for in the end. The staff was very nice, I will give them that. The second day though, there was a person working at the counter that was playing on her phone and did not even acknowledge that we walked by...My husband said the breakfast was good though. I hate giving bad reviews...but this hotel needs to be updated.

I needed a place to sleep for two nights while visiting friends and family in Lewisville. This was a good place to 'just sleep' for the price. I was at the hotel from about 9pm till 8am each night. The rooms are small, but roomy enough. There was some mold on the shower curtain. Breakfast was muffins, mini powdered donuts, cereal, juice and coffee. The only problem I had was with the remote control, it didn't work! I talked to the front desk staff three times about it and they kept giving me different programming codes to try! Nothing worked! I managed to live without a remote control!

I couldn't have asked for anything better as far as value goes. I was needing a cheap place to stay for one night and this hotel suited my needs just fine. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and eager to help. The only complaint I have is the low-flow shower heads. I know it is a cost-cutting measure in the cheaper hotels, but I will always be dissappointed when I have to use one. I have long hair and there is no way I'm getting out all of that conditioner with the lack of water pressure. Although it is directly located on the highway, you can't hardly hear the traffic AT ALL. Overall a great experience and will patronize them again in the future if needed.

very friendly staff ideal place to stay very keen on price

If you are looking for a place to sleep. This is a good place. It is by no means the cleanest place in lthe halls and lobby area. The rooms are clean the beds are not great but not a bad place to rest your head for one to two nights. The place is in need of repairs, but I am very satisfied. +++++NO BED BUGS++++++ This is big plus for a stay over like this. COLD AIR.... Breakfast is sugar donut and ceral and fruit. Glad we stayed cheap sleep.

other than the swimming pool was very very dirty, everything else was good

This place was just a quick place to stay. It was very ran down with a need of repairs. The pool was a swamp but my team never used it. The service at the front desk was one of the best we had ever had but the hotel needed to be better. Pizza boxes and cans in the hall way wasnt a nice site but the breakfast in the morning made up for it. Overall if you just need this place for one night and need it for cheap this is the place to be just look the other way and go to sleep with all 3 locks locked.

After booking, I read the reviews & was a little concerned. But when we arrived the front desk gentleman was very friendly & we arrived late. The room was good size...nice & very clean. The bed was very comfortable. For the price you can't beat this hotel. We will defiantly use them again if we are ever back that way. Thank you Select Inn for a great stay! AAAAA+++++

This is a great hotel for the price. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and professional. They made me and my family feel welcome. If you're looking for lots of frills and special amenities, this may not be the hotel for you. But if you just need a nice, comfortable place to stay without spending a lot of money, I highly recommend it.

The attendant argued with me about the type of room that was reserved. The room was dirty with food crumbs on the floor when we entered. I killed two roaches in the bathroom which was growing mold. the sheets smelled funny and the bed was so tiny that I and one child did not sleep well in it together not a queen bed like requested more of a double I guess.

nothing wrong with the hotel. No clock/radio but understandable these days. Breakfast a bit of a joke..but juice & toast... OK I guess if u are going for REAL breakfast soon.
