comfortable clean, good breakfast, courtesy bus to local metro station. Good overall

My family and I were satisfied with our room and stay at the Comfort Inn. It is not all that easy to find, as it is located off the street behind a Best Western Hotel, but we did find it. The rooms (we had booked 2) were clean. There is a small restaurant, at which we had dinner. The breakfast was great. It was, in my opinion, a good value.

Dont expect a great ambience. Door was having some issues. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. Metro shuttle is also there every hour. A decent hotel.

Only positive is the transit to metro...

It was an ok place to sleep in a pinch, but overpriced for what it was.... Rooms were pretty clean but small, walls were thin, could see and hear highway...location a little sketchy but able to park in lot for free..ok for quick stop on the way somewhere else.

This hotel still needs an upgrade. The rooms ranged from ok to a bit shabby. There was an off order in the room which was explained as cleaning products. The business center consisted of a computer and printer placed in the old phone station shelf in the lobby. The key board was on the underneath ledge that held the phone book and did not pull out. It was hard to use. The hotel was not within walking distance of any restaurant or stores. The take out menu in the room from a local Chinese restaurant was outdated and the delivered price was $10 more than listed.

Only problem we had was with the continental breakfast. Lots of people trying to get food at once pushing and shoving like they never ate before. No seats available in the restaurant. We left and got breakfast somewhere else. Not worth it. Everything else was perfect! Nice clean rooms and friendly staff. Very convenient location and price was great.

Great location even tho we were stranded due to weather closing airport. Great food and service. C&C

average hotel. friendly staff. convenient shuttle to metro and Reagan national airport. A little worn but expected for the price.

We booked here mainly for the closeness to DC and the shuttle to metro station. On the good side, the staff is extremely amicable, kudos to them! All nice and in good spirits. Room was clean. Location was excellent. On the downside, heavy odor of cigarette in the hallway. Some maintenace to be done (wall paper peeling off in some areas). If the Business Centre was a real business, it's would be on the verge of bankruptcy. All in all a good value for the price, if you don't mind the few perks mentioned.

It was generally good, however poor performance and guest relations by some staff affected the good experience at the hotel.. Room was not made up and front desk staff unhelpful...

I have been at a few hotels in NOVA over the last few weeks, and this was one of the better ones. There was free onsite parking, a shuttle to the Metro, and a restaurant on site. I wasn't asking for much, so this was perfect. This is great for the cost concious!

The free breakfast was a great deal with 2 teens: waffles, eggs, pastries, sausage, cereal, etc. Location was great. (Free) parking across from door difficult to access due to shuttle but other spaces OK. 2 queen room a bit crowded with 2 teens and 1 parent. My sister's King room had a refrigerator, which would have been nice in our room. Good service and cleanliness. In-room iron not working well.

I thought my stay with this hotel was not going to be very good, judging by the price of our room. It was surprisingly inexpensive and not bad. The room was clean, the front desk very cheerful, friendly and accommodating. They have a decent FREE breakfast with your standard waffles, eggs, cereal fruit, AYCE. The FREE shuttle to the Metro Stop in Pentagon City is convenient, although it can be bit tardy at times. FREE car parking at the hotel is probably the biggest thing I loved. Would recommend to any business traveler, not worried about spending gobs of time in their room other than to wind down, sleep, shower after a long days work.

clean but average cheap hotel

Convient to the airport. The shuttle service from the airport to the hotel is slow. Reasonable cost for the location and quality of the hotel.

Other than the fire alarm going off, no hot water the first night, broken coffee maker in room, and no towels the first night, it was a good experience. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The shuttle was accommodating. I would go back. Great breakfast each morning and very nice bar/restaurant in hotel.

I found out the shuttle quits after 10 pm. Something to consider for late flights. Hotel is a little worn but it was clean and the staff nice. Good value for the money when compared to other beltway hotels.

Free breakfast is great. Location kind of stinks, but they offer a shuttle to the Metro station which is also conveniently located to the Fashion Centre Mall.

It was a little bit gross, un-maintained feeling. Almost like it was hard to tell if the sheets had been changed. And the comforters were old and gross. The bar/restaurant had good food. Just don't think I would stay there again especially for the price I was charged....

This hotel is on the inexpensive side and it lives up to what I paid. I needed a location close to DCA airport for a single night. When arriving we had to drive through motel parking lot and I was thinking....oh no! Then I saw the comfort inn building and was relieved to see I was in an actual hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and they smiled! The rooms were a bit outdated and the bedding was somewhat old looking. The bed and pillow comfort was fine but not great. Breakfast was included and it was typical waffle and scrambled egg buffet style. It met my expectations. Overall, hotels in this area are always expensive. If I was bringing my wife and kids I would pay more for a nicer hotel. On a solo business trip for one or two nights I would stay at the comfort inn again. It met my expectations. I got what I paid for.

Old hotel but clean, and comfortable. Hot breakfast is good.

Useful for seeing Washington DC. Breakfast was acceptable and free. The motel tried hard to compensate for a problem we encountered and were truly concerned. They went out of their way to help us when we needed it.

Very happy with hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms, free hot breakfast buffet, free shuttle to metro and airport. Friendly staff. Rates very economical. We would stay here again.

The housekeeper wasn't finished cleaning our first assigned room. The second room had a strong smell of bleach. Finally on our third try, the room was satisfactory. Quality matches the price. Had a shuttle to Metro but did not use it due to frequency of pickups( didn't want to wait 45 minutes with tired children), Breakfast was good. Outdoor pool was dirty but my kids enjoyed it.

Great hotel and great service. More that I expected. Great location for business. Comfort Inn is a real comfort.

not too far away from Washington DC...

We had a nice stay at the Comfort Inn, Arlington. The hotel shuttle to the Metro worked great to get to the DC mall area. Nice king sized bed, fold out bed for the 2 kids was okay, but narrow. Free breakfast was good. Pool was clean and had a lifeguard, it was a little bit of a walk from the hotel and had no bathroom in the pool area. We would probably stay here again, or somewhere else in Arlington since the Metro worked so well.

The hotel was very clean and room was pleasant. Some of the staff were helpful but others could use some training. Breakfast was good but very crowded. Shuttle to Metro was very good, however getting back to the hotel was like a dog fight. Great place to stay if you have a way back from the Metro station.

restaurant was clean, food nicely presented for ordered meals and fair prices. Continental breakfast quite nice. The desk personnel were very helpful when needed. Room was very clean and comfortable. Rates were fair given the location near airport and National Cemetary our main destination.

This was our second trip to this hotel. This year and 2 years ago. It was close to Reagan Airport where my daughter was flying in and out of to go back to Dallas TX. I live in Johnstown PA, so we met in DC when she was there for a CPA conference. Both times we were looking for good shopping malls. Both times we were only told about the Ballentine Mall up Glebe Rd from the hotel. Not once in both years were we ever told that Pentagon City Metro stop had a huge mall with even plaza shops all around the first floor of all the high rise business buildings in that area. We found it my accident when looking in a book in the drawer of the hotel room. We were only able to spend 1 1/2 hrs there on our last day. But next year when we go back we will be sure to visit there for a longer time. We drove all the way to Rockville Md to White Flint Mall which no longer had the shopping I remember when growing up in that area as a child. But the good thing was, I got to spend time with my daughter who just turned 30 yrs old We have a nice time despite all the driving around. We will return as the staff remembered us from the two years before. They keep a clean place always and they are always pleasant and helpful.

Very basic hotel. Old and in bad need of renovation. Cost is the only plus. Hotel shuttle to the Metro was always overcrowded. Sometimes you can't get on and have to wait for the next shuttle. A/C unit in our room was very loud.
