Hampton Inn Sandusky Central - סנדוסקי

The staff was polite, very nice, and helpful. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and beds were very comfortable. The free breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold foods. A huge selection of restaurants nearby. We enjoyed using the huge indoor pool. A great place to stay! We would stay here again.

My husband, myself and my step daughter stayed here to spend a weekend at cedar point. The hotel was clean, and modern. It was close to the park (10 minute drive). We had a room with 2 double bed, and the beds seemed a little narrow, but it wasn't too much of an issue. Overall, good value.

My stay was great. Breakfast was very nice..a choice of hot or cold breakfast. My room was on the third floor. I requested a bottom floor but had a room on the third floor. I do not use elevators so this was not good after walking around cedar point for the whole day but overall it was a nice hotel for the price.

Very clean room, great staff. Stayed the week and staff offered to give me a small fridge for the room which I accepted. heater knob was broken which they was repaired with out hesitation. great breakfast in the morning to get the day started. I will stay there again.

The hotel was very clean, the staff very polite and the proximity to Cedar Point and a variety of restaurants was excellent.

The room was dirtty. The phone was the dritty you could see it very unclean . that was room 300

The location of the hotel was perfect. However the hotel hot tub was not working again, which is the main reason we stayed. The hotel pool was so over chlorinated that you could barely swim. As well as the filthy hotel rooms. The really only redeeming factor was the friendly staff.

We enjoyed our stay but my daughters were disappointed that the hot tub/whirlpool was not working.

the bed and matress were the most comfortable my wife and i have experienced. The breakfast they offered started at 6am. We had to leave earlier and they offered complimentary take out bags with water, breakfast bar, muffin and an apple, a great way to start. Also like that the pool was open till 1am. We will definately stay again when we're off to Cedar Point.

The hotel is very close to Cedar Point/Soak City. We were unhappy with our room. The shower did not work well. The water pressure was low and the shower would not even come on unless you had it on the warmest water setting. Our beds were somewhat uncomfortable. We had asked for a fridge in the room and it smelled like fabric softener and did not ever cool down enough to use.

Honestly, the Hotel compared to other Hampton's that I have stayed at was outdated-the room was dated and had a musty order-the air conditioner was noisy and seemed like the belt was loose-the breakfast was not tended to very well-we were down there at least 10-15 minutes and they did not replenish eggs-french toast. The hot-tub was extremely hot-was not able to use because of the extreme temperature-I wiil not stay at this Hampton again, however the chain is still one of my favorites in other cities! Sandusky rated 3-:(

We stayed just one night for a cheering competition. Everything was wonderful. Very clean. Courteous staff.

The rooms were awesome and super comfortable. The breakfast was the nicest that I have ever seen at a hotel. Staff was super nice and very accomodating. The location was ideal for our needs.

The room was quiet, comfortable and well maintained. My only problem was a hopelessly clogged shower drain, which caused some headaches, but other than that, the location was great. I was a short drive from dozens of restaurants, shopping options and a very short drive away from Cedar Point amusement park, my primary destination.

This hotel seemed totally acceptable. Queen beds rather than doubles would be nice and they could use more tables for breakfast crowds but overall it was nice. We only stay at smoke free hotels and are very smell sensitive. No smoke odor at this hotel.

Overall, the hotel was clean and breakfast was ok. In our situation, the toilets were the problem. Ours didn't flush very well and when it was put to the test (you know what I'm saying), it backed up and overflowed. We called the desk and they sent up a plunger and some towels...no offer to help or find help. No rubber gloves or disinfectant...yuck! My husband complained at the desk when we checked out and we did not receive any sort of compensation for all his hard work trying to unstop their already poorly maintained plumbing and cleaning up their mess. The toilet in the public restroom on the main floor also stopped up during a routine flush. We won't stay here again. One more thing...they bragged about laundering all the bed linens, but the comforters on the full-sized (not queen) beds had huge lumps in them from the quilt batting inside bunching up. You couldn't cover up with them because of a huge lump here and flatness there. It was really strange. The beds looked like they were made of giant lumpy marshmallows. Also, the elevator was hot and smelled like car grease. We liked Sandusky and will choose another hotel next time we go.

Great room for your $$$. Clean and close to all the attractions. Super friendly staff. Will return!
