Looks great outside but needs some renovation and proper maintenance inside, not clean enough.

The hotel was very clean and tidy, the only real issue I had (and this seems to be a theme at most hotels) was that the cable system was pretty pathetic. Very few channels (no ESPN for crying out loud) and all in low-def on a high-def tv. If I was staying for an extended period, it was enough of an annoyance that I would have stayed someplace else.

Room: large, renovated, clean Bathroom: large but grout work was very sloppy Breakfast: nothing exciting but you can manage a bowl of cereal and cup of coffee Pool: dated, in need of a serious facelift Staff: quite friendly Location: next to the interstate but a short drive away from the shopping area Recreation Room: in serious need of replacing- equipment is dated and in disrepair-unusable. Final message- great for if you're passing through and in need of a place to stay for a night. I will not be staying at this hotel again because it is worth the extra 20-30 dollars per night to stay at a competitors hotel.

The room was nice, but the pool was unclean and we ran out of hot water before finishing our showers. When the front desk was told of this, they nodded their heads and kept working.

We traveled to Freeport for a leisurely overnight visit. The comfort suites was a great reasonably priced hotel. The room was clean, the service was friendly and the basic breakfast was exactly what we needed before starting our day. Breakfast ends at 9:30am during the week which worked for us but something to check on if you like to sleep in. It was also nice to have a refrigerator in the room.

We had a good stay. Check-in was quick, and the room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was OK, not fabulous, but who expected fabulous? All in all a good value for a weekend visit.

Overall everything was fine, with the exception that the hotel was very short staffed. The one front desk clerk was swamped each time I went through the lobby. The one breakfast prep person needed help because the breakfast area was quite busy. Had management provided these women with more help, things would have been much easier for staff and guests!

A nice place to stay and great complimentary breakfast. Highly recommend it, except take earplugs or else the highway noise will keep you awake at night. Freeport is a lovely little town, great for shopping and very pretty at night.

The room is large. The furnishings were comfortable but dated. The shower head didn't wok well because the "shower massage" was stuck. Breakfast was just ok. Location is not great - right on the main highway, so a bit noisy.

The positives: good hotel considering the price, the room was clean with the exception of the bathtub (which really just required a good bleaching and some new caulking to get rid of the green/grey look). The negative: the front desk. When we first walked in to check-in, the woman at the front desk was too busy on her cell phone to notice. When she did roll her eyes up at me, the only thing she had to say was "we're full." When I told her that I had a reservation, she got back on the phone to say that she'd call the person right back. Took my name, handed me my room key, and that was that. A couple of hours later we called down to request the use of a cork screw, the man who answered was nice, he said we'd have to bring the bottle down because they only had one in the entire hotel. I went down only to be told that they couldn't find it and suggested we go down the street to a minimart to buy one. Nice. Luckily, I met a lovely couple in the elevator who made a comment about the poor service and got chatting, when I told them about the corkscrew, they were happy to share one that they had just went out and purchased for the same reason. To top it off, it was obvious the two working the desk didn’t get along; the woman would barely move her chair when the guy was searching for the corkscrew, nice impression to leave with your guests. It's unfortunate because the rooms were good, the location was great, but due to the service at the front desk - we will never be back.

I stayed with my wife and a 9 months old baby and I was surprised about the level of service and the rooms. I can recommend the Hotel without any objections.

I haven't had good experiences with Comfort Inns, but the reviews I read online about this one made me decide to take a chance. It was so worth it, in every way. Even the hotel pool and hot tub were ultra clean, and that is hard to find. I have nothing but praise for this hotel.

Recently renovated (except for the shower - odd). Clean. Nice staff. Pool, etc. We didn't try the breakfast. A few miles from LL Bean.

For its price, it was quite a nice place. No complaints.

We had planned to only stay one night, but liked the hotel and location so finished out the last 3 days of our vacation. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean. Some might consider it worn, but rooms were nice and clean which is what we were looking for. Would stay there again if we were in the area. Pool area was nice and breakfast was as you would expect. Not 5 star, but good variety and served its purpose.

Wonderful weekend. Close to all that we were interested in. Staff very friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfasts were superb.

Comfort is the correct name for this hotel!! The beds were great and we loved the hot tub and pool. My only suggestion for their lobby would be to add hot chocolate to the coffee and cookies.

What a gem of a hotel. Friendly helpful staff, clean room and close to LL Bean and outlets. We would most certainly stay in this hotel again.

Not the best free breakfast...but it was free. Not walking distance to Freeport shops. Small parking lot. Room was outdated and dusty.

The only thing that disappointed us was the "fitness center" . Equip was broken and there was only one treadmill anyway. Luckily weather wax beautiful so we could exercise outside. Other than that it was clean and all the staff was pleasant and accomadating!

Modest, in between 2 highways, but very clean and comfortable. The staff could not have been nicer. They gave recommendations of area restaurants, handed out menus and assisted in every way. There is a very good Thai restaurant directly across the highway so it couldn't have been easier. Nothing fancy or plush but I would stay there again in a second.

The hotel was wonderful. we were in town for a funeral and the staff was very helpful.

I was on busines and used the room to sleep only.

This is a nice hotel and very centrally located, however, I found it was poorly run. The staff was not terribly helpful or polite and some of the rooms were not clean.

This was our first stay at a Comfort Suites in a while, and we were pleasantly surprised. Everything was clean and kept up; only two negatives - the breakfast was not great if you are into health (fake eggs, lousy sausage, WHEAT everything), and the traffic from the highway is pretty loud if you get a room on the backside of the hotel. Otherwise it was great.
