Great overnight stay. Very convenient to airport. Jon on the front desk was very helpful. Told us where the gas station was to top off our rental car and helped us with our boarding passes. The hot breakfast was really good with plenty to choose from - much better than most continentals. In all, we'd definitely stay here again.

i enjoy staying here after a long flight back home..

I've stayed in an amazing La Quinta, but this one was just so-so. I slept fine, the room was rather small but all was in its place, and the breakfast worked as it should have. It served its purpose and didn't try to be special. It's an airport hotel.

No complaints. Would stay there again on any future trip to Portland.

great location, close to the airport and the main roads. Great service to and from the airport, and the breakfast starts very early so if you have an early flight you can probably still grab something to eat.

More than adequate, reasonably-priced and clean. The hotel was quick to accommodate my little allergy-prone grandchild and booked our large family group near one another. Much appreciated.

The hotel was pleasant and the service generally good. Only a few points to make: 1) Flooded toilet by pool was out of service for hours; 2) Breakfast room was hectic, small and understaffed; 3) Volume control in one of our rooms was never fixed despite repeated requests 4) Laundry room was inadequate for this particular location/clientele.

Clean, convenient room. No restaurants within walking distance. Room was a little small.

The hotel was clean, hotel staff were friendly, location to the airport is great. The rate included free wifi and morning breakfast. Overall, it was very good value for money. Definitely the least expensive to offer the last two options. I was a bit disappointed that all the pillows in the hotel were down feather, which is horrible for some people with allergies like me. It would be very easy, and desirable to have options for your clients. JD

Great hotel with exceptional service! We loved the hot free breakfast! We will be staying here agai for sure! The pool was so clean as was our room! Great prices too!

I wish the hotel room could of been a little bit larger surprise it was so small but comfortable. I wish the hotel would of said the distance from the airport compared to other hotels as I would of stayed closer due to the shuttle bus had other stops alone the way to airport. Overall, the hotel was very nice for the price.

The person that checked me in was incredibly helpful and pleasant. She even moved her vehicle to the street so I would have a place to park, since the parking lot was completely full. Also, access to and from the Portland Airport is very convenient and easy.

Overall, the stay was fine but for the banging doors all hours of the night and the frigid pool temperature. The pool was one of the main reasons we chose to book at this hotel, but my children (water babies to the core) wouldn't even step foot into it. It was freezing! This isn't typical for indoor pools. The breakfast area was very cramped and is only served until 8:30. I wouldn't stay there again.

The hotel smelled like a pet hotel. If you are a pet lover it's fine. If you do not have animals I would not recommend a stay at this hotel. The first room provided smelled like dog. We were moved to a floor free from pets and it was acceptable.

Shuttle drivers were extremely cordial and helpful. Motel was comfortable and clean. We did not have any noise issues with the airport being in close proximity.

Good for an airport location, but not very convenient for dining or sightseeing. Very pet friendly, though the neighborhood's not the greatest place to walk a dog.

Great spot right by the airport and with easy access to freeways. Had a good continental breakfast and nice amenities for a La Quinta!

Excellent location for early morning departure from PDX, with complementary shuttle. Despite being on the airport flight path and near major highways, noise was not a problem. Good complementary breakfasy with very early start time (04.30).

Seems as of the vacuums at this hotel do not quite reach to the edge of the carpet against the wall. About 1" of dust all around the edge of the carpet and up the carpeted baseboard.

Good Shuttle service and good rates. The pool was nice not heavy with massive amounts of chlorine and the hot tub was nice. They had a crib ready when we arrived for are daughter. Room was clean and had lots of pillows. The breakfast was a vast improvement over a lot of the motels i have stayed in the past.

Hotel was centrally located to top attractions,shopping, and great variety of restaurants. Our room (King bed) felt ultra luxurious in it's decor, bedding and amenities. We were in Seattle for personal business but wished we could have stayed longer.

We arrived in Portland when a large sports event was on and hotels downtown were not to be had. Hotels.com recommended La Quinta Suites by the airport - only 17 minutes away. So we loitered over supper, enjoyed the town and then checked in. In fairness, La Quinta is about what one would expect from an end-of-the runway motel. Reasonably comfortable rooms and a free breakfast of sorts. Except this one is a bit more run down than most. The water in the "hot tub" was tepid, and foul - badly in need of cleaning and some stronger chemicals. The pool water was also murky. The outgoing flights and the commuter traffic had us all awake at 0530. We shifted to the Holiday Inn Express another 5 minutes out in Troutman for our second night. Less expensive, cleaner, better breakfast and quieter. So rate this first visit to La Quinta suites as my last.

The best part is breakfast. Room was decent but had an odor to it that we weren't sure about. very small.

The room was large and clean. The breakfast was really good for the price of free.

Great place to stay before a flight. Left our car and didn't have to leave it in a back lot or something. Cheaper than the airport. Right up front next to check in! Great fast shuttle service to the airport. Will definitely stay again!

I stayed here while on a quick business trip to Portland. The 24 hour shuttle form PDX was convenient, because I had a late arrival. The shuttle driver and the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a nice selection of hot and cold items, and the business center, located in the breakfast room, was nice to be able to check in for my flight home.

the staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean and comfortable. I was seeing a friend off to Columbia and they let me use the free shuttle to take her to the airport were i hung out for several hours and then they shuttled me back to my car at the hotel for free even after i already checked out.i thought that was pretty cool. i would definatly stay there again.

This hotel is just minutes to the airport. Excellent location to rental car area of airport. Quiet.

The location of the hotel was a bit awkward but the staff were available to shuttle to the airport and to the MET station. The staff were very accommodating and nice. The room was clean the bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was way beyond continental--eggs, sausage and Belgium waffles! Yum!

That's all I ask of a hotel, but it amazes me how many miss those two simple qualities. The LaQuinta Inn at the Portland Airport hits them square on the mark, AND they are pet-friendly. We paid no additional charge for our canine traveling companion. For basic overnight accommodations in a convenient location this property was more than adequate. We had challenges locating "fast food" eateries nearby that weren't either at the nearby Mall or within PDX. After a long, tiring drive (with a dog) we needed a nearby takeout establishment to grab a meal and retire to our room. In fairness, we did not first consult with the hotel staff, relying instead on our GPS. The following morning, we were unable to sample the LaQuinta's included breakfast due to a crush of high school kids visiting Portland for a basketball tournament. The tiny breakfast nook was standing-room-only, but we easily found a couple of other suitable restaurants nearby. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

The Hotel was nice for the price and area. The breakfast was better than most LaQuinta 's I stayed at but after two days it was enough. The shuttle was convenient and the staff was friendly, however they did not know much about what Portland offered for Tourist. The internet was down for the week and every day they promised it was going to be fix, it never happened. We had to use internet at the hotel across the street. We took a tour that one of the staff at the front desk recommended. It was a highlight of our vacation. It was far too expensive but the tour guide made it enjoyable. Located near the airport, next to Cascade Station (rail and shopping) and just off the freeway. This place is handy to all of Portland and Vancouver. We spent four nights there and could not have been more pleased--free parking, free breakfast and free wifi. Well worth the money!
